Hey @deadroach, remember me?! Thanks for playing my game for 3 whole hours last year on stream!

I gave this a try even though you haven't finished putting up your info, I think it was pretty self explanatory. WSAD to move, Space to shoot. But The mouse pointer kind of confused things a bit. I used my left hand to move and right hand to hit spacebar, so having to switch back and forth between space bar and my mouse just to click an upgrade was a bit annoying. I think it would be nice to just have left mouse click as shoot.

I really enjoy your zany creativity! I like that the aliens are cats and they sent crat who shoots mice at mice aliens in a space invaders game. The upgrades were funny, I like that some of them were just straight up debuffs. I saw a 'Lose Instantly'. I think my criticism is that there isn't a way to heal, so I felt I died pretty early and often.

I love your artwork and the music is really moody. Great job with this one!

Too few people have played this game! A cool take on Space Invaders, there's even progression! You've done a great job!

To improve the game, I think you should remove the cat's long pauses and also expand the play area, as practically nothing happens on the right side of the screen.

Having a cat companion while gaming is the cutest thing ever! The mechanic of spitting mice to attack is honestly comedy gold. My only feedback is that the movement speed is a tad high right now, making it tricky to avoid those dodging spaceships. Slowing it down slightly would improve the game feel. But overall, I love it—it’s a very sweet and fun game!

Loved the premise and the art style - funny and cute! The gameplay gets very intense very fast, which I think is good for this kind of game. The upgrade mechanics is nice (genius idea putting an upgrade for losing instantly). I got 37800. :slight_smile: 20260425_02h34m50s_grim.png

The initial glitch was quickly detected, and I really love the style of this game and find it adorable! It's a very soothing cat character. After playing for a while, I think it has a bit of a magical charm. Hahaha. Because of the cat's spinning movements and the sound effects, it feels very catchy.

@jag I could never forget Mr. Evil Cometh himself.. and lmao 3 hours huh, sounds about right. Thanks for giving it a shot even though it was a bit broken when you played it, I figured voting with mouse would be fine since you pet crat to calm him down but I added choosing upgrades with Q and E in the bugfix so that the mouse thing wouldn't be an issue. There is an upgrade that heals but that is the only way as of right now lol. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and I hope you can catch one of the streams so I can play your game for what I'm sure will be less than 3 hours this time lol (or if you want me to play it without you there that's fine too. I just like it when the devs are present)

Good job! I enjoyed the interactions with the aliens and the Crat. I played until 25k score. The shooting game is okay but I mostly camped at the corner because chasing the enemies is way too dangerous. Also, after getting enough rat-launching speed upgrades, the sounds get really loud. 😁

At first I thought this was a survival game, so I stayed in the corner for many waves where the rats wouldn't hit me, but then I read there was a score so I played again. In the end I didn't see any score, and I have no idea how to play this game.

simple but cute, good art, the game is easy but I can see what it's going for. (and I like crat too)
