Honestly, not a bad game. You should continue developing this, you have something going

@triangle-point we plan to, this turned out pretty fun ^^
I thought this seemed very well made and I wouldn't guess it was made in only 3 days so good job! I love that you included an intro and cut scenes. I think you must have planned this game very well to be able to fit this much art into it. I was pretty confused when the gameplay started because I had no idea what I was supposed to do but once I found the first battle then it was all very intuitive. I was also quite concerned that I was going to die and be forced to start again but it seems like you have infinite lives which I love (especially for a jam where a lot of people would rather move on to the next game than restart). I really liked the battle system although I did have a few occasions where when I died I was respawn right on another hazard. I think an easy fix for this would be to give the player a second of invulnerability when then die to get themselves back in a safe position. Great job guys!
It was a really smart move to not make the game punishing, as in this sort of a game I just want to see the story progress and not have a level restart after loosing too many lives or something like that, so good job there. The "enemy" comments were absolutely hilarious.
@starboihooch there is a bit of invulnerability after death, but for some situations it may be too short. Will keep that in mind! And yeah I think the infinite lives (just a death-counter of sorts to show how much you died) helps alleviate my usual issues of making stuff way too difficult for a jam game
@kr4ft3r was rly fun thinking of little enemy-monologues XD
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
This one indeed has great post jam potential. It is a very solid foundation! Grats!
Has a few bugs but looks nice. Not a bad idea.
@dkaloger what bugs have you found? I'm curious. also, thanks : )
@rik-thunder ,Stuff like spawning in impossible to survive locations , dying multiple times in a row ,also some UI like the bar above the death counter also didnt make since.
@dkaloger the bar over the death counter is related to graze score, common shmup feature where you get points for dodging very close to attacks. (almost touching) Haven't noticed any bugs with it yet, but if u can describe maybe I can figure out what's wrong
As for spawning, there should be a short (too short, by the looks) invulnerability period when you respawn, but I think on one of the fights there might be an issue where sometimes you can't see the player because the enemy sprite is above the spawn point temporarily
The watering can is brutal  The artstyle looks really cute and I love that you managed to create some animations and tell a story. The core gameplay has some strong Undertale vibes which I really liked!
Overall very well done. Thanks for your entry
I spent the entire game thinking what... am...I...playing, but in the best possible way :) Loved the art style , the watering can kicked my ass. Really great game
Interesting game all around with nice visuals, audio and gameplay! I liked that you had some cutscenes in there, really cool for a jam game! The combat mechanic was fun, but I wished that attacking would not be on E but rather Space, as using E together with WASD I always had to take one finger away which sometimes resulted in getting hit unnecessarily.
Fun and unique game, I loved it! I also loved the game wasn't punishing the player.
The mood of the game is very attractive, although I don't really understand the story of the beginning and ending scenes, it's still very interesting. The map interface reminds me of Don't Starve, which is a very clever way of using 2D components to represent 3D environment. I also quite like the fighting part, and it would be better if I can fire by holding E (like the 東方Project Games). Well done!
I liked the undertale-like combat even though I suck at it  and the graphic style a lot! Props for using godot
This was very strange, well done! I particularly liked the 2D character and how even though you'd drawn front and back sprites for her, when she turned from left to right it was a still a flat image turning - thought that was nice and quirky :)
There is a lot in this game, the overworld looks interesting and I think you could do a lot (like hiding upgrade for the battle etc). The battles themselves are cool with each enemy having it's own kinda mechanic, not bad, however the hitboxes seem a bit weird, like I got hit a bunch of times without touching anything. As for the story I don't even know what's going on, but I assume some eldrich chenanigans are going down. All in all I think you might have bitten of more than you can chew for a jam, but ended up with something solid either way.
Also maybe you will find the time to update the game page description after all :P
All in all a good entry for a gamejam!
Interesting take on the theme! I think with a bit of polishing and adding a bit more flesh to it it could become a fully fledged game. Well done!
Was a very cool game, I couldn't find what to do at first but after I found the hoe, it was such fun to play! Great visuals and cool music. Good job!
