I love dams, I love stickman dam. Would've been nice to have a score to track my progress / get a better one next time. I would have liked a replay button too. Also some visual indication as to where the dam leaks are would really help elevate the gameplay.
An alright game, only problem being that the game felt slow.

Pretty fun game that you can play in a few minutes.
Would have been good to have a score counter, and some background music. Other than that, nice entry!
A little repetitive, but overall fun!

Fun game, I like how the particle effects mean you can just hang around on the low side and use the falling water to find leaks. Not sure what the clock upgrade is for, or if there are any more upgrades after that, a bit of text there would help a lot.
Pretty solid! Agreed with one commenter above that having a score would be cool, but otherwise this is great for your first game jam! I had fun zooming around trying to get all the leaks. Congrats on finishing a game!

Always love a stick figure game.
Pretty cool1 I wish there was a little more to it, and I never knew when I could upgrade.

The start of the game felt really slow but after that it became really enjoyable, like the upgrades too. All in all really fun game. And I have an other suggestion you should make the UI fit better with other screen sizes because it juggled around and i couldn't really see the amount of money and the tutorial at the beginning, also i would liked some moody music in the back but i liked the game overall
Love the concept. Well done! I agree with previous comments about having a score tracker.
Simple but neat concept! I was a bit concerned about being able to find the leaks in time since there is no map, but the water particles help lead you to the right place. I like the upgrades, just wish there was a way of keeping track of score.
Nice job, and nice to see you try out game jams, it's a lot of fun!
Congratulations for your first jam! Pretty fun, I always upgraded my speed so the guy started just speeding through the dam, staying in the lower part of the map to check for water particles.

Cool game. I don't really know why but I am a big fan of the stickman graphics. I am a bit sad that there is no score in the end. Otherwise I could see myself spending quite some time on this game, trying to keep the dam standing. I really liked the speed upgrades. It was a lot of fun navigating from crack to crack faster and faster!
Congrats on finishing up your first game jam :-) Thats a big win in itself :-D The concept is simple, but works. As mentioned above, a score would be nice :-)
Great game. First i thought a marker would be good that shows you were cracks are. Map the map was small enough so it wasnt necessary. Good job :)

I'd have liked a score or a little clearer controls and graphics a little more consistent. Still, the idea is a good idea and it's playable and fun.
A really good job for a first game jam, well scoped with a direct and clear goal. I agree with others that a score could have been good, or perhaps a clearer indicator of how long the Dam had left until it burst.

I think the game could've benefitted from a clearer indicator or what's actually going on water wise. e.g. whether the totall amount leaked is what causes you to lose, or the number of concurrent leaks. I couldn't see a reason to upgrade repair speed because it seemed like repairing more leaks was better than repairing faster, but I couldn't tell if the dam was filling up or something. If it filled up with water from the bottom when you're losing it would be clearer. But good first jam.

Nice little game! Simple but enjoyable game mechanics. I liked how the water particles coming from an off-screen crack could lead me in the right direction, maybe you could make the particles go a bit sideways too.

Nice done for your first jam, you have a neat gameplay loop! I would have liked to get some infos on the overall state of the dam, and also a feedback on the boost of speed I got when buying improvements with "Q" (like an FX on the character, or "Speed +1"
Cool idea! I liked the take on the theme, and the game itself was fun as well, particularly with how easy it was to learn! I particularly liked the upgrades, they really made the game a lot more fun to play and I'd have loved to see more things like that in the game. The graphics worked well; I liked how the water particles were a good indicator of where the leaks were, it was a great way of communicating that to the player! Great work on this game, well done!

Cool game with a fun, easy to grasp concept. I would recommend adding in a directional notice to alert players to new cracks forming. Great work for a weekend! Please consider checking out our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/50/25-vikings
nice game especially for a first jam. I really enjoyed playing it. Good job on your entry.

Fun & interesting concept, fits the theme  It was kinda slow until it really sped up, cracks started appearing everywhere and I couldn't even see them anymore, thanks to those big particles that were everywhere  They could be just a little bit smaller and have less spread, also kinda limit those white ones at the top maybe - I really couldn't see cracks after they started appearing next to each other and I started repairing them  The game could also be zoomed out, so you can see the whole dam, or a zoom option, that'd zoom out for a bit when key is pressed. Overall though, nice entry, good job and congratulations on your first game jam!

Congratulation on making your first game for a game jam and welcome to the community :) Nice game and cool "Making Of"! Few suggestions/tips for the future:
- To timed game liked this one, add a timer or/and counter - how many holes player fixed (it can be used as player score, and it is easy to implement). - If you have a sound that will be repeated multiple times during a game, make 2-3 variation of this sound effects and play them at random when needed, that adds to the overall feeling of the game. - If you are interested in making some music for your game in a future then I can recommend Bosca Ceoil, it is free software and super easy to use.
Anyway, good job and I hope you will come back for the future Ludum Dare.
