Maybe you should add some instructions on how to play the game. I noticed I can select grass types and plant them. Also tried to breed grass 1 with grass 2 and nothing happened. So I planted all the grass I have. They all ended up dying after a while. I couldn't find how to unlock other plants.

- I wasn't too sure what to do once i ran out of grass to plant and then it dissipated. - also found the menus to be quite a screen hog (I was in full screen) defiantly would recommend sizing it down and possible centering the field a bit more. - There also didn't seem to be a lose or win condition so i would recommend trying to find a way to implement one if that goes with the over arching idea - The music was nice though!

Keep on developing!

I got the concept of the game, but the UI is all over the place and put me off. Other than that, I could sink a good chunk of time with this!

It is very difficult to understand what needs to be done

Could not get past trees, if there was any more content. I really loved the music, @Peppsen, my respect! The concept is great, really wish there would be more to it.

I can see the concept of starting out with an empty garden and filling it with content. And doing it to a calm music.

I think it would be interesting if there was something on the field when you start the game, like stones and dead trees that grow some types of grass / plants better.

I saw the breeding tab, I guess it would be possible to get new types of grass there. It would also work with something else, like having flowers or trees that attract birds or insect that drop new kind of spores, or make it like a cookie clicker with accumulating resources.

Good luck!

Concept here seems interesting, but I didn't really understand what was going on. Also I had some issues with the lighting system being really resource intensive and choppy, perhaps something that could be optimized at some point but I understand why that isn't possible during a jam. I really did enjoy the music, gave a great relaxing tone to the game. Good work!

Honestly, the game needs better instructions on what to do, I like the calm music that gives relaxing atmosphere
