An interesting idea, too few consider the feelings of necromancers and their bony minions. It has a lot of a typical cartoon or comic disaster date, although it would be better with some dialogue referring to the situation.
Sometimes it seems a bit arbitrary which answers satisfy her and there is sadly no rating at the end or an actual ending at all. It'd be nice to be able to leave the table to the left side or to walk through the dating zone without automatically getting back into conversation. Some sounds for striking and hitting could help.
Congrats on your submission!
Suggestions: - Please add controls explanations either here on the page or in the tutorial, they are not obvious: it took me a while to figure out that you can control character with arrows and attack with space, but you can do that only after closing dialog box. - Closing (exiting) a dialog and switching to a battle mode might be activated by movement arrows - it would be very convenient. - Adding an "intro skip" function would be nice. - Also having some score or a timer would be nice - to track your personal improvements and/or compare yourself to others. - If you decide to continue with the game after LD, it would be nice to have some sort of shop to spend points earned on upgrades, buffs, debuffs... or buying bouquet for your girl to gain some "interest" in case the date goes wrong... you are a necromancer after all...
Anyway, I'm in love with your stylish pixel art and animation, and with overall game feel.

Hehe, Funny entry. The concept is very nice, but I'd have appreciated something like a score screen when you die or some ways to get points. Graphics are really cool also. The attack animation have different collisions depending on which way you're attacking, and it can be a bit frustrating. Anyway, good job! :)
Very nice! Lovely art style, I liked the soundtrack(s), and obviously the premise is rather funny.
I agree with @MaxKlimenok regarding possible improvements, and would add to maybe remove the collision - it's a bit weird to get blocked by the date zone when you just want to run to the other side to beat up some minions. And is there actually a way to win the game? Maybe you should start with the "interest-meter" in the middle, and filling it up concludes the date.
All in all very well done, certainly one of the better entries, and very much in line with the theme.
The gameplay isn't that interesting in its current state, but the theme is great. A necromancer on a date is a theme that could definitely make it into a commercial game.

I'm amazed that you only recieved 8 ratings so far. Great idea! executed very well too. I would've liked to see a variety of enemies but that always can be added on later + different ladies with different personalities.
Gr8 game!! Great entry!
My dating skills need some polishing! I could not complete the game, I once was going for like 10 min but in the end there were to many minions and to little time! Would like too have some idea of how far you have gotten, and maybe the amount to finish and complete the game is to high, cause playing for 10 min on the date without knowing if you're close to win or not, is not rewarding!

The setting of the game is amazing and very original. The art is perfect also great music and create a perfect ambience. The mix of genres is great and well implemented. What can i say, i really like this game!
great job!
Great job! A good take on the theme. The art is really wonderful. It took me a while to figure out I had to close the dialog box myself, though once I got it I had a lot of fun!
Nice and cute entry. The mix between dating and chasing your enemies works pretty well. Like some others said, it could be nice to have a score in the end. Good job! :)

Very nice entry. I'll echo a couple of other people's feedback: - Some VFX and SFX for attacking the enemies would go a long way to make the game feel crunchier. - A score / progress meter to monitor how far you got into the date would make the game feel like it had a more concrete goal.
All that said, I think you did a great job! The art style is fantastic! The pixel art is really well done. The chiptune music also fits the game very well, I especially liked the music when you exited the date and went to go fight minions. I also liked that there was actual reason/rationale to losing/gaining interest (keeping your answers consistent = success. Contradiction = failure). Great work!

Never thought of something like that. It's interesting concept, some of the questions I tried to answer with my own personality or of my own experience haha, but still it's hard to remember all the answers.
It took me a while to realize I had to close the message box to be able to move around, though.
Good entry!

I kid you not, my teammates wanted to make an dating simulator that involved the undead.... Maybe next time for us but you! Great job! I love the graphics and the audio too. The one thing that I think could improve things the most would be *diagonal movement* That would have really helped smooth out the fighting portion of the game. All in all, fantastic job!

A very good entry for a 72 hour jam. Well done.
Very nice concept , maybe lacked a little feedback but overall it worked pretty well. Good-looking graphs, Funny dialogues, good soundtrack. Yes, a pretty nice entry overall.
nice artwork, interesting combination. nice fitting music, gameplay is probably the weakest part. the multitasking thing is good and trying to remember the right answers is good, just the combat is a bit too simplistic perhaps, and with no way to win its hard to keep the interest. Still a fun entry for a little while.

Really well made! I like the idea but got bored rather quickly. Would be interested to see where you take this. As others have said: overall the feel of the game is great and has a lot of potential, just keep finding ways to make it more interesting! :)
