Great visuals! I especially liked the intro. The gameplay definitely needs some balancing, like it takes a 1/4 of the bar just to check a room is empty sometimes. There should probably also be more time gain when killing an enemy. Otherwise nice entry!

love the Graphics! but the random generation of the map sometimes does not see the doors.
somehow gives me some "binding of Isaac" vibes, the graphics were cute

Art is great, I had some trouble spotting the doors to go left/right, so a door frame of some kind would have helped a ton! Nice and simple though, and some good action at times. Good job!

One of the top games I've seen so far, great art style. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like attacking is way easier from the sides rather than above or below, even though the enemies don't seem to have issues with it.
Awesome! Love the graphics, especially the death animation. Controls felt smooth, and I liked the incentive to attack more than 1 enemy at once to save time.

Fun game! Positives: nice art, crunchy combat, the music and sound effects are awsome. Negatives: You can avoid enemies (you're just trying to get as far as posible and that defeats the purpose of the combat system).
The art and the animation are SUPER well done. The sound design is on point, although I wish there were music as well. As others have mentioned, the doors are not super obvious and it took me quite some time to figure out that you could go in the rooms on the left and the right, and the game is over waaaaay too quickly. Still, great job !!
floor6.png I got lost a bit at the start. I couldn't find the doors that were near the bottom of the cave or the sides, I only saw the doors at the top. But when I figured it out, I felt like there was really no time at all for anything. Eventually my strategy became to ignore single enemies and only fight doubles and I made it to floor 6. Is there more content if I try to make it further? It feels like I need a lot of luck to get far in this game. The art style was cute and fun, and I really liked how the attacks felt solid, consistent, and varied. You really nailed the slasher vibe. The sounds felt good, and added to how crunchy and alive the attacks felt. Really cool game, thank you.

Really nice art and animation - the Death character is really expressive and fun (I love the game over animation). Combat feels responsive and punchy. it's fun to stunlock everyone, haha. I found the slow navigation, small field of view and poor signposting of doors frustrating when combined with the very punishing timer. I wish I had a bit more time for exploration. But that's really my only gripe. Everything else about this is quite cool.

Amazing graphics and animations! The only downside is that doors on the sides are not very visible, perhaps adding a map in the future can fix this. Aside from that, its a fun game!

Amazing art, enemies, atmosphere and polish! Played this one several times. I do feel like it was a bit too random whether or not your choice of room exploration lead to an exit. Also it seemed fighting enemies wasn't worth it early on so once I decided that it just became a mad dash to try to find the stairs.
Looked great, played very fluidly, excellent use of theme. Loved it.
Really nice art style! I was a bit confused at the beginning but I realized the objective on the second try. The concept fits the theme surprisingly well, and it was quite addictive! Screenshot 2022-04-04 191425.png Awesome game :D

Really awesome game! The graphics are super slick, the animations are satisfying, the sounds are crunchy, and I love the little start comic. I've seen a lot of games using this same general gameplay loop concept, but the theming of the game really fits the whole theme of "delaying the inevitable".
I wouldn't be surprised if I saw this win the jam!
I got to floor 10 :)
Damn, this looks and feels great. Excellent work!

Nice job. Very hard to see the doorways at first. Got to floor 6.
Really like the combat, It has a great feel to it, the enemies are fun(They don't fight back enough though), and I love the art.

Nicely polished entry! Was fun to try and find the trapdoors, I believe I got to level 3!
Some feedback points that could be nice: you can easily stun the enemies, maybe let them break out of the stun at some point (especially the later enemies)
Really liked this entry! Love the art style and music was good too. Feedback was great and combat felt good and worked like I would expect. My only complaint is that I felt like there was barely any time to do anything. I think having empty rooms is a bit brutal, specially on the first floor. I feel like most rooms should have enough enemies to somewhat give back the time spent exploring the room. Other than that I loved this entry! Excellent job!

I really like the visual style. The concept fits the theme well and everything is nicely polished. The atmosphere is really great too. The combat served its purpose well but the enemies didn't really fight back. Good job :D
