Pretty classic text adventure game, though I'm not a huge fan of the genre I can say I appreciate the writing, it's pretty neat!

Pretty classic text adventure game, though I'm not a huge fan of the genre I can say I appreciate the writing, it's pretty neat!
wall jumping feels a bit weird and bugs out at times, sometimes I get stuck in some surfaces but I'm not sure why, aside from that though, it's a fun premise and fun to play game as well! Pretty impressive for a compo game!
Pretty relaxing game, I have been playing quite a lot of pinball games recently so I'm kinda biased towards this sort of game at the moment! I like the aesthetics of this game mostly, and the gimmick of the controls fading added a extra challenge to this game. Overall, good job on the game and I look forward to seeing more of your creations!
Such an absurd concept, it's so funny I like it. I'm surprised at the amount of polish (i know it's not 100%, but still) for a compo category game! Overall humor is great and the gameplay was pretty fun! I like the fact that you have to juggle between two things to do and the clothing changing sequence is pretty funny too
Pretty good endless running game! I really liked the cutscene and the ending graphic!
Man this game is so cool, the art and animations look really polished, the camera effects just makes the game feel really good to play, the controls are very intuitive and makes the game fun as heck, and it's a good challenging game as well, movement in the game feels good and is really fun, overall, a really solid game for a compo entry! Absolutely amazing work! The soundtrack is great as well~
@jeremy-ryan great result you've got there, well done!
I like the cute graphics, the gameplay was quite in-depth for a game made in 72 hours. Really great job with the art! The upgrade icons could be more descriptive, or perhaps a description on what the upgrade does would help? I find the game quite frantic but that also has its charm! Overall, great job, and I'd love to see more games from you all!
Pretty good pixel art graphics~ gameplay is simple but still fun!
For a first entry, this is pretty good! The music felt like it didn't fit the game but hey it may just be my preference. Other than that the gameplay idea you had was implemented okay which is nice, if I had something to gripe about it's that I am unsure what to do at first until several tries, but I think that's not too bad, encourages exploration. I particularly liked the animation on the snowman!
For an arcade-y style high score game, I had a lot of fun playing it! I'm biased towards this kind of game. Pixel art graphics look like it could be one of those old SNES games which is great. Controls were smooth and I liked how the movement was implemented, doesn't feel janky. The chiptune style audio also fits the game pretty well~ and I like how the theme was interpreted to be the end of the dinosaur age haha. Overall pretty enjoyable experience
I like the simple concept, implemented pretty well, the graphics are simple as well, and I had fun with it! I like how you have to stay on a flower to suck up the energy from it, other than that the controls, though awkward, presents a challenge, so yea, pretty fun overall
Pretty simple concept! Implemented really well for a compo game! I like how there's some decision making involved whether or not to choose to regenerate a piece, because it takes a shorter time to regenerate a piece as opposed to using it right away
I really like how this game looks and feels! The art style is really cute and the gameplay, while simple is pretty fun! Reminds me of mashing fighting game combos, and the elemental magic effects on the text boxes is a nice touch!
I'm impressed by the scale of the map, and although at times the combat feels a bit janky, overall it's still quite an impressive entry for a game jam! I particularly like the art-style and art direction you went for for the game, as well as the narrative and story aspect of it!
You need to included the DLL files listed here for games made in Love2d: https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution I was able to run it because I had love2d installed. Pretty decent text adventure game, the writing is pretty nice~
Pretty classic space shoot'em up game! I really liked the pixel art and animations~
Pretty cute robot game, gameplay is simple but still fun! The graphics are great and I like the fact that there's a functioning menu!
@apandso yeah there are multiple possible endings, based on how much "acceptance" you have at the end. It depends on actions and dialogue choices
@jeremy-ryan thank you so much for your well written and comprehensive review of the game! Can I just mention as well I'm a big fan of the game you made before: launch party? I put it on my stream while I was streaming the development process of this jam to let people play with it as I was focusing on the implementation ;D
@jeremy-ryan thanks for the congratulations! I really appreciate it!
pretty interesting game, innovative idea~ I don't get all of the humor but at some points it's pretty funny too~
for a first jam this is pretty well done! Fairly simple idea of a endless running high score game, executed well!
pretty simple and fun concept! I had fun playing the game trying to survive as long as possible. The controls were a little bit awkward but other than that it's executed pretty well for a jam game!
I like the concept, pretty fun once I got used to knowing which colors neutralized. I wished the controls were better, like if there is keyboard support but overall it's good fun!
