good game
I didn't really get the story from the game, but I liked the pixel art
@deadroach Thank kenney.nl!
"I wasn't in it for the history. I was in it for the money." :wink: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
The art is fantastic! I love the look.
I was a tad confused on the dimensions... (sometimes when I hit 2, 3, or 4, it didn't seem to respond)... so i wasn't clear what to do. But you guys might have the BEST cover image of all the entries. Really stands out.
great artstyle and concept of multiple dimensions
@scrapmetal The cover image was AI-generated :laughing:
Well, it's as if this wasn't done in 3 full days, but in an hour with a bottle of beer, the Internet and a computer with 30 megabytes of memory) It's still a good game, but compared to many at this jam, it's a walkover.__.
The art and overall aesthetic are fantastic, really drew me in! However, I found the dimension-switching mechanic a bit confusing at times, as the keys didn’t always seem responsive. The story is quirky, but it wasn’t very clear through the gameplay itself. With a bit more polish on the mechanics, this could be a really engaging adventure!
@iwant-pizza Lol, this was made by two people in two days, and I literally just finished the Unity 2D game tutorial a week ago.
And you had a huge team and didn't even finish on time, so who are you to talk :laughing:.
On the surface I really want to like this idea, it sounds interesting with the dimension changing, but I didn't really get to experience it. controlling the dimensions didn't seem to really work most of the time, and despite lots of trial and error I wasn't able to figure out what it wanted me to do to make it work, and the dimensions just seemed to change at random at times. The controls were pretty good, though they felt a little uncontrollable at times. Still, you had a fun concept, and with a little more time to tighten and polish it up, I think you would have had something really neat here, so keep at it!
Unfortunately it didn't really work for me but I love the concept and the art :)
