This is probably the perfect game!! I love the turtle and I love the nips!
this turtle is my son
This is really cool! I would love if there was a "time completed in" score system where it showed how long it takes you to save the turtle
Hey man, that was pretty funny! The graphics are on point, just like the audio. Took me some time to realize I had to push the turtle down the beach, but he is a free boy (or girl) now. Keep up the good work!
Neat idea. Lovely small game. Really dig the art! Would have enjoyed being able to skip the intro text on my second try.
back because i love that chill turt
I am very upset that this game doesn't have more ratings!! It's probably one of my favorites
Really good game
Hey thanks all for the kind words!
@pee-thief @jenny-bourke Thanks for coming back haha, I have a huge list of games to go through and rate so hopefully more people will see my game afterwards.
@baconeta I had a few friends try to speed run my game, so naturally they also suggested I add a timer in! I think a timer is just priority now in game jams hahaha.
@sludgekey Yeah I would have loved to put a skip button in but the intro cut scene was the last thing I did before the submission deadline. Ill definitely keep that in mind as a priority for future jams!
This is a fun and funny game! I enjoyed playing it, would like more, definitely. Graphics and the sounds are really great. Great work man!
Fun game ! Everything about it is good.
Well done !
what a beautiful guy ;)
Great job on the art and music. The aesthetic of the game is really pleasing overall.
Fantastic work, that was great fun :)
Can you make a webgl build?
Fun little game! As others have said, it's basically perfect for what it is. Good job!
@gonzako Unfortunately I cant sorry, the game was primarily designed to be only downloadable as there would be a lot of scaling issues with an HTML5 build :frowning2:
I really really really like the graphics, humor and the theme of this game. That was pretty funny to play ^^ The game itself can be done quickly, but I don't think that was your main goal on this game. The audio was also good. Nice job overall :3
I like this game, the music feels chill, the dialoge is nice and the overal game just feels good. The only issue I had with it that I was uncertain what to do after having dug out a path for the turtle because I thought the water was going to flow to the turtle instead of that I had to push the turtle to the water, but that was only a minor issue. Great game!
Very original idea and really clean realization ! It's nice that you took the time to create an introduction with those funny dialogs  The only drawback for me was the audio theme which was too short, so that was a bit repetitive during the entire game.
Hey there - I think this is a solid entry overall. The biggest weakness, in my opinion, was communicating to the player what exactly they had to do. I couldn't figure out why my bucket wasn't filling up, until I realized that I had to go deeper into the ocean. I didn't realize that I had to manually push the turtle - I was just confused as to why it was sitting there after I finished digging out the sand.
While it's a cute little minigame (nothing wrong with creating a short experience for the jam), at its core it's a pretty basic time management game, and one that can only really punish the player for trying to beat the game a little too fast. Personally I would've made the bucket of water completely refill the turtle's health, as there's not much of a point in making them complete that same task multiple times in a row. You could also then make the sand path a bit longer in order to compensate for the quickened game pace.
Aside from that there's not much I'd change about the game outside of adding a bit of complexity to the core gameplay cycle, such as hazards to the player/turtle. The overall presentation was fantastic - probably one of my favorites so far. The controls were clearly explained to the player, the menus were very well designed and constructed (and fully functional!), and the graphics and audio were all well suited for the theme and looked/sounded great.
nice little game, awesome graphic and love the music. good job!
I saved the turtle !!!!! I really had fun to play this game.
The graphics are awesome, that's make me choose to test this game. Great idea the introduction dialog between man and the turtle, it help us to understand what we have to do. The effects are nice, and make the game feel very polish. The music works well with game, but it's too loud compare to sound effect.
Awesome
