Need some help to learn how reply yours messages(sorry again)...

ssiannas 2025-04-07 14:49

Good job on your first entry! Hope you keep 'em coming in the future :D

I feel the game really needs some text or indicator explaining what you are supposed to do. I found it pretty hard given that it gets pretty chaotic at times. I liked the liminal vibes though!

notnasiul 2025-04-07 15:19

I'm sure I'm missing something even though I tried a few times... I walk/roll to the pink cube in the center. Then to the sphere that appears. Then something HUGE falls from the sky and pushes me out of the platform and while the game tries to push me back in it won't work and I keep falling? HALP? :D

2025-04-08 12:10

It seems that strong luck is needed to make the red color fall off the platform?

nojoule 2025-04-08 13:12

It's such a weird but strangely interesting experience. At first i was unsure if it was intentional or just a bit bugged, but there was something really nice to the weirdness and figuring out what was going on. I enjoyed it!

vertsight 2025-04-08 15:25

When you thought you had it all figured out, and then a huge expanding cube falls on you while a mysterious announcer says something.. JUST SHUT UP I'M DODGING THE EXPANDING FIGURES!!

that was awesome

resty 2025-04-08 17:06

It's quite hard to figure out. Seems quite easy to stuck at the first scene, and only way to resolve I'm finding is to reset the game. That confuse me more.

cure 2025-04-08 19:45

I had the same experience as notnasiul and others, seems maybe there's a bug?

yangtuofeel 2025-04-09 03:28

I can feel that the idea of this game is good, but it seems that the game has some bugs, but for a try, a little problem is OK, looking forward to your next game, come on.

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 04:20

If you reach the platform, you'd better push everything red off the platform (which definitely works), thank you for playing! (You were mentioned because I was trying to reply) @cure @resty @yangtuofeel

vknauss 2025-04-09 06:09

appreciate the instructions in 2 languages. I was also a bit unsure how to proceed after the red capsules start to fall

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 08:37

@vknauss It seems like you're stuck with the progress in the other post I made. Actually, pushing all the capsules off the platform (which is the most effective) takes a lot of patience.

You can cleverly use the timer to reset objects in the level through challenges, but on the other hand, I might have set the difficulty a bit too high, sorry!

Maybe I should submit a lower difficulty version again, thanks for your comments!

shiheuan 2025-04-09 10:28

Our ideas align in some ways🐸, and I really dig how you're bringing this to life through physical elements. Can't wait to see how you polish the game—you're killing it!

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 10:36

@shiheuan Yes! The frog is always in the depths from my point of view, and I very much agree with the gameplay of your work, which inspires me! What if an alien frog told it what was going on outside? Or maybe this frog out there has come underground with some kind of mission! Thank you!

baizeqwq 2025-04-09 11:08

诶诶诶好像有bug还是我没太搞清楚玩法?!不过体验蛮有意思的!!

xpoho 2025-04-09 12:11

I think maybe your game need some polishing ^_^

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 12:16

@baizeqwq 你可以理解为正在控制一辆碰碰车(遇到红色胶囊体),整个流程以达到“井底之蛙”为结束,当然再次下落会玩到额外的关卡😗

整个游戏就是在解释这个成语的概念啦!

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 12:19

@xpoho Yes, it's very rough and I spent a lot of time learning program implementation, thank you for the experience!

resty 2025-04-09 12:39

今天的版本bug少了挺多

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 12:44

@resty I didn't know there would be such a problem without your feedback, but I've lowered the difficulty in the current version, thank you again for playing!😇

ice-in-nortern 2025-04-09 14:42

捉!

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 14:44

@ice in-nortern Don't catch me here (TAT)

gamurmakesgems 2025-04-09 14:50

This game feels like a dream lol, I don't understand it, cool music. What's happening, there's a lot of blue cubes spawning, is that suppose to happen?

yibirabbit007 2025-04-09 14:55

@gamurmakesgems It doesn't matter, multiple blue squares indicate that you have a better grasp of the rules (even if it doesn't affect the final result), this game is based on the Chinese idiom "frog at the bottom of the well", thank you for your comment!

sadvest 2025-04-09 15:42

I can feel that you're trying to convey a certain emotion through your work. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations in the future.

yibirabbit007 2025-04-10 05:28

@sadvest Thank you!See you next time

thegreatcarpet 2025-04-10 17:05

Great work for a beginner and for someone who made the game solo! The most important thing is not to stop and maybe even find a team to create more awesome things. Good job!

yibirabbit007 2025-04-11 08:41

@thegreatcarpet Thank you! I want more people to know about the existence of this idiom through my games

0x-void-x0 2025-04-12 08:34

The closest jam game I played to an LSD simulator . I was confused the whole time but in a good way.

The music had me moving my head to the beat with an expression of confusion XD, I managed to make it to the level where the cubes keep falling and got overwhelmed. I think you did good for your first jam entry, definitely a memorable experience.

yibirabbit007 2025-04-12 14:31

@0x-void-x0 Thank you for your playing! I am currently still in the learning phase of Unity3D, and what I am presenting is almost all of my work.😇

binaryprinciple 2025-04-13 15:16

Congrats on your first LDJam! Good idea on making a Web version of the game, people like to play and rate as many games as possible and some people do not like to download it.

Here is my feedback:

1. Set a tutorial level. 2. Make it visually more intuitive. You can use simple animations and sounds to convey a warning or prize. 3. Put the goal and controls on the screen at all time as part of the UI.

gustavo-christino 2025-04-26 17:23

Congratulations for your first Ludum Dare. ^^'

It was difficult to understand some aspects related to the final objective of the game. But I was able to gather that the goal is to stay on top of the platform (I just didn't get much feedback about whether it’s better to stay there for a specific amount of time or if it makes sense to try to knock opponents off).

Overall, it’s an experimental game that plays with various behaviors of three-dimensional objects, so it was an interesting geometric experience.

I didn’t have that much fun, but it was a challenge that kept me entertained for a while as I tried not to fall and attempted to knock others down.

I didn’t fully grasp the use of the theme, apart from the idea that defeat happens when falling to the bottom of the stage. I think it makes sense for an experimental game, so in a way it still achieves thematic use.

I liked the soundtrack, but I found the voice-over a bit disconnected from the style of the music. I believe making it optional in a menu would be an interesting next step for players who want to experience more immersion. Was the voice-over created using a text-to-speech tool? I got curious.

I don't believe the emphasis is on humor.

I don't believe the emphasis is on psychological atmosphere or subjective immersion.

My suggestion is: work on clearer in-game objectives (without needing external reading) and consider publishing for smartphones to gain some market experience (if you haven’t already).

Once again, congratulations on taking on the challenge of creating the game. :)

yibirabbit007 2025-04-28 15:36

@gustavo-Christino Thanks for the suggestion! I did use extra voice in the game (only in my native language, of course); You mentioned that the game is aimless, and I'm sorry, but the game is mostly used to explain the abstract meaning of the game in a Chinese idiom that I understand (to avoid being obsessed with a certain stereotype). I didn't have enough time to really live up to expectations, I'm a 3D noob...... Orz Next time, maybe I should cut back on unnecessary moving space, but thank you for your review!
