That was fun! I love the theme, it works really well. The artwork is really damn cute and it plays really well. The only criticism I have is its hard to make proper buildings... I kinda ended up just stacking them and hoping :sweat_smile: Really great game, well done!!!

Damn that was fun! The walking sim part was a bit slow but the humour was fun and the theme worked really well. The last part was really fun! Challenging but not too hard. The graphics were nice and the music (esp at the end) was really good.

The graphics are great! I didn't make it that far because I was confused about managing the bars to avoid meltdown, and the controls of both the robots, but the graphics are really clean, the theme works and the puzzle aspect seems cool, so well done.

I really love the graphics and the whole theme and mood of the game, it looks really good! I totally agree that its a bit too hard and the jumping could be more forgiving, but the new level design in the post-jam version helps out a lot. If you just didn't get pushed upwards if you clip the edge of the next platform and if the hitbox for hitting the animals was a little smaller then that system would be great. When the lights go out, its a good range to be able to jump platform to platform in time, just not avoiding obstacles like the snake in the jam version. Otherwise, its a good solid game and I love the artstyle!

It's a really smart idea, and a really different take on the theme, even if it was a bit abstract within the game. For the collection levels, it was a bit too easy to run around and grab them all before getting hit, but the kill levels were fun when you got to use your many different weapons. Changing the world after every level was really interesting, but the notes were a bit confusing or overly technical. Instead, maybe instead of something like "player speed +10%" it could say something like "player speed increased (+10%)". It's a subtle change but for the text like enemy gravity +5% or glitch +7, it was hard to understand what the impact was. Also, when loading into a new level, the text stays up while enemies are moving, so it might be helpful to pause time while that text is up. Overall, a really cool and innovative idea, and a helluva lot of work for just a couple days. Well done!

This game is great! The puzzles are really really good fun, and way too smart for me :sweat_smile: Love the visuals, it looks really great. Ideally the puzzles would be a bit easier at the start (I got stuck on the third level) and the white blocks are a little hard to see. Otherwise, this is a great game, well done!

I like the concept, its just a bit hard due to the unresponsiveness of the handles, etc., which make it a bit frustrating. Also the hitboxes for the handles and stuff could be bigger to make it a bit easier. I think my highscore was about 3 :sweat_smile: Really nice graphics, and I love the music too, its a tune. Well done!

Almost full 5 stars apart from the theme though, I get that maybe the genre is unstable but it seems a bit abstract. Well freaking done.

I really liked it! The idea is neat and allows for really interesting levels, and having multiple routes through each level with the different characters is cool. I would maybe like the interval between moving to be a bit faster but otherwise the movement is good. Its a bit frustrating to randomly get a new character that leaves you stuck, and maybe that could be helped by knowing which character you get next? Either with a set loop (red->blue->yellow) or by a little icon showing you the next one. Also, I found the yellow character quite annoying when you had no option but to wait or walk off the edge. I really liked that the faster you completed the last level, the more time you had for the next, that was really smart. The music was actually low-key a banger too, and I loved the artstyle and different expressions, I just wish some of the expressions were better defined (it was hard to see some of them) and I wish there was more of a tutorial on the different powers each character had. The mechanics are really smart, and the levels were really well designed. Really good job!

@player-2 I kinda completely forgot about the whole line clear thing... :sweat_smile: but now you mention it thats a great idea! I'll try and include that in the post-jam version if I get time. The reason they don't perfectly line up is a problem with Unity physics and mesh collider generation, but I'm going to try and work out a fix for it. And of course I'll add music, I just ran out of time during the jam.

The graphics are quite clear and it would've been nice to have a closer view to appreciate them. It's kind of hard to tell what's happening as a result of your actions, and the idea of maintaining the chaos doesn't really mesh well with the theme. I understand that it's unstable as the board can spiral out of control, but its not exactly clear. As a second Ludum Dare though, it's pretty impressive! Well done.

I love the concept, the idea of an unstable atom is really interesting and including the chains in a way of sort of levelling up the atom. My biggest criticism is that it was actually quite hard to grow as an atom. I would've loved it if the spawn rate of the alpha and beta particles would've been much higher, so that there was less waiting around for them. I spent a lot of the game just waiting for the particles to appear, and then missing them due to the somewhat unavoidable hand. I liked how you incorporated the noise of a geiger counter in the game, and even if the main music loop was repetitive, it was better than no music.

Really cool little concept, well done on your first game jam! The theme is a bit abstract but its a fun game to sink time into. I would maybe suggest that to make it a bit easier I would have set frequencies so that you jump from one frequency to the other in set intervals to make it easier to match your frequency with the incoming one. Good job!
