I played. And I had fun. Nice art and gameplay. I really like the Idea. When the deadline is over write a message to me with @nik2434 in this Chat so I can give you a good rating.🙂
@relixes I FOUND A BUG. When you pick up a cat and it is in the near of the platform it is in the platform and sticks there. But when you touch a ring it still disappears and gives you points.B0F46117-050A-4B73-A68E-C80422C69270.pngD9AA59C9-4FC0-475D-86E0-C67C67563E69.png LOOK CLOSE UNDER THE CHARACTER
@nik2434 thankyou for the feedback! I will look into this bug.
I told you in the itch.io page, but I can tell you here anyway. I really like the game idea and the graphics
Pretty cool idea, I'm not really sure if there is sacrificing somewhere, but the game is really fun and mechanics are quite interesting:)
Greetings @erendelous, thank you for playing my game and feedbak! :D
In the game you play as a farmer who needs to save his animals who got stuck into balloons and went flying. You may not be able to save them all since you have a weight limit on you own balloon, so maybe sacrifices must be made ;)
@relixes Oh, I see. Thanks fo the explanation:)
it's fun! good job!
The visuals and music remind me of old school games. I LOVE IT!
Love the vibe of this, and how you can shove the cats off the platform.
Took me a minute to understand the bird and how the rings work, fun game!
I love it. Great simple artwork witha fun concept. You used the them very well and the music was good too.
SAVE THE DOUGS
Neat art, neat concept.
Simple concept but fun and addicting! I love that it's also playable on mobile as well!
hahaha... funny game. I loved the graphics and the gameplay is awesome too. Good job.
Great work! First off, the aesthetics are very appealing. Specifically, the muted color palette makes the game look charming and cute. The gameplay is simple to learn on the surface, but gets more complex as more animal weights are presented. I didn't want to push my hard-earned cows off the platform, but I had to in order to save the entire platform from falling. I'd say you really nailed the theme! Speaking of themes, the theme song that plays in the background suits the game nicely. Choosing a waltz was a good choice, it fit the whimsical mood of the entire scenario perfectly. I didn't encounter any bugs during my play sessions. Something that could improve is if the weight was represented with some lights on the platform instead of a number. The lights could go from green to yellow to red to indicate how much weight is on the platform. That way, you can have more space to show the score so the player can see it better at a glance. That's just a nit picky suggestion though, so if that's my only suggestion then I'd say you did pretty well!
Good job! This game is very simple and fun.
@malghoul Thanks, I used the nes pallet and 8 bits sounds, I love retro like games. (:
@twopm Thanks! I wanted to make a tutorial to the game but a choose not to put text-tutorials to keep the "retro" vibe to the game (learn by playing)
@tomcat94 Thank you for the feedback! I see you really undertood the felling I tryed to put in the game hahahaha The music was actually made from a procedural-music-generator, I just entered some random values and tweked some parameter and got this nice tune! I REALLY liked the idea about the "colored" platformer, will mostly certain to put it on the game on the next update. Thank you very much for taking your time for such detailed feedback! (:
@secretmapper, @maycon, @evilsock, @zircon123 and @deathbysnail Thanks for the feedback! <3
Wow, what music generator did you use? I didn't even realize it was generated. I'd love to use that in a future project! And no problem, I'm glad the feedback helped!
@tomcat94 Awesome, right? Check for Abundant Music on google!
I Just heard about this program during the jam too, easy to use and really useful for jams!
cool and platformy. music/sfx pretty loud. love the concept!
Great art and feel. Maybe adding a small and big jump for tapping and holding jump might help you feel more in control of the platform. Fun game.
By far my favorite out of the 4 or so games I've played, I really like it!
Really cool concept. Congratulations, it is very well made!
Looks nice, mechanics are simple yet they are joined very well for an entertaining game. Love how simple the controls are. Congrats!
Fun little idea, the animals being able to jump off themselves is a bit annoying if you had to give up something just to get them on the platform. It wasn't clear if the enemy would heart the farmer or his balloons. Being able to control the platform more could have added more risk and reward.
Ahh, this is adorable. Love the super-retro presentation, it reminds me of like, C64. Enjoyed the use of the theme as well -- pushing kitties off the platform is simultaneously cathartic and horrifying. Well done!
