I really liked this mechanic, it was a lot of fun.
I did run into some fun bugs after restarting the level, though :)

Really nice game! Catchy music, cool sound design (you made your sounds with your mouth, isn't it ?), and funny mood overal! I had quite a lot of fun playing this entry. The comic-like intro was cool too :)
also got the multiple spawn glitch, and sometimes just driving around with a barely lifted neck would just randomly kill me lol aside from that, this game had me playing it for a while. the puzzles were really fun and unique. Great job
Thanks for all the ratings! @monkeybit29 @mandarad how did you manage to make that bug happen? I'm thinking it could be something with level reloading (?), but im not really sure because that certainly should not have happened. @raivk thanks, the "mouth-made" sounds were made by @walkanfl and i made the rest of them by torturing my keyboard and a pen.
@bajtix Yup, it was on level reload after pressing the R key.
what a great concept! I didn't do so well at first, but with a bit of persistence, I found the game to be quite entertaining. The graphics are really nice too. congrats on a solid entry into the jam.
Really cool game idea. I also liked the art/animations at the start of the game!
Hilarious concept, loved the Jerma references. Some of the levels were pretty frustrating but rewarding. Nice work!
cool concept! looks nice too, got that OG playstation feel
Thanks, @cheesepencil , @matt-lowe @almighty-games and @picross !
this robot reminds me of my cat when it crashes into walls)
Is that a jojo's reference?
That's nice entry! I like the robot's design and overall mood, though on web build it seems to be a little darker than one would expect. Perhaps the level design could be less unforgiving, seems like you need to try too hard to beat some )
interesting idea but sometimes I don't know why my robot breaks down
Fun puzzle mechanic. I died a few times in the second level just driving off the platform. I think the body was hitting the head as it jumped up the little bump.
Good work.
Very clever mechanics in your game ! I had a lot of fun during my playthrough, congrats !
This game is awesome. Really clever gameplay. I don't understand why I die here though. Gave cheese and pushed the button.rat_king.jpg
Thanks for the ratings! I'll answer some of the comments in this one.
@mighty-mufflon-games That's a weird bug which for some reason only happens in the built versions. I guess it's because of the execution order but if you don't lower your neck 100% it does not occur. I've tried but haven't managed to fix that, thanks for the bug report.
@xeke-death yup, that's basically it although it's a little more complex than that.
@kpded I think i screwed up the bugfixed web build, but now they all should look the same. You are right that some levels are hard, but making the correct difficulty curve was really hard because there was not much time left for level design, so first I designed the levels and then I tried to sort them by difficulty.
@atinybean yes.
@maybeagoose well I do not own a cat, but I am not sure if cats are supposed to act this way so you might want to contact a vet.
Clever idea! The actual game is a little wonky, I had to try many times to get the ramp to work. A neck retracting button would be nice, because it can be tricky to suck it back up accurately. I dig the boss battle and theme song :)
@madbarron thanks for all the feedback! I actually planned on making a neck retract button, but the game became a little too easy. The ramp was also a major issue, I spent several hours just trying to get this level to work as it was very important to teach the mechanics. I managed to do so it falls correctly about 70% of the time, but I know that physics can get a little janky, so that still happens.
Love the graphics! Using the robot's neck was a really clever mechanic. Great entry! <3
Really liked the level of polish you put into the game - from the little intro comic to the loading screen, all nice little touches. I really liked the neck mechanic too but I wish it was a little more sensitive/forgiving when changing directions because I found myself getting stuck in little squares (if you get what I mean) pretty often. Nice work!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the style, @conduit
@sleepystudios you are right, it should be a little more forgiving, it was pretty hard finding the balance between frustrating and easy. It can't be too ease after all, am I right? I tried experimenting with higher values, but that's what I went with, although you are right about it being more to the "frustrating side"
The last level is all kinds of gloriously ridiculous
I enjoyed the mechanics - it turns out that playing around with a robot's neck is fun! Who knew. I only met a few minor bugs. Most interestingly, sometimes the neck extended and left the head behind (happened mostly in the last level when picking up a box), but it always snapped back into place. On the first level, the ramp sometimes falls strangely - just flat on the ground next to the hill it was supposed to fall on. It's also quite a deadly ramp - it killed me more than once :)!
Graphics are quite cool, and the intro comic is a nice touch. Colors could use some rework, so our robot hero distinguishes himself more from the dull brown/gray rocky background. The "wooo hooo" sound is my personal favorite.
I was quite surprised when one of the after death loading screens talked to me in Polish  Question remains: was it on purpose or did I encounter some leftover placeholder.
In any case, it's a nice jam job!
Really fun concept. I like how you approached the theme. The game looks and plays great. I really like the funny ded message. Great work.
@fabula-rasa thank you! Yeah, I'm currently trying to fix the head deattachment bug, It's a pretty tough one to patch tho, not sure if the player should just die in that situation or I should try and prevent that from happening. The loading screen was something that @walkanfl insisted on adding, it is a reference to the song *Cypis - Gdzie jest biały węgorz* aka the polish cow song, he also made a cover of it but i refused to add it lol.
