loved teh mood and the theme, but i couldnt see a goal to have in mind.
Nice looks and controlls but I dont really see a game here to be honest. Also did it not really hit the theme I would say.
This game has the nicest UI so far. High quality. There were many details on the form that I don't wanted to see or use. Just tried to make the decision based on wounds.
You game is great, you really feel the anxiety of choosing, I really like the real life fact at the end. The music really reinforce the anxiety. Really well done.
Really Interesting Game play, Kind of reminded me of papers please. The audio and the controls were excellent.A few constructive criticism i would like to give is that i would be better if there was a proper end goal and i would be given the option to review all the patients before giving a judgement.
Aesthetically fantastic and the sounds were really nice, the mechanics were also really easy to get to grips with. Progression through the game was linear and therefore simple to understand. Although I recon think the game could have benefitted from a more defined end goal.
I spent like 2-3 minutes to find out how to check every patient's card before first decision. That would be nice feature!
Great mood and interesting concept, would be interesting to also have time pressure when deciding the treatments and request for additional informations.
This game is like papers please, but about hospital. A lot of decisions and very polished game. Nice work. But please, work on buttons feedback.
Very polished game, well done! Sometimes words like unconscious are very hard to read for me with the selected font but that might just be me. Enjoyed my time with this one!
Great work in such a short time! And so polished! Following the narrative of each patient treated was fascinating and it was tough to make decisions at times.
Great work!
Great job on the UI/UX.
Game is very moody. I actually felt bad. I love games with interesting story, and this one gave me this. Great submission!
Awesome game. Best I've played this LD.
Amazing! Lots of talent there! It was extremely immersive.
Good, dark mood to it and a great UI. Music was well done too. I do wish that I could have more of an idea of who had come in for the day before making any decisions, although that would take a lot of the decision-making stress away.
Very interesting idea and execution. The papers please style gameplay is pretty engaging and it was fun to play. Here's my playthrough: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/598815067 Nice entry :)
A lovely experience, saddening as it is to watch the patients you can't admit die. But this fits the theme of the Jam quite well in my opinion, nice work!
I think what you did here is amazing. Sometimes I really struggled to decide whether to save someone or not. The main problem I see is lack of information, but it's understandable as this is more of a narrative experience than a gameplay-heavy one. Congratulations!
I like the general concept of the game and how it fits with the theme. Well done putting together the people and stories.
Though I really would like the ability to see all cases before I make the decision who to admit to the hospital. So you could weigh the cases and people between each other instead of just trying to decipher how likely the current patient is to die and then hope that nobody worse comes after.
Love the mood and UI. Such immersive concept that gives you the anxiety of Papers Please. Everything is pretty polished. I don't understand that why there is a missing info mechanic if we get that almost immediately with a signature. Overall, great work!
This a well done and polished game. The only thing bothering me is that your decisions have no consequences to yourself. There is no punishment for failure. There is no reward for success.
Great UI and game overall, but there were no consequences, no "bad choices", so I just refused everyone and nothing happened.
very nice game, I love the artstyle, it's rough but your cutscene and world building is so good that I don't care that it's rough. overall awesome entry!
@flying-dog-fish @pandasekh Actually, we didn't want to make a failure condition on purpose, but several cases will change the story of main character at the end. And there is a pair of connected characters in game
Really good UI work, made the whole game feel very immersive. Good writing as well! Just an excellent entry in all aspects, honestly.
This was so impressive. Melancholy, but really compelling. The UI was so smooth and professional looking, though it did take me a minute to figure out that the Treat/Refuse text options were draggable stamps. Small correction though: "Pen-friends" should be "Pen pals" (it's just a weirdly specific term), but other than that the text was great.
It would have also been nice to see who all the patients for the day were before making your decisions, but overall I really liked the way you tied it all together, and the experience was really immersive and thoughtful.
Turns out it was not a good idea to refuse everyone treatment
It was a moody, well polished journey. Felt bad at first, but then I grew numb to all horrors of war and just started treating 'em based on their symptoms severity. I assume that's what happens to real field medics also, so I guess it was immersive experience?
