First, I want to say that your entry is my favorite so far. I really like this experience because I did the same project a few weeks ago - a raymarching exploration game. I stopped my first idea because I could not fix a problem about the float precision - and you did. Raymarching is an incredible method in order to create some beautiful infinite worlds - and yours is so quiet and ethereal. You managed the theme using an unusual interpretation, playing guitar like an artist. A few years ago, NuChan made something more or less similar with his game Void Light (available on Itch.io) and your game reminds me of this project. You deserve more good ratings. You should rate other entries if you want to receive some reviews. Thank you for this experience. I wish you the best ++

PS : just for information. Your project can be compiled under the latest Unity version. You use an very older Unity version. Why?

@geckoo1337 thanks for the kind words! I will try to rate a lot of games in the coming days, just have been kind of swamped with work and a lot of other stuff. As for the Unity version, I was just lazy to update my Unity from the version I used before :D

@tygrak It's a shame that you are in the Danger zone. Your game is technically impressive. I wish you the best ++

Amazing experience, the wonderfully coloured fractal landscapes matched well with the chill guitar vibes, and I love the story of delivering to a far away galaxy. Would have loved to see more landscapes with motion, like the bubbles, but it was a good length as it was.

Amazing visuals with music that compliments them perfectly. Dug the story and the whole mood had a great time. Helped that I felt like I'd taken a bunch of drugs.

One thing I would have liked was a slightly faster movement speed.

Great visuals & music like others said. I wish there were more "game" elements to it. Very nice experience overall gg!

Really amazing visuals, I don't have much to add other then other comments I agree that it needs a few more gamy aspects. But as is its a very fun experience

I really enjoyed the strange worlds and the music, which combined for a very pleasant experience. I appreciated the timeout for getting lost and letting me warp to the next area. It might have been nice if there was some way to actually find the wormholes on your own, though. I think I only managed to find three of them.

I don't know where I went, but it sure was a trip. The "press F to warp to next warp point" is a great idea to keep players from getting lost.

A great game with a reference to the works of Liu Cixin, i really enjoed the atmosphere.

jelch 2023-05-18 13:23

Very enjoyable worlds. It was easy to get lost- I pretty much just moved around until I could press 'F'. I wonder if there is some way you could use color to guide the player? ie always move towards red or warm colors? Cool game!

20 ratings. You did it ++

python-b5 2023-05-19 20:27

This definitely deserves more than 21 ratings. I enjoyed it a lot---very relaxing to play. The music does well to set the mood. I found some of the areas more interesting than others, but had fun exploring all of them. At first I didn't realize that when I was told to press F there would be a wormhole somewhere near me, so I ended up exploring the first few areas several times over until I stumbled upon the wormhole by accident, before I figured it out properly. Great work on this!

On a side note, I think I have some new wallpapers now...
