@herlex: Sorry, I got interrupted halfway through publishing 😅 Up now!
Thanks! All in all great game :) Love the artwork concept
Thanks!
really beautiful and with such a cool idea too, you my dude are a good game developer
Really cute game! And a great idea on the theme too. The scoring, what is just the number of rounds survived? I found it a bit confusing if there was something more to it. Like maintaining a fancy structure between the rounds. It wasn't either entirely clear what the exposed condition of the pig was to me. Just a short explanation for confused people like me would have helped. I really liked the humor in it. The way the wolf ran out of air and was jumping back and forth!
Very well made!
Thanks!!
@local-minimum: Yep, rounds survived. We had something more involved/strategic in mind initially but couldn't really figure out anything that worked, so went for chaotic survival instead 🐷
I lose a lot because I wasn't fast enough !! but I really enjoyed it ! You made a lovely work.
That was fun! I love the theme, it works really well. The artwork is really damn cute and it plays really well. The only criticism I have is its hard to make proper buildings... I kinda ended up just stacking them and hoping  Really great game, well done!!!
Thank you two!
very cool!!.really great idea
Super cute gaame and very well done! The pigglet story works excellent with the theme. The game mechanic works great and love the huffing and puffing. Well done!
super amazing graphics I loved the animations too but the idea is hilarious and that's a good thing good entry :blue_heart:
It's a great idea but I wish I had more parts and more time to build against a stronger wolf.
Maybe i didnt get far enough into the game, but i think it would be cool if the wolves came from both directions. Also, it would add to the strategy if only the blocks directly in front of the wolves breath would be pushed, and the rest stayed still unless acted on by another block, that way the strategy isnt just put the blocks as far to the left as possible. All in all I very much enjoyed the game, thanks for your entry :)
Thanks, everyone! Wolves from all sides was part of the original idea but I didn't end up implementing it, but would definitely have been fun to try.
This is a clever take that stands apart from a lot of attempts at a similar mechanic. Only issue is it's so fast it's hard to really engage with the mechanics, though this is partly because I was using a touchpad.
very interesting mechanic and take on the theme. the fact that you used a well known fairy tail as the base made it really easy to understand what was going on. I wish you had more time or control over re-building the house though as It felt like the ideal way to play was to just build a thick stack of bricks away from the edge as fast as possible
Excellent presentation! Very clean and well done! Enjoyed it and got to 11 :D
I didn't understand how to rotate things but I liked your artstyle!
Super cute! Lovely graphics and sound and great use of the theme incorporating it with the Three Little Pigs story. Gets pretty intense after a while, almost stressing me out :P.
Thank you all! 💜 Agree that you end up just building stacks rather than an actual house, I felt that was fine in and of itself but I guess it's a bit of false advertising the way it's presented 😅
@erikengineengineer: The instructions might be confusing, they mean you can use *either* the left arrow key, *or* the A key, *or* the Q key (for AZERTY keyboards) to rotate anti-clockwise, and either the right arrow key or the D key to rotate clockwise. c:
an elegant and polished game, very well done! I don’t really have a much to say tbh, it’s very polished which is great and I have to say I loved the theme too, taking the classic story-tale of the three pigs and making a game which actually fits the theme really well!
Only thing I will note, though, is that I think this would work better as a non endless game, as a game where there’s levels, and each level the wolf could return an X amount of times, and the focus being more on utilizing the pieces long enough that you survive each level.
I understand though this was a game jam and honestly for a game jam the endless game approach is probably the best [it’s what I did too! :p], I’m just saying if you ever plan to expand the game, I think the level approach would be better!
All in all a short, greatly polished, and creative game! [final score was 7, btw]
Thank you! Yeah, endless is easier to pull off for a jam 😅
