This is a flavorful platformer with different game states (crouched, standing, jumping), each of which you use effectively in the level design. The dialogue from the spooky scientist that has you under surveillance is a nice touch – the dialogue delivers excellently and adds a bit of environmental flavor to the world. The game remembers where you were so that dying isn't tedious, and it handles pretty well. I got stuck on the sides of blocks in that level where the spikes rise from the floor, but on that topic - the rising floor is a well implemented mechanic.

For a first LD game, it's uncharacteristically complete!

Nice idea, but I really hated the controls, there were no reason not to use the up and down buttons. I wish we could simply press any key to continue the game when we died.

Solid platformer and great take on the theme. The main issue I had is that I would sometimes get stuck on the sides of blocks while jumping, particularly on level 3, but that didn't hinder the gameplay too much. Overall I thought this was a really great, intense platforming experience.

Oh, that's the name of my subscripted game for Bored Pixels Jam xD. Great for a first LD game, kudos for getting it done!

Unforgiving hitboxes, and weird control scheme... but a enjoyable platformer non the less. Wish I didn't need the mouse to interact with the menus, since both my hands had to be on the keyboard, wich just made deaths kinda annoying... With some more work put into it, I think it would become a much better game though.

Hey @josemachado @gord10ahmet , Thank you for your critical feedback. sorry about the troubles you had with the games controls, Our team ( Nevermore, Liz, and I) Are very adaptive when it comes to playing games, we often use strange controls and switch from keyboard, to mouse, and have lots of experience in using all sorts of weird mediums for games from growing up with both PC and console games. because of this when we prototyped the games controls we didn't really think much on the trouble other people might have with them but your feedback helps because we know not to make that mistake again :).

I am also sorry we also didn't think on the Replay menus being controlled by mouse click either, honestly we were just happy the replay button worked lol.

As for the sticky blocks, ya we only realized latter after the jams was finished when we began some play tests that the blocks were sticky and needed to have a friction-less physics material added to them.

As for unforgiving hit boxes, you would be surprised how much we shrank them down, but the green blocks (the acid blocks) were pretty unforgivable still by the end so my apology's. Anyway thank you again for your feedback and while this isn't technically my first jam, it was for my two teammates and this was my first time programming for a game jam so we really appreciate it :)

Oh man when I saw that PS1 Memory Card aesthetic I thought someone had a similar idea of making a game about running out of space on a Memory Card :) But this is pretty cool too. Creepy mood. I love it. My biggest problem would be falling down, because I can't see all that well where to jump, or better to say, I don't have much time to react to the death traps below. Other than that, good job!

Bit of weird controls but all in all a good game.

Its a nice little platformer, but the collisions could be reworked abit (getting stuck on walls and really sensitive acid pits). Some background music and/or sound effects could also be added. But overall good job!
