Fun game. The levels are pretty repetitive, and the hitboxes are super janky, but it's fun to land a good jump and get the huge speed boost. I wish sliding carried momentum better, as I think that would have made it feel more fun to use. Some of the background objects clip part way through the player model, and hitting retry while stunned doesn't reset stun, but those are mostly minor things. Good work, I really enjoyed this one.

The movement felt kinda stiff, which was unfortunate because hitting a slide into a double jump through a tight spot was such a great feeling! Very cool game.
游戏的判定有些问题,主动复活会导致能力丢失

The game is fun! It is a shame to lose your items at the beginning of each level because it is really fun to combine all the movement options.

Cool kind of idea for a game, a speed-based Metroid. Unfortunately movement feels very stiff and the boost system seems arbitrary. And definitely needed more level variety. Otherwise I enjoyed it well enough!
Cool idea for a game, with a little more polish in the movement mechanics this could have been a great submission.
As others have mentioned, the movement feel a bit stiff and the reason for that I believe is, besides the usual finetuning of hitboxes and balancing parameters, how frustrating it was to hit your head, lose all of the momentum and then wait to get up. I understand you need some sort of punishment in the game, but getting stunned for so long is annoying. I think it would create a more smooth experience to just remove that stun period and convert it into a direct time penalty on your timer. Also, speed boosts from downhills felt satisfying, so I would suggest more of that in your levels.
Besides that, I think the graphics worked for a ludum dare submission, and the music was vibe-y.
interesting work lol, I found a weird bug that when I respawn, the character is invisible

The game really starts to shine when you have both slide and jump! I managed to play about 10 levels and when the movement clicked I even started to bronze the levels! Yea, it is a bit clunky, but I still really appreciate the physics you guys could pull of there. Great work! Medals and stunts are great addition. Are levels procedurally generated? I started to notice some patterns. To me this was great choice, as it gave the time I could play until I grasped the movement to feel fun. Liked the visual design. Two bugs I found: music was getting stuck after restarts and I once fell under the floor ending up reseting the run :D Head bumps were also a good choice - it gave a stake to do stunts

I liked your game straight away because of the music and the graphics. When I tried to perform the first slide without having the item I was like: 'what am I doing wrong?' and read the instructions for the movement a million times. Then I thought I'd just go the other way and found the first item :D - nice entry!
Kudos to the "smack" when you hit a wall, fun game !

Very cool music and great visuals. The movement feels a bit clunky but when you fix this, you basically have a completed game. :D

That was fun !! I like the mood and the music, but I was a little frustrated by the stun mechanic. But anyway, well done !!

That was really cool. Hitting the platforms just right was very satisfying. Teleporting back to the start when grabbing an item felt the same as restarting so I was confused at first. Managed to get a gold medal on one level. That's good enough for me.
