Nice interpretation of running out of power. Was hard to get into the idea of being a dictator.
Nice interpretation of the theme!
"You've already executed the Minister of Truth this week! Please calm down!" NEVERRRR
Good game, nice play on the theme of running out of power. Good sense of humor and good art assets as well
Really fun and surprisingly addictive. Took me a play through to fully understand my impact and role in the game but I enjoyed it once I got the hang of it! Good game!
Took me a few goes to get the hang of it. I'm really impressed with how you're presented all the data. I came up with a similar theme interpretation - devolving power to barons as a monarch to retain your throne - but couldn't think of a way to get it all on the screen in a coherent way, quickly abandoned. I appreciate how difficult it must've been to design all this. And I very much enjoyed the written events. Really nice job!
Quite fun, I was surprised, it has a good amount of depth considering it's a compo game. The graphics are appropriate and nice; loved the spin on the theme. My first couple of runs I even forgot there was no sound.
You're right, we did have a similar idea about the theme! Your game is designed incredibly well for a compo like this. It has a suprising amount of depth yet a very simple (and beautiful) UI. Well done!
I really like the artwork, but really feel some sound effects and music could have really added something to it. Good game.
A bit complex at the to learn, maybe you could gradual introduce UI elements? Otherwise one of the best games I've played so far. It has a very creative use of the theme and I can't imagine how hard it must have been to configure all of the interlocking systems. I'd love to see an updated version.
Really nice implementation of the theme. You basically feel how power slips from your hands all the time. The game is quite complex too, and can surprise you at times. Takes at least few gameplays to get what's good and what's bad and how to remain in power for longer, but worth it all the while.
Yeeee! At last another team that uses the power interpretation as a social power :D I was expecting for this, we are not alone!
I loved the Orwell's kinda scenario. Well explained even if there was **a lot** of information. It reminded me to some table game but I can't say witch one. I enjoyed a lot even if i've lost all the plays. But that is because I'm not good enough.
Nice game and good luck!
I think this is a great game and I like how you can kill your own ministers. Are you planning on making a post-jam version? I think that sounds, even some simple ones for UI clicks, etc. would add a lot to this already great game. Also, the graphics are amazing compared to my abilities.
Nice game with clean interface, will need a few more goes to get my head around the best strategies. Could do with the tooltips showing the cost of the 'green cross' options.
I found the game to be very developed. Something between a text adventure (with graphics) and a political sim. I enjoyed the bits of story every week that made it feel real like these ministers are actually human. I love the little graphics of each minister especially MoI. Overall very nice interpretation of theme, and innovative game!
very original idea. it's currently the game I played the longest
It's a bit sad that I was unable to recover, even as I gave my people everything they wanted.
