It's lovely, spent quite a while playing this game. It's simple, but pretty addictive.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD39 → Energy Collector

Great Job! Had a lot of fun playing this. High score was £1736 I think.
Just watching that bank tick up is :ok_hand:
huh, works pretty well
i was confused that left click didn't build rather than right click (I'm on a macbook and right-clicking is awkward)
got a bit slow eventually - wasn't sure what to do to best increase my profits
Very nice game, and I liked the idea, and the implementation of that idea. Nice job!
While I was quite confused about the concept I have to say it was quite fun
Cute concept! There's something really satisfying about watching the ships fly about. It took me a little while to realize you could zoom out with the mousewheel (went to look something up in your description, realized the screenshots were zoomed out, had an epiphany), I got a little excited when that happened. I haven't yet figured out what determines when an item can be upgraded, though I did upgrade my portal gates :) I'll echo that it's a little counterintuitive to place objects by right-click and open context menus with left-click. Nice work! :)
I would have liked to be able to just start the game and jump right in but I had to come back here to read the description first. Unfortunately even after reading them I am not quite sure when I get money but the concept of building gas stations becomes clear after a while. 48 hours are not much time but a little in-game tutorial would have been nice.
Anyway, I am now building a large number of stations. A minor thing: it would have been nice to be able to build multiple instances of an item without the need to go back down to the bottom of the screen to select it again. Just let me build five consecutive gas stations.
Although that was a lot of critique, overall I find this game very cute, the graphics have a nice and cohesive pixely style. The simulation part is working well, so thumbs up! You did a very good job!
Thank you for the feedback, I'll update the description regarding zoom, and I'll probably work on a post LD version at some point so the feedback is valuable!
I got hooked! After like 5 mins I realized I could move camera and that playground is so huge.
You could make it so that as you zoom out camera moves faster. It gets really slow if you are too far.
I don't know how upgrades work. Do you need money to unlock them? I could only upgrade portals to level 2, other buildings were always non-interactible.
Nice idea and nice game. I didn't encounter any bugs. Cheers!
Great game, addictive and satisfying as you stop playing and only watch your money/energy increase, I stopped at 7000$. The graphics are nice and the art in general is good as well. Good work!
Nice game. It's a CookieGame-like kind of game. I like it tough. I didn't realize that the 5£ thingy was a toll booth. So, as usual, I started to spend all my money in energy maker, and... that's it... :-) Keep moving forward.
Great game, I got like 1700 when I stopped. I didnt fully know if my actions had effect at some point, but it was still fun to play :D
Super fun addictive concept!!! Not much gameplay but the concept is awesome. Rated 5/5 in most places :D
"Ships can clip through walls because the future is magical and beyond collisions" haha I'll have to use that someday. I really enjoyed playing this game, as I always have been a sucker for these kind of expand-your-empire things. The art gets the job done, and it would have been nice to have some sound. Nonetheless, I found myself playing this game for 20 minutes, simply watching my business expand - it was very satisfying. Good job!
Great game. Spent too much time playing it. It seemed for a bit that there was no way to loose, then i saw if you build too many stations with out enough solar power you start loosing power. A lot of fun. Good job!

Fun game and quite relaxing to watch, all those ships all that money flowing through MY financial empire!
Maybe it is too easy, seems like there is no losing condition, or at least it is very easy to manage the buildings in order to have the money always going up.
The controls are a bit weird: it took me some tries to understand that I deploy buildings by clicking with the right button (I always try without the instructions first, in order to see how naturally the controls have been implemented). I found out I can zoom out by mistake, I tried to scroll to read the description on itch.io. And since I'm doing everything with the mouse I expected I could pan the map by drag, I had to read your instructions to understand it was WASD.
But great job for a Compo!
You really need to add some titles to the objects, because I was kind of lost, even reading the description in this page I didn't know which object was the related.
"Ships can clip through walls because the future is magical and beyond collisions... " xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I was going to say that maybe a good looking idea is that the ship instead of going to the center of the station, goes to the bottom of it, and then a little turn and backwards, I know it is some work but it gives a quality touch to the game.
The idea is really good, but I felt a little lost playing it, and also the countdown of the payment was always the same seconds.
But good job mate!
Different, it was a great idea, and I really enjoyed the sun. Good designs.
Total Payed: 3873.34. That was fun! A little too click-y for me, could have used some hotkeys to select the different things, so I wasn't struggling with moving the mouse back and forth and instead just building my station.
nice game! i think the game need a tutorial and more info, Fun game anyways! good job
The game needs music, and some help, but the gameplay is very good, it always keeps you nervous to maintain a good balance of resources. Nice job!
Nice game ! Balancing works well :) Could use some music !
Nice game it has really nice graphics and is fun to play nice job.
So... I have to pay $3 if I want to experience the full game and rate it?
I need to pay 3$ to play the game and rate it?
No no no, $3 is if you want to experience the extra work, the LD version is still available for free
Interesting idea. Could be a bit more fleshed out. Had a good time fiddling around once I understood how it worked.
Great idea; definitely worth developing. It will be a lot of fun with upgrades, maybe some random bonuses or adversities.
Graphics very simple and no sound - doesn't really matter as the playability of the game is on a strategy level.
I'd add range circles, when placing objects. Does distance from the star matter? why should the player keep correct distance? - some questions that sprung to mind.
Sophisticated strategy game, but I really missed some explanation about the different buildings I found out over the screenshots :D
Guys, hello everyone. What about alternative energy? What energy is best used for permanent use at home?
I believe that solar energy is the best option for permanent home using, although to be honest I used to be very doubtful about the benefits of solar energy. I think the article on [Are solar panels worth it in Ireland](https://wizerenergy.ie/are-solar-panels-worth-it-in-ireland/) helped me make the decision, so I really recommend checking that out if you want to switch to solar power.
