I liked it! :-) It was fun... before i started eating I was super fast and felt like I was skiing. I felt like the eating slowed me down super fast. I liked riding along in the cars. Fun game

This move particle system is incredible :).
It's quite fun to play. The graphics, sound and gameplay all fit together quite nicely - sort of rough around the edges and charmingly weird. Maybe it could do with some polish but I like it the way it is.
Hey, first of all, I love the music! That was a 5/5 for me :) Even though I like pixelart, this may be a bit too monochrome and pixely for my liking. Some more time spent on the art would probably benefit the game a lot. At first, I lost interest quite quickly but I decided to give it another go after I died a few times and then it became quite fun. My best score was 1750 (which is probably terrible) and my tactic turned out to be to get a few pieces of food at and run back to stockpile it in the cave. I only collected enough to maintain speed to outrun my angry followers in the forest on my way back to the cave =) I found that eating and carrying too much made me too slow to succeed in getting back to the cave so in that sense it's totally in line with the theme. I like the idea of a map as well - at first I tried to see a "you are here" indicator but after a few rounds that wasn't needed. I also think it was good that you pointed out about the controls so obvious in the menu =) So, to summarize: Great music (!), quite fun game to play, not so great graphics. Great work though!

Could do with being a bit more zoomed out. Things move so fast it's hard to see what's coming.

@eldogg nope :D but you can go slowy from some point so they don't start follow you. Music isn't mine. By eating food zoom out but you will become bit slower

I kind of agree with @imphenzia on the pixelart, although I like the style, only the lack of animation is a missed opportunity in my opinion. Just two frames for a run would perfectly compliment your artstyle. The particles are another nice touch.
Sadly, I couldn't really figure out how to attack the humans, or if you are supposed to attack them. I tried throwing the food at them and hitting them with the car, but that didn't seem to work. Eating food replenished a bit of my health, but I was immediately hit by enemies again because I got slower, so that didn't help either.
Therefore, I think the only thing missing, is a simple attack. Running around and messing ALL the things up seems to be an excellent concept :wink:
Lovely style and nice music! Camera was a bit on the tiny size though, making dodging the cars a little harsh.
Found it fun but the music was incredibly loud. Also the throwing of food was inconsistent and I didn't really know why you would ever do that? I'd also maybe teach the controls through playing and not through a screen.

The pixel art itself could be better but I love the shadows, the perspective, colors etc. The game itself is fun too.

I am going to be in the minority here, because I really disliked the music, in fact I muted it after the first playthrough. The art style is nice and consistent, same goes for the fun animations! As for the gameplay, a bit of direction would have been better, I was not entirely sure what I was supposed to do, as the arrow kept pointing all over the place and why people are attacking and hurting me. It seemed like I was much bigger and stronger than some puny humans, especially in a larger form. What I didn't like, was that I had no way to avoid incoming attacks. Perhaps the enemies should have charged at me once spotted, but then would have a cool-down time where they don't attack and I can run away. That's also kind of a thing, I felt like I was supposed to eat the people, since I was the monster terrorizing their town. And I understand the point of the blow-up mechanic, but it felt really arbitrary. On the other hand I liked the fact that growing increased your viewarea!
We made a somewhat similar game, there you had to manage health and damage and balance it just right. In retrospect, I believe we had slightly similar issues this game has, and a million more bugs:D
Gameplay: This game is really hard! I can't seem to ride any cars, they just come for me like people and take my health. I can only ever eat a few times before I blow up, and there doesn't seem to be a way to shake off people or cars that follow you. After the first meal, you are usually so slow you can't outrun them.
Art and Music: Great music, and the art works, especially because of the great idea to add shadows. I enjoyed that more than I would have thought from the animated gifs. :)
Mood: Really fits the theme with everything getting worse the more you have. :)
Hi, I think the game concept "survival" works well with the theme. The game is really funny and a little bit addictive. However I think it would be better to define what is good or bad for the player. For example humans are black on black/grey assets. which is a little frustrating during the game cause you don't see them well. Maybe put them in color?
I would like to know how did you manage to shade the 2D elements on the ground?
The experience is still really nice, the music is really cool and reminds me of old games. but lack of color for the graphism :p
Overall, it was pretty dang good! However, I would like to see some animation, and the movement felt sort of strange for a bear.
Fun game. The visual style is great, particularly with the shadows. I would nitpick that the perimeter trees are too neatly arranged, staggering them would look more consistent as well as help to close off the play area more visually.
At first I didn't think the music fits but it grows on you. Gameplay wise, it can be difficult to gauge where the collision boundaries are. Also, due to the false perspective horizontal movement is visually faster than vertical movement, which takes a bit of getting used to.
The sense of humor is awesome ^^
@szabe I know information and storyselling was weak even there isn't. I think improve attack system. Actually arrow pointing to random food but it unnecessary because of not pointing nearest one
@thygrrr there was map for showing place of items. I don't want player to eat food unnecessarily .Also you can escape from cars by throwing food them or maneuver even so I should decrease acceleration
@leandre-renouard color pallet is important on games.I dont struggle with it much . Maybe I make halo around enemies and items or warning sign on these.
@siepiau it is a beautiful subject. horizontal movement faster than vertical because lightning become weird and make I have to move camera angle and that make inclined sprites. Because of perimeter trees are too neatly arranged , I made it last times. Actually I made a map in blender but there was weird gap between faces of the map so I made it in unity fastly.

I disagree with the comments about this game having lackluster graphics. I think they are fantastic and fit the game very well. The art-style together with the music sets the tone and builds a very nice mood.

I really enjoyed this! Great art style and I love that you can ride the horse, it cracked me up. I liked the song and the music, but some of it was a little loud and I noticed jumping cut the music out. Cool game though!

Okay, first off, that control scheme needs some work. (Maybe split it across two hands, e.g. wasd to move, j to eat, k to interact, l to throw food?) Second off, ROOAAAR I'M A BEAR! Third off, why can I jump with spacebar and why does it mess up the music? XD Fourthly, the game's a bit hard, but other than that it's pretty fun, the song is nice, and the graphics are wonderfully cartoony and humorous! Nice job!
