I love the style of this
any chance of getting a web or mac version so I can play and rate it?
Very funny idea, and I like the sickly boy's dialog.
Very cute! I loved the art style and perspective of the scenes!
@velvetlobster We'll try and upload a Mac version tomorrow for ya!
Graphics look really stylish. Waiting for a web or Linux version to rate it. :(
Great art style.
Mood works well, using the trope of the victorian doctor healing the doomed is a pretty nice touch.
The fact you dont have to click anything to go in and out of interaction is a great idea. I had some trouble figuring out what I had to do past the linen though. Also seems like if i go back and forth in and out of interaction it switches to a new disease randomly (or am I just misinterpreting the dialog variation as such ?) I pretty much gave the guy everything I had, maybe giving him bad stuff makes him worse ?
The problem is you can give him every single item you pick up even if its not helping so you end up having nothing on you when you need it and wasting lots of time..
Good mood, good art, I like the implementation in 3D. well done.
@gramsinator Thank you for your feedback! So he gives a different hint for each item he needs. He can have scurvy, anemia, a cold, an injury, an infection, and be poisoned, and each of these problems are solved with a different item! Ideally you want to hold onto items until he shows symptoms that he needs them. It doesn't hurt him to give him something he doesn't need, but it does waste time.
The art style. The music. Wow!
where the heck are these dang linens

best art i've seen yet, and the 2d art in the 3d world is very cool!
The art style is really nice and the mood is achieved very well. It plays very fluently, although I think sometimes it was hard to know what he actually wants, andd the pond minigame is a little too hard (or maybe I just didn't get it :D ).
was a little bit creepy at first, but the humor eased me and I found it pretty enjoyable.
the art aesthetic is 100%!!! very unique and eye catching
Amazing art style. For sure one of the most unique games I've played yet this jam (and I've played a lot!) Keep creating.
Would love to see this expanded and a bit more challenging :)
You nailed the art style, great job!
Thank you for a great experience! The game and visual style turned out to be unique! Hats off to the creators!
 Music and sounds.
 Graphics.
 A fresh look at the idea.
 The mechanics of selection without a click.
:x: I'm stupid and didn't understand what to do after lemon.
:x: And I also couldn't take a tadpole out of a puddle.
I like the idea, simple but effective! Art style is on point, lovely 2d assets in a 3d world have something very charming. Also nice music which sets in the game's atmosphere.
I had some performance issues on my computer though. I don't have a discrete graphics card so the game ran around ~10fps. I'm not sure if your engine would allow you to make it run better though. Also, if possible, please make the game available on other platforms or as a web version! As a workaround I used Wine to run it on Linux, but this does not always work well with all games.
Anyway, this game really stands out, I liked it a lot! Great job from both creators!
Great game! I loved the graphics, and your concept and response to the theme was a great idea! I did take a while to figure out what I was supposed to do to in response to him wanting to get close to the fire (I kept trying to find a way to bring the fire to him somehow) and there was a time where I had a lemon in my inventory but it wouldn't let me give it to the kid when he was talking about fruits and vegetables. Other than that though, I thought this was a really good game, and I liked it! Well done!
@eoshadows Oh no! Sorry your lemon was bugged, and appreciate the heads up! The trick with him being cold (and I think it's safe to say it's a little obscure, so this hint might need to have been more clear) is that he's anemic, which causes dizziness and feeling cold. So, the thing to do is bring him iron powder from the kitchen. Originally we were going to have a minigame where you literally scrape the iron off a pan, but it was cut for time, which I think makes this puzzle way more confusing. Again, thanks for playing and the detailed feedback!
Loved the art! Good take on the theme. Grabbing leaches glitched out when I tried to run it with Sandboxie. Had fun playing on stream!
Love this artstyle sick stuff lol, I though the music was nice and the idea hilarious
@jitspoe Thank you so much for playing! Sorry about the leech glitch, glad you were able to catch one of those slippery little guys anyway.
neat little game, the graphics were really nice!
@nuclearchair thank you so much! You were the last rating we needed to get 20 !!
Here I am, as promised. The art style is simply beautiful, and the music fits the game really nicely. It was fun to play. I wish there were even more treatments, but I do get it takes time to draw and implement them. Great job with the game!
@zimny11 Thank you so much for playing, and the thoughtful feedback!
Really really fantastic art style, and the music went along with it perfectly!
Had a fun little experience playing this. I got stuck pretty early on, couldn't figure out the hand fishing minigame thing, but had a good time and the characters made me smile!
VERY good use of the theme too, definitely felt like I was just delaying the inevitable
Really love the background story, the art its amazing, and how you combine 2D and 3D elements, the game have a great future if you polish a little bit.
came here from lavendertwone on youtube, the one that made the art! Cant wait to play this, it looks fun
Beautiful art! The music is very nice too. It also fits the theme nicely, in a way I didn't see done yet. I was a bit confused by the leech minigame. It also felt quite easy to just pick up all the random stuff in the kitchen and shoving it all on the boy without really trying to figure out what's the right thing, maybe using the wrong thing could have harmed him instead?
Great job making the game, especially considering it was one of the team members first LD :).
How do I play it i can't open it
It's really hard to take out leech. Sound and visual are great! Good entry!
Very charming if grim. I enjoy the aesthetic a great deal. The mini games are cute, would be nice to see ones for the other items you get as well if there is a post jam build.