I like that there was no failure condition, I think it really makes you think of the consequences and is also less frustrating for the player. Really well polished UI, satisfying to sign and stamp things! most moody game I've played in this jam. Like the report at the end, especially the inclusion of the doctor and a funny touch wit the devs in the credits. Right length too.
This was dope. I played it on stream, it was cool, I'll link you to it after it's done. Had a lot of fun. Good shit.
I love it. It's 5 of 5 gem entry :) I saved 11 persons is it good or not?
Wow, impressive work. I just had a minor problem finding out how to accept or reject patients. I just clicked but this did nothing. Wasn't obvious to me that I have to drag/drop.
Very polished. Please don't judge me but I liked placing the stamps :) Nothing made me read the intel on patients, but only once I knew I had enough slots for the day. I think a doctor wouldn't either, when there was no shortage of beds. Therefore I'm very sorry to have skipped some of your texts :) A game totally worth playing several times. I'm pretty sure you must have played This War Of Mine and Papers Please, as mentioned above. Ship it as is to the stores, really! :) Also thanks for playing and rating and streaming our game!
That was deep. Great UI although it took me a sec to figure out the stamps are draggable.
Wow, that's quite tough. Really puts you before some tough ethical decisions. I liked the concept of the stamps, kind of reminded me of Papers Please. The UI was really nice and polished, yet really fit the mood. The music added a lot, I really appreciated how it changed when it went to the case review section. I didn't notice the 'aftermath' tab that was new in that section in the beginning so I couldn't read it for the first couple of cases, maybe you could add something to draw some more attention to that.
Hey! We just want to thank everyone for your kind feedback! We are very pleased that so many people played and liked our game. We are working hard on improvements right now. First of all, we'll let a player to check several patients' cards before making a decision. And we'll make a proper tutorial to explain that you have to drag/drop stamps)
@zampi Yes, 11 patients is quite a high score. Good job!
Amazing mood and graphics, it felt like a proper non-jam game. Nice touch being able to place stamps yourself, only usability improvement there would maybe be allowing click-drop in addition to click-drag. The music worked really well too. Great job!
Do you really reckon it needs a tutorial to figure out dragging the stamps? Are players THAT dummy nowadays? :O
I didn't expect a narrative-driven entry and yet here we are. Props for coming up with a solid plot and worldbuilding in such a short time. I would already like this game for the _very polished_ papers, please style gameplay alone but the ending hits me hard when I realize I get to know the fate of the characters I'm treating. Amazing work!
Interesting game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 46 compilation video series, if you want to take a look. :) https://youtu.be/H9ztqzSqyIM
Really polished, a nice game. :)
The topic selection was a safe bet for the theme, it was not really innovative BUT you executed it perfectly. Wonderful mood, audio, graphics, just an all in all great experience.
Well done!
amazing!
this game is awesome. and I added it to the list of games about decision making!
I loved the pictures and the over all design as well as the mechanics of the game, requesting more info part was awesome.... I think a great idea for this is to compare your judgement to the world(other players) after finishing the game..
it felt highly polished and the choices were hard to make! great job.
wow this game is truly amazing I can't understand how you did this in a such short time period. great job!
Reminds me of papers please. I especially love the little details like how your son and brother are among the treated. 5 in all categories from me!
great game and very innovative. reminds me a bit of papers please. great work guys
Thanks for your comments!
@abdurrahman-khallouf Actually, the world players statistics is a pretty good idea
This game really meaningdul. Nice graphics, music and narrative. I imagine how much effort u put in those characters, portaraits, personal stories. Good work, I think the best game I've played on this LD (yeah, I like game with mood :D)
P.S. увидел русские фамилии и респект возрос ещё больше)
Wow. I liked the idea and the theme of your game. I love the graphics and the Stamps xD. Great job guys. Also credits at the end of game is genius. Reports too. I was totally in it
