I was a bit confused as to which portal the items would come from. Nonetheless cool game and cool music :D

edudd22 2024-04-16 15:24

@unbreakable Thanks for playing, we sadly didn't have enough time to add that.

merb1000 2024-04-16 15:56

I second the other commenter, it would be *really* helpful to know which items come from which entry portal, as well as which direction the portal is facing. You have the makings of a good game here, it just needs some more polish.

anton-florey 2024-04-16 16:02

I agree, the levels with multiple portals are a bit confusing. Best part of your game is the music! I love it :D And I think I broke your game in lvl 2. You can create an infinite belt-loop and whats your order spin around indefinitely.

jackofcups 2024-04-16 16:07

Really appreciated the little touches like the unique main menu and the little poster with the hand crushed in gears. I love the steampunk aesthetic so that was cool. Created an infinite loop out of curiosity and thought I had broke the game! Then I realized you can hit escape and restart. Was able to divine which portal dispensed which items by considering which exit portal would be harder to reach. Soundtrack was obviously off the chain. I enjoyed it enough to play every level! So nice work.

baluj 2024-04-16 16:19

The highlighted conveyor belts cannot be turned in any direction, this confuses me. And I don't know why I thought that what came out of the portal of one color must enter through another of the same color. For everything else, it is a good game.

edudd22 2024-04-16 17:17

@merb1000 @anton-florey @jackofcups @baluj Big thanks for taking the time to play the game and to comment your feed back :hearts:

stanov 2024-04-16 19:14

The graphics must took a lot of time to create!

There is a song in the menu, I adore that!

It is hard to see which of the belts are moveable. Also some of them are restricted to the directions.

Thank you for stopping by at my stream!

Was a good time! Fun little puzzles, I'd be intrigued to see how far you could push the concept outside of jam constraints too. Hats off to the tunes!!!

konstantinreed 2024-04-18 10:29

Throughout the game, I couldn't shake the feeling that I've played this before. And indeed, in Factorio, I spent a lot of time solving similar puzzles, lol. Perhaps it's worth making portal pairs with matching colors to make it immediately obvious where to build the conveyor. Good job.

jaxah 2024-04-18 19:55

Great conveyor puzzle game, building up and ending with a bang! Not enough levels! More audio was needed, and potentially more portals for a more complex route. Also, teleportation portals to add chaos to the mix something extra to the conveyor system for a more tricky level. Great work, and well done!

Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (with a chapter for your game)

@ategon thank you for playing and yeah of course, go ahead!

justcamh 2024-04-19 14:49

Banger theme song! The last level was actually pretty neat how it forced you along a really long path where on the surface the level seemed simple

There were some odd hiccups (items not moving sometimes) and, as other mentioned by other comments, it was a bit difficult to remember from which portal the items came. Regardless, fun game, especially the song in the final level! Love it when developers give their jam games a personal touch like that :)

nsadie 2024-04-19 19:33

Fun factory style game! I wasn't really sure which items would come out of which portals, but it is easy enough to find out. I would add a fast forward and a reset button, but otherwise nice!

schwede 2024-04-19 20:32

Thanks for tuning into the stream and contributing!

Would you like to work in a post office? Then you're in the right place! No package should be lost! Congratulations on the submission!

Audio is superb on every level! It's a fun concept, and definitely unique for the theme. The graphics are nice, but some of the color+text combinations don't look good, have poor readability (e.g. violet on blue).

The puzzles are not hard, but it's enjoyable to solve and play. I wish there was an end screen, when you finish level 7, showing you a summary of all the levels and stars acquired. By the way, out of curiosity, how are the stars determined (time? amount of moves?).

It's a well-made entry and feels very polished. Great jam job!

supportlik 2024-04-19 21:33

Heyya, I just watched your stream and submitted my own Game. I really enjoyed the puzzeling experience.

What I liked: - No Bugs - Nice Puzzeling Gameplay with a twist of multiple Rotating Conveyors. - Cool Level- and Riddledesign - Cool Music ;-)

What I disliked: - Kind of Blurry Graphics and the bright Color for Customer Description. - Conveyors which are grouped should be highlighted. - You dont know from which Conveyor which Item will come. So sometimes you have to start the Game in order to get the information.

Overall: Cool Experience! Keep up the good work. Enjoyed.

zimny11 2024-04-20 17:45

I got stuck in the menu... not because the game did not work, but because I was listening to the song :D Great job with the music, it is awesome. Some QoL stuff would be nice, like: - platforms that are rotated together could have same color (or small symbols), - the input portal should also show what they are going to spawn, - I know there is restart button in the pop-up menu, but R-key would be great. Anyway, it was fun to play. Well done!

blank-3d 2024-04-21 13:34

I like the concept of being the middle man of the summoning rituals a lot. Like others have mentioned, it could be clearer about linked platforms and what items come from what portal. I think making it real-time could be very interesting, as it would allow to spawn everything from a single portal and then have to redirect orders enroute. Nice entry!

tommy 2024-04-21 13:44

Nice game idea and interesting take on the theme. I appreciate a lot the 8-bit music, while the art seems to be a little bit of a mix of different styles. It's a little bit frustrating not knowing in advance the items each portal will spawn, as it means losing the level at least once just to see what is going to happen. There also seems to be a quite noticeable lag when loading the levels in the browser version.

wendel-scardua 2024-04-21 14:38

I liked the puzzles, the last level took a bit of "thinking outside the box" when I noticed the path I wanted to create wasn't possible (for a moment I was afraid it would take too long to solve it)

Other than what people already mentioned, one thing that felt a bit weird is that all rotations are counterclockwise, except when going from East to North where it turns all the other way around.

rickylee 2024-04-21 16:38

wish there were more levels ^^ love ur game 5/5 for intro song

breakfastgun 2024-04-21 19:41

Funny title song! Interesting puzzles, but it would have been nice to know what each portal was going to spawn. Great job on the game!

skvader-418 2024-04-21 21:04

Pretty fun game. I found the puzzles to be quite easy, and I played the game while being dead tired. The music was excellent. My biggest complaint is that I didn't know where the summoned items were supposed to go. In the end it was still a very fun game!

itsboats 2024-04-22 01:58

pretty cool puzzles and loved the music xD i think other comments covered the same input i would say except the pieces that rotate together could be color coded or something too

coleslaughter 2024-04-22 23:48

[Thanks for submitting your game to stream!](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2124979046?t=05h06m21s)

Despite how intimidating the last level looked, it was satisfying to find the solution for it!

tygrak 2024-04-23 12:58

Sick music!

haayaargh 2024-04-24 20:06

I reached 7th level :confetti_ball:

So it won't be a surprise if I say that the game isn't polished, but despite that it was a fine puzzle experience. By reading your responses in the comments it seems that you were aware of some problems your game had, and it was just the lack of time, which is understandable :clock:. I do encourage you finish it though

One thing I thought would perhaps be good, is the ability to rotate the conveyors when the game is running. That would allow for some dexterity challenges and varied game play.

wolfier 2024-04-27 16:36

I think it would benefit the game if you grouped all the items together, or had the level finish when the first item enters rather the the last one (when all orders are completed).

frozenfire92 2024-05-01 00:15

Good work on the jam! There were a few things that were confusing (connected tiles, the color of item requested matches portal color), but overall I was able to complete it  Keep on making games
