Very cool entry simple art but not bad, the audio was very loud for me. The game play was actually very fun but I think it would have been nice if the pick up and kick key were separate, maybe have C be pick up.

Nice job, controls felt little odd to me, but overall it was good once I figured it out. I'd add some directions on the LD page, I was using left side of the keyboard to move and interact, but didn't realize I had to use the arrow keys for the down function.
Nice submission overall, cheers.
I liked the variety in the levels and the "drill is coming!" added some intensity which is a good touch. I agree that the controls felt slightly off as it was tough sometimes to get the down and x right to pick up and put down vs. just kick it. if you had a separate key between pickup and drop and kick that might help.. but overall good submission!
My keyboard doesn't have arrow keys so I couldn't get past the second bomb. I liked the music and the sound effects, though! The theme song was a bop
Cool entry! Art and audio was well done, especially the theme. Game was fairly challenging -- level design definitely rewarded multiple attempts. I think the controls were a little awkward though; I don't see why picking up had to be a two button operation, especially when one of the buttons used is used with a very separate action.
Thank you very much for your entry - I hope you had great fun making it
Very nice entry and a good tutorial to get you started - and a well polished entry :thumbsup_tone1:
I hope you'll drop by mine and give it a spin
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
i like the fact of not taking damage from the explosions but i think that havineg to kick and grab with the same button makes thing a little bit confusing
It was really challenging and well designed
A bit difficult to control (mainly because of the down + x to drop bombs, but also a bit because of the physics) but still a very good mix between puzzle and action.
I think there is a little bug: when you mash the x button the bombs are projected very high (out of the screen sometimes).
Uhhhhh that was just. Taking the coin is actually quite the trap ahah :v: Decided to ignore all those bonuses and went straight down! Went way better! Congratulations on the game!
Really liked the kicking mechanic (felt like it could've done with a bit of screen shake though). I liked how you introduced new mechanics and how they were all useful especially when you combined them. Nice work!
Nice concept!
Cool idea! I didn't get too far though because the "X" responsiveness seemed off a bit. Love the character sprite!
Damn I tried that second level so often haha. Took me like 20 tries or so. Really challenging good bit of fun! I really loved the tutorial level, how you showed me how to play the game. Often overlooked in ludum dare games and really well done with your game. Also love the concept of the game in general, it was a lot of fun!
I think in the end it was just a bit frustrating to control. I wish I could have one button for kicking, one button for picking up and one button for throwing. Howeve if those controls would be improved I would actually love to play the game more!
Very fun game, my final score was 5187 (I ended up skipping most of the coins). The instant reset button was very helpful and kept things from getting too frustrating. I would recommend adding a note about it somewhere on the game page, as it took me a while to realize there was one. I also noticed a minor bug where if you are moving in one direction and then tap the opposite arrow key, the character flips directions but continues moving in the original direction, just facing backwards.
First thought: "Are you kidding me? This isn't even possible." Then after trying the second level several times and made it to the third I was on fire. xD I even reached the score screen and was a bit proud of myself.^^ Nice entry.
Very fun but also very challenging. I kind of hope there are a "drill is coming!" not only for tutorial but for every level.
