@QwaKlak Sorry you have played the broken old version. If you try the new version everything should work. You interact with objects using E, for example in the first room there is a button with "1" written on it. If you press it, it opens a door next to it.
Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.
I think the sheer ambition of this is commendable. No one was really leaving helpful notes though :). I didn't get very far, I think the puzzles need more work which is understandable because trying to make good puzzles in 48 hours is always going to be very difficult. The note mechanic seems like it could be neat but the notes can be pretty hard to read and it seems like the blind leading the blind a lot.
Very cool idea and execution. House is pretty small and there isn't much puzzles but it's understandable due to time limitation. Anyway game is pretty fun to play and notes are really adding to the experience. Would be cool to see this idea expanded.
BTW i left one troll note next to the doors to basement. I hope it will make someone's playthrough a little bit spicy ;)
I like this, gives me a vibe inbetween The Room and Penumbra and I think it would be very close if you added some better models and textures. Great effort for such a short time and very nice idea with the notes!
Also, damn you @Zeriver for making me avoid the basement :)
Really cool concept, I couldn't figure out how to open the door upstairs so I didn't get far but I liked reading the notes people had left. I somehow accidentally made a note floating in mid-air.
@Zeriver I saw that note, why would you do something like that? xD
This is cool! How did you make it so that notes people leave are viewable in games other people play? This is some groundbreaking stuff to me, even if I couldn't figure out the door combination :D
@tedajax Thank you! Too bad you were one of the first people that played it, now there are even some helpful notes. (also some that dont help at all :D)
@Zeriver Thanks! I saw your notes, seems that everyone enjoyed the one next to the basement.
@mihaivdev Thank you! I have tried creating the game without using any textures to save time and also try out how it looks. I have expected it to look worse :D.
@akai_0okami Thanks, yep that's the number one thing I should fix, leaving notes in walls and in the air (I dont know how you did that though :D).
@Mottafier Thanks. It isnt that hard, I have a really simple php website with a database that saves and downloads the notes and their positions.
@Tygrak It seems to happen when you're crouching and facing downwards. I remember being crouched the first time so I went back and tried making another note in a different area while crouching and looking down and the note appeared in mid-air again, if that's any help.
