I had some trouble figuring out how to play after putting the stick in the nest. I really enjoyed flying around as a bird, but it was not straightforward to figure out how to progress. The human dialogue is hard to read from the ground or while in the air, so it would be useful to have something to perch on at head height nearby so the conversations can be read easier. I would love to know how you made the bird flying animation, the graphics look pretty good and the music is pleasant.

I ate bread, but I was still hungry xD I died almost bringing the third stick to the nest ^^

@tarren That is, you want to say that it is not intuitively clear that you need to bring not one, but several sticks? Okay, got it. As for animations, the artist divided the pigeon and people into parts (torso, neck, head, knees, etc.), and already in Unity, the animations were set up. Or did you want to hear a more detailed answer?

@alina I checked 100 times that the game should restore hungry, huh). It's just that we got such UI indicators and there are almost no changes there, and so maybe it seemed to you that nothing was being added? If not, then I will try to quickly understand what the problem is, otherwise no one will pass the game).

maybe it seemed ^^ so I died for no reason..

@alina Understood. Well, if there is still a desire, then try the current version). It seems there should be no hard bugs).
Such a fun game - I wanted to play more of it, but I kept dying of hunger in my playthroughs. Very cool concept, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but the mechanics were difficult to control at times. The art style felt complete and cohesive, but it was difficult to recognize which structures I could land on.

Really liked it and the dark turn on level 2. I did not have any problem with the food indicator. But I'm not sure of what happened in the end?

@shaggy If you are asking about the ending, then it is open). You can decide for yourself what a person could do with a pigeon - save it or kill it). This is the whole unstable of life.

The ambiance from the start to the end is amazing ! With all the small interaction with people and the little animation at the end, and the graphics are really cool ! Just maybe the theme was a little absent of the gameplay, but nice game :ok_hand:

I like the art and the idea! I wish it was more clear how to get inside and outside of building\rooms. Like the entrance to the home nest is hidden untill you hit your self against it - not very intuitive. As for making sure the gain of characteristics are visible - maybe a text with +10 or something that would pop up I died of hunger while bringing the 3 stick as well the first time I played. The second time - I finished the game. The person that found the pigeon in the end - is he an enemy ? Or is it an open end and you decide for yourself? :) I like the depth of the game. Well done!

@apandso Thank you for your feedback). And yes, this is an open ending. And about the text - a cool idea, but I personally am not a fan of numbers in such games, because they can break the immersion. But of course, even now the implementation of the characteristics is terrible, because they cannot be seen a damn thing). Let's take a note).
I really liked the aerodynamics of the pigeon, however wierd it may sound. It's teally fun to just fly around and explore the world. Also, it's quite funny that this pigeon can tank a bomb to the head like it's nothing (seriously, it feels like the bombs do less damage than the bakers with their brooms).
I'm a little confused about what those stones(?) that you can pick up sometimes suppose to do.

@oneiromancer Armored pigeon)! The war is). And about the stones... I don't understand you. We have 3 interactive objects in the game in total: sticks, bread and bread crumbs. Maybe you just confused bread crumbs with stones, xDD. They restore some food.

The plot and style of the project are very interesting. A very pleasant story told, and a good ending. A very interesting game. The developers have done a lot of work.
This is ... The gameplay is not easy, but interesting. Due to the complexity of the controls, I could not get a feel for the story. Dialogues are difficult to read and do not want to, the characteristics are falling. Story conflicts with gameplay for me.

Very interesting game. The art style is beautiful and it´s fun to just fly around the city. The twist in the second half surprised me.

Being a bird that does its own bird business and sees / hears against the background of the history of other characters is nice — cool narrative! But reading the phrases of the characters is not very convenient in flight, perhaps you should have tied the phrases to the main character.
Also the art design is very cute!
And one more thing. The gameplay is a little monotonous, it gets boring towards the end of the game. Perhaps it was worth somehow diversifying the case with some other mechanics 😊

I don't even know what to say. This was a phenomenal game. The art was fantastic, and the sounds were great. I was honestly shocked by how good the visual storytelling was. And the twist in the second section was not expected to say the least. I'm glad you only did 3 sections though, like some other people said, the gameplay did get a little bit boring towards the end. Speaking of gameplay, the controls were amazing. I hardly ever felt like they degraded the experience, and for the most part they enhanced it. I loved how unique it was. My only gripe was that I don't understand how the game fits the theme "unstable" but luckily that's not required to have a good game. All I have to say is that you did an AMAZING job!
that was dope! Very ambitious for a jam game, i was very surprised and impressed at how it just kept going, and did a great job of putting me in the world. The character controller is a little rough, but I really like what this is going for and I think you've done a great job.

@mateu Perhaps this is not so clearly felt, but the unstable here is that life, like a pigeon and people, is not always stable. Everything was fine, and then the war began abruptly and there was almost no food left for the pigeon and there were no people anywhere. And the dove is essentially used here as an "observer effect" of how the world is changing, and how its survival is changing.

I really beautifull game. I enjoy playing the game a lot. What a poetic game! <3
The art and gameplay were great! I didn't expect to keep going after the first day so the twist was a big surprise to me (the bird is really tanky, I survived a lot!), I did end up breaking the game so I couldn't pick up branches on the 3rd level somehow, however it seems that was the last one. As others have mentioned, doing the same task can get a bit repetitive. Overall I really liked the game nice work!

@ty-victorson In what sense did you break the game? What exactly happened? I didn't quite get it.
@paulsams not really sure, I was in the area with the nest and hit E near the floor and ceiling on the right side and it prevented me from picking up the branches
Interesting entry. Playing as the heaviest pigeon known to this world I suppose. Had a nice time picking up branches and stealing bread, and bumping into walls. I guess entrances/open areas could benefit from a bit of visual signaling. Otherwise, solid entry. The world/atmosphere was more interesting than the gameplay, which I assumed was a vessel for all that anyway. Picking up sticks had me avoiding most humans playing normally though, so I made sure to go check out dialogs/other parts with no gameplay purpose of my own will. I guess "unstable" was a narrative theme, right? With a possible added spice of the bird surviving bombs, but drowning in the nearby river :P Cheers! ;)
