Fantastic work, that was great fun :)

Fantastic work, that was great fun :)
It seems like if you don't get off the ground with your first jump you're stuck there. You also might want to add to the instructions that you need to click and drag the mouse downwards to jump.
This is a super neat game, It feels fast-paced and rewardingly challenging :)
I LOVE THIS GAME!
Soooo beautiful, amazing audio, genuinely fun puzzle, perfectly on-theme, really well executed!
This was really fun to play! Love the music, it really helps you get in the rhythm.
Wow, this is a super fun puzzle platformer! The looping confused me at first, but it's a nicely implemented mechanic, great work!
Having the reset key R be right next to the interact key E caused a few painful mistakes though!
Amazing music!
This is too real. I'm tempted to submit it to my manager as an idea of how we could improve.
Fantastic work :bravo:
This is a really cool concept, I made it through without taknig damage the first time so I had to replay it!
The looser controls was a great way of showing damaged systems, great work :D
This is so cool! Brings back memories :D
Is it possible to play on a real gameboy? If so, how do I do it?
Pretty cool, always fun to try out new technologies :)
Might be nice to have the turret rotate with a little acceleration and with a higher top speed, it gets pretty tricky to turn around in time sometimes!
I think not having background music and sound effects hurts this kind of game as you miss out on setting the mood and intensity. Would love to see an update with a kick-ass soundtrack :D
More of a toy than a game??? It makes my game look like garbage! haha.
Suuuper enjoyable and really nicely presented, excellent work :)
Kinda fun to try and plan neat efficient routes through the map. Honestly it was a little frustrating when the tiles change just before you get to them haha.
@3mpty thanks for playing! and thanks for spotting that bug (how embarrassing).
I'm super glad you enjoyed the awkward key layout, I'm always worried people will find it more annoying than funny, looks like I did ok this time :D
@beth thanks for playing!
@smooches thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :) Maybe next time I should add configurable controls
@cubanfrog thanks for playing, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Getting the timings on the tutorial took me faaaar too long so I'm happy it comes across well.
I was worried the simple aesthetic might have been a bit too minimal so it's really nice to hear you say you liked the look of it <3
@pilgrim1987 thanks for playing! The idea of playing co-op hadn't even crossed my mind, maybe I'll try and make it a special mode next time :D
@thegamerasd thanks for playing, so glad you enjoyed the art style! I'm a prgrammer, not an artist so it means a lot
@triggthediscovery thanks for playing! You're absolutely right, having a highscore timer was _literally_ the next thing on my todo list, but the deadline cut me off. I'll try and remember to add it in post-jam!
@python-b5 thanks for playing, glad you had fun!
@mukhavertolet thanks for playing! Super glad you enjoyed it.
That's a really good note on the bar placement, I probably should've sketched out a wireframe or two before getting stuck in :P
@staticbits thanks so much for playing! Really glad you enjoyed it 😊
@decadedecaf thanks for playing! I absolutely love those games, super chuffed at the comparison
The liquid shaking was _surpisingly_ tricky to get working so I'm very glad you enjoyed it! The game is written in Clojure and is essentially a colossal tree of pure functions composed together and applied to a global state each frame, which is fun, but makes seemingly simple stuff like 'mutating variables' (ew lol) relatively tricky.
Obviously I've no one to blame but myself
@felixwentzel thanks for playing! I focussed on the mood and pace of the game a lot this time, so really glad to hear it was worth the effort :D
Maybe I could've had the keys to press displayed on screen as you play, I've seen other games this jam that did that. That way you don't have to remember all the controls all the time, which would probably be helpful as most people are rating 20+ games!
@joaosilva22 haha yeah, looking back I reckon I should've added a ui with the keys to press on screen so it's not possible to miss. Maybe next time!
Thanks for playing :D
@simonl thanks for playing!
And thanks so much for providing the exception there, I've got a good idea of what's going wrong. It's a really hacky audio system I rigged up, and it sometimes falls over if it has to play too many sounds in too short a space of time . It's been on my backlog to improve for ages, I guess I should finally get round to doing it :P
Glad you enjoyed the game though, I'll pass your compliments on to the musician :)
@bgdc thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the game :D
It's a good point about the controls, they are a little awkward. I just used the letters of the actions while k was making it and then never thought to change it. I might try and do something a little more configurable next time.
@mar3k thanks for playing! So glad you enjoyed it :D
Open source games deserve to be run on open source platforms :penguin:
@jupiter-hadley thanks for playing! I like your videos! Insane commitment to playing so many Ludum Dare games, very much appreciated
@vladadamm thanks for playing! You're right, the controls are a bit janky, I just used the first letters of each action during development, I never got round to changing it to something more comfortable (should have done more playtesting!).
And yeah the end of the game is just trying to see how long you can last. If I were to do it again I'd have a score counting up the longer you last to give the player some feedback.
That's a super cool idea, took me a while to get used to jumping without spilling all my powerups, but I think that mainly reflects on me :D
HAHAHHAA YES!
This is so much fun, such a perfect game, I got real good at drawing that bunny :D
Love the idea, and the music and effects are pretty sweet.
Took me ages to figure out that you use wasd instead of arrow keys
I love the quick turn-around time when you die, makes it soo much easier to do "just one more".
Also the game is really impressive for 48 hours, amazing work!
Haha! "Delicious"! Couldn't stop laughing.
omfg that music _slaps_. Kept me playing for ages :)
Found the controls kinda tricky, they seemed to get worse the more I moved?
Love the art syle, especially the chromatic abberation, gave it a really polished feel.
This was really fun! I've always found puzzle games really hard to make, and I always think it's super impressive when they're actually enjoyable to play :D
I had a great time playing this! It's very atmospheric and the puzzles are varied and enjoyably difficult. Great work!
That. Was. LOVELY.
thank you for the calmest 15 minutes of my day <3
Also, that's some stunning lighting effects you've got going on there, really good work.
A fun unique game, I wasn't always sure what the goal height was, but it was enjoyable to play :)
I love it, puzzle games are so hard to make! Feels like you're really onto something here, would love to play more levels!
Just tried the web build, and had a lot of fun :D
Yeah audio would improve it, but the core is pretty solid. I felt like I was doing really well but apparently my aim is not as good as I thought :P
Oh man this is great!
I was splitting up my forces, spreading through the streets looting everything I could. Small fights with the police started breaking out, I was using items to keep my smaller groups alive, it felt super intense!
Eventually amassed an unstoppable force, Vive la révolution!
That was really fun, and those hard levels aren't messing about! Love it.
Congrats on your first game! I found it really tricky to get punches in, but a cool idea nonetheless!
