I really love how this game looks and the idea of going down the well is cool as well (*cough*). I actually didn't understand at wirst that I could still move the character after falling out of the bucket. When I understood it, it became a bit easier. But still very challenging! Fare well!
Great, what it does it does well. It supports many forms of traversal and probably has a high skill ceiling. It would make a great mobile game, I think.

Very cute idea! I love the whole barrel down a well thing. I wish it went down a *little* slower. I'm kind of old and struggled to keep up with the speeds. I think it could open up the game to more ideas, like upgrading your bucket with a turret or shield or things like that. Couldn't beat lv4.
Other than game speed being a problem for slow-mo-me, good job!
@ismael-rodriguez Thanks for the speed feedback. If I had more time, I would have definitely made an easy/hard mode. I also wanted to make an unlimited mode, but didn't get to that either unfortunately.
Really fun game with a lot of different mechanics and a really inventive system. I see this having potential to be a full fledged thing. I found it hard to beat Level 3 (and I didn't) but that didn't take away from the enjoyment I had here. Can't wait to see what you do next!

Nice simple concept, well executed.
I found the controls confusing initially, and playing on PC any time Im asked to use X and Z to do things thats immediately weird. But thats a personal preference.
The graphics and audio were solid, really nice pixel presentation.

Fantastic music and art! The colors were especially on point.
Everything about the bucket mechanics I loved, but to me the movement and randomness made this the opposite of fun to play. Too many frustrating situations where I was sure I would die no matter what I did. I beat it in 30 min 59s, dying 103 times :/
Was shooting or coins useful for anything?
@AfroAnt Thanks for playing! If you shoot an object, the object gets pushed away. Shooting outside of your bucket can also be used as a movement and recovery option. For example, you might shoot downwards as an extra jump.
Coins serve no purpose other than being a collectible.
As far as movement goes other valid options include wall sliding and wall jumping. Sorry if it was frustrating!
I'm not very good at it but I think its a cool take on a procedural scroller kinda game. I could see it on mobile very easily!
Great little game. The simple mechanics make it super easy to get into, but the randomized level design makes for lots of interesting game play. The controls are tight enough to feel fair, but limiting enough to be challenging. This is a game for people with good twitch reflexes. Thank you for bringing this by the stream. I love the pixel art style and your take on the theme! And I really really liked the sound and music. Had a nice feel to it. I was struggling a bit with the controls. But maybe that is just me, I never was really good at those kind of games. But also I am playing on a german keyboard that has "y" and "z" keys switched. Maybe next time you could change keys to something else, like "a" and "s" for instance. Your german fans would appreciate.

This was excellent! Nice pico8 game! I felt a little robbed by the RNG sometimes, but thats the way it goes I guess. If I am going to be picky, I would maybe get rid of the main character's inertia when you are airborne - i find that inertia never feels all that good in pico8 games. Thats just me though - the game was really superb. Definitely a pico8 highlight.

Pretty fun take on the downwell style. I like the premise. I also like how there is no health bar or anything, enemies just knock you out of your bucket. The music was oddly enjoyable and creepy.
I had a lot of fun playing this! The controls feel great, and the graphics and music are amazing. I thought it was very creative using the short range of the bucket (your safe spot) to force the player to maneuver around the playfield despite the hazards. There are so many little details that just feel so intuitive that would've been easy to overlook, like the slight gravity of coins towards the player. I do wish that there was a victory screen that showed your score rather than immediately reset, that might give players more of a challenge to try and get a higher score. But otherwise this was an amazing game!

It's a very polish and interesting game. I take time to "master" basic, probably because I am not good in this kind of game. But I take pleasure and I found the mecanic very pleasant to play with.

Challenging! Couldnt get past the rock well level, but otherwise nice, pico8-pixel artsy and fitting music too. Good work!

Honestly did not really find much wrong with this game. The graphics were simple, looked great and conveyed what they needed to. The mechanics in play were so good though. Having to jump off ballons and collect coins while dodging spike strips and even platforms as well depending on your current height was cool. I also liked how you could sort of adjust the basket and narrowly miss platforms or rocks falling. Wall sliding was also really helpful and cool lol. I kinda have mixed feelings about automatically jumping from the basket if there's something below it but it wasn't a deal breaker or anything. I felt like the player moved a little too fast in the air though, which meant I'd collide with spikes or rocks even though I was actually just trying to aim the basket. Still, this is a very fun game. Really good job on this one
Very fun arcade survival game. Reminded me of "downwell", not surprisingly. Playing on mobile with touch controls was a bit too hard for me (was hard to do a direction+shoot). I got stuck in the "circus" level.
Super great presentation, especially the font on the title screen. Something like that really sets the tone for the whole game. I thought you were being very efficient with your assets too, until I got to level 4 and saw there's whole different worlds. The difficulty in world 1 was already too hard and random though. I had a lot of trouble with level 1 then 2 and 3 were really easy. 4 was impossible. I thought the controls were too sensitive and slipper to avoid spikes, let alone 10 things flying at you. The in-air boost was really fun, but it seemed to kill me more than anything. The "best" way to play was to hide in the bucket. Music in world 1 was the best too imo!
So fun! Simple game loop with so much replayability. The mechanics took a bit to figure out, but once you get the hang of it you are hooked. Reminds me of something I'd pass-the-controller with my best childhood friend on a Saturday morning.

A really fun PICO-8 game! :D I really liked the feel of the player, and how you could keep replenishing your shot with the bucket. Just when I was thinking "I wish there was some kind of fight in this" that sequence of balloon fights happened! I think the main thing I would've wanted was some use for coins beyond trying to collect them all- perhaps some upgrade store of sorts in between floors? Regardless, I loved this entry!
Nice and fun concept! Pleasant graphics and sound effects. Pretty hard to play.
Some remarks: 1. Sound stutters in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. 2. This might be intendent, but character moves way faster out the bucket than in the bucket, so it is hard to react and control.
