This is a silly fun game and I love it to death. I will say it is hard to focus on the moving spot light, and the arrow keys prompt below. I would've liked to see it appear above your head, but it's a minor nitpick. Also the changing camera angle was a nice touch. a solid jam entree for sure. Good Job.

The game was pretty simple in design, yet I had a lot of fun playing it. The silly dance moves and camera angles are a nice touch.
Very nice, its well animated and the 4 levels are good and well executed :) It would have been a + to have the arrow needed to be pushed in rythm :smile:
I certainly wouldn't have been able to come up with something like this ahah fun idea! The dancing skeleton also looks pretty cool, it's a shame that you have to stare to the botton side of the screen instead of watching the action, but other than that pretty good!
For me music never played in level, but always in main menu, and also my score never become something except 0
Love the mechanics, though I think the scoring needs to be harsher for missed keys.
@team-on Hm, it's weird that the music did not work in the level: the volume variable is shared between the level music and main menu music, so it should have worked... It could have something to do with how the game saves the user preferences into a file, maybe it did not have read/write access. The scores are also saved in user preferences, so that might also be why it was 0 for you. It's a shame that you could not experience the game in it's full potential! :cry:

I wanted to try it out, but when I start the game I only see a black screen albeit the controls. Couldn't hear music either.

I'm a Linux-user so I launched it through WINE. That's probably the reason, or then it's a graphics card -driver issue.
Most Unity-games work quite well with WINE, but I've noticed if the game includes bloom (?) or certain lightning effects, there will be trouble.

It's understandable that including a native Linux-build might seem unnecessary (since we're the minority).
But whenever it's possible, try to include builds that can be run on different systems. :pray:

PS. I like the fact you included a time-display. As you can see, I was trying out the game at the perfect hour for a dance-game.
If it wasn't for Covid19, I might be raving at the club even as we speak! :man_dancing_tone1:

@dis0rder Hey thanks for showing interest for our game. I'm kind of hesitant of releasing builds for platforms that I can't test them on, but I added a Linux build of the game on our itch page anyway. If you end up trying it out, please let me know how it goes. Kiitos!
Nice game, the graphics and animation are awesome. Gameplay was OK, trying to keep an eye on the spotlight and the arrow keys was awkward. Maybe it would have been better to have the arrows appear above the character's head.
It would be much easier if the prompt buttons were closer to the middle of the creen. Other than that, very cool
Cool concept, I love the dancing skeleton. I do think the arrow key prompts would be better near the middle of the screen though, I kept having to look away from the action so I could dance.

Sorry I didn't catch the line about needing to wiggle the audio nob before the music started; I ended up getting a fair way in before I actually heard the music! Loved the aesthetic of this... the VHS font, the subtle distortion and CRT effect on the corners... real nice! Impressive models and animations too! Enjoyed the challenge of doing a rhythm game with one hand, while controlling my slippery movements with the other. Thanks for making this! Any opportunity to shake my bony butt and keep Roller Disco alive is a welcome one.
