The typewriter is surely old tech but the gameplay isn't so old. Anyways, I failed on my first try but on the second run, I've found fireball spell and I've typed the spell to victory!

Good idea. But the typewrite layout has the wrong qwerty layout for my German qwertz keyboard. Wouldn't matter much, if when I type z then the z key would be pressed, but it is swapped as well.