I love the graphics/sound, certainly hit the feeling you were going for (unless you were trying to make a modern AAA shooter). I found the gameplay a bit... fiddly for lack of a better term. It was a bit annoying that I could push the cats off and a lot of the time I was trying to collect them before they were even over the platform (cause, you know, gotta catch em all). But those are just things I would have done differently, you did great!
simple and interesting, music is good
Vary fun! Nice game! I like it.
Fun simple game with compatible music that creates the feel of old arcade games. The gif of the game did help explain how the game worked but I generally feel the explanation should have been within the game itself, but since this is a browser game it should be fine.
nice game! Wasn't sure if the weight to break my own platform was consistent, since it seemed to vary between plays.
Played it on web- simply a fun game! It took me 2 plays to figure out the birds pop your balloons, but maybe I'm a bit dense. Good, consistent pixel art that is well polished. Smooth and enjoyable soundtrack.
Simple game. Lot of fun. It doesn't really work well with the theme but that doesn't matter. Overall it's really simple and really effective concept. And plus points for mobile version. Good job :)
A simple and super fun little game. The music and graphics was super. Well done.
nice game! easy to pickup and have fun!
would be awesome if you could throw animals down the platform - so accidentally picking up the third elephant is not certain doom :P
@relixes it's sort of genius! Nice game!
I quite liked this game. The game has a nice style and some nice background music. It's a simple game quite well executed. I do like that you can push off the animals yourself what I _don't_ like however is that the animals have a tendency to just walk off the platform on their own accord. Quite irritating seen as I suffer through no real fault of my own. But otherwise it's a fun little game. Thanks for making it :)
I liked this game :) It's fresh and relaxing. I want to see more and more big animals as I play, congratulations for this :)
Really enjoyable game! One of those simple concepts that makes you think "how did nobody come up with this already?" Nice graphics and it's really quite addictive! Well done!
Ooh this is cute. Great take on the theme. I really like the color and simple pixel art style.
This was really fun! It felt very polished, but the player felt a bit floaty. Overall, great game!
Love the simplicity and how fun it is!
Very fun and addictive gameplay. Highscore was 24. Simple and good looking art, really enjoyed it. Keep it up!
I liked the mechanics of the game, but I had to stop when I kept watching the cats fall from my platform. Fun game! (except losing the animals, that was sad)
man you killed with this color scheme, the gameplay is simple yet satisfying, hahaha i think i'll be comming back to this game more than i should haha the sound effects are also on point.
Graphics look amazing and is really fun to play too. Great job!
Lovely artstyle...I like the 8 bit aesthetic...
Great fun and easy to play~
I really enjoy it. Artstyle, sounds and main idea are simple but good for this game. At first I started to kill animals and later I realized what I need to save them.
Very cool little game! Its easy to learn and addictive to play, Congratulations to the team!
Nice gameplay!
Very simple, but with a very solid level design. The music fitted with mood :) I got 18 HS.
OMG, so much lovely feedbacks! <3 There's too many for me to be able to comment one by one right now, but thank you everyone for your kind words!
I really really enjoyed the game:) It actually felt nice and kinda like of laid back game :) Such a cute entry! I mean yeah cats still falls and pigs still flies
I love this one! The pixel art is very cute and clean! Good job!
The red and green could be flipped to be a bit more traditional, and I feel helpless when there are poor balloon-tethered cats underneath the platform, but otherwise it's a neat and very original arcade experience. :)
As I said on stream as well, really nice and self-contained game. It would work well as a minigame and I enjoyed it thoroughly :)
Your game was played on my stream ( twitch.tv/ursagames ) for the second day of Ludum Dare streams - you can find the timestamp of your game here: https://goo.gl/N2rkr8
Love your game! Very simple and fun! Congrats! <3
One Concept I Liked: * The unique gameplay was fun to play as it challenged the player and the game was not too hard or too easy. The difficulty of the game felt just right.
One Concept I Disliked: * Due to the unique gameplay, it was especially important for this game to have a good tutorial. Unfortunately, this game's tutorial did not have much information on the game's rules. You should not only describe what the controls do, but you should also describe all the mechanics in the game which the average player would not know when first playing this game.
@d-studios Thank you for your feedback!
As for the tutorial, I don't like written tutorials, they really upset me! I prefer those games that teaches you with visual cues and level design. With that in mind I designed the game like the oldschool ones where most people (I believe) can learn the rules very quickly with 1 or 2 plays.
