Interesting game, took me a little while to get used to it and I was completely bamboozled when the bindings switched with difficulty.
If there's no audio in your game, you should remove it from the list of ratings.
Nice game, the UI is a little bit confusing. Congrats!
Cool art and idea. I really liked now the devil/demom/satan looked. Its really hard :)
I really liked the idea and played a bit on the easy difficulty. The concept of more complex spellcasts in higher difficulties is fun but players have too little time to react.
Nice tutorial level!
Nice tutorial, shortcuts ordered as num pad so its easier to play with that keys. However I found numerous text mistakes and the lack of audio is a pitty.
@norfma @juan-hust-novella there should be sound, in the download version it is there. I try to get it to work in the browser version too.
Its a cool idea for a game. It taste reflexes and memory. I think it was really confusing the position and number codes of the paths. I'd would have tried to make it more relational to the number position in the keypad (4 would be left, 6 would be rigth, 8 up, etc) but the way it is takes more memory than anything else.
Great job overall.
@sebastian-m oh yes that would have been a good idea and 9,3,7 and 1 would be the diagonals. I just numbered the States in Unity and then took the ingredience from top left to buttom right.
Nice work with the main character. But I think you need to work on the UI, it was very confusing.
Wow thats really a nice game idea. It takes something to learn the combinations, but after some time you get it. The structure of the tutorial is also really awesome, slowing down time so the player can learn how the basics work.
Tutorial helped a lot, tricky little game. Nice idea.
Awesome game! The spellcating does get crazy complex in the hard difficulty, but it becomes a case of knowing the keys to press. I found that the games went for way too long due to the heal spell. There didn't seem to be a fast ramp of difficulty (if any) so any health lost could easily be repaired, keeping the game going a bit too long for my liking. I also fail to see how this slots in with the theme, but nonetheless, this is a great game! Graphics and audio are both great!
Interesting mechanics
I think I'm getting old. My brain couldn't recall the combinations fast enough. It's really quite fun though once you finally get a rhythm going. Good stuff :8ball:
Thanks for that tutorial helped a bunch! Great game takes some getting used to though!
Very solid entry. The concept is interesting as well. However, I think that the colors of all sprites are too saturated and a diferrent color palette would have made the game more intuitive.
I enjoyed it a lot btw :)
Hey, great game just had a play!
I loved the combination mechanic, it was unique using the finite state machines for the sacrifice recipes!
Also the devil design kind of reminded me of nigel thornberry :yum:

My highest score was 180 on Easy mode
One quick improvement for the game would be possibly some kind of score screen? It was pretty jarring going straight to the main menu when I died and not seeing my score.
For a bigger update, possibly having more indication of what elements attack each other - such as creating the opposite of what creature represents, war for the dove.. demon for the angel.. reaper for the child? It would make more sense than electricity, fireball and poison but maybe that's just me?
Thanks for making this game, and on behalf of [my team](https://discordapp.com/invite/whalesandgames) thank you for making this, it was fun!
My bad duplicate posts x.x
Whew, there is a HUGE jump in difficulty between Normal and Hard mode. D:
I like this entry, though. :) Always nice to see alternative control schemes in a game jam game. The combo system made it really feel like casting spells, which was a nice touch. I like the level of polish in this game as well, extensive tutorial, difficulty settings (that actually change how you play the game) well done!
I think with a little polish and a little more variety (without overcomplicating things further) this could really be something neat!
