Nice work on the sprites - they read very clearly as lab-coated scientists, which is impressive for the number of pixels used! :)

I really like the concept of switching between characters. I wish the camera was a bit more zoomed out though, because a lot of the gameplay turns into randomly running around, whereas the fun is in the chase! I think it would have worked better with more scientists, so each switch feels meaningful (suddenly in a crowd!) and if you could see the scientist you are switching to. Great sprites, animations and colour palette.
When you possess that one guy who was about to reach the Exit --- the feels, man. Nice work! Short, sweet, and a brilliant fresh take on the theme.
It would be nice to have a wider view of the scientists as has been said but I am a big fan of the effect you've accomplished with the sprites. You definitely accomplished the Commodore 64 look.
Such a simple concept, but it works surprisingly well and is quite fun. My only problem was distinguishing where the walls start, but I guess that's just me.
I really like the concept of the changing demon, this concept could be definitely further enhanced even further. I also loved the retro style :)
I love the theme of having a demon attacking science-folk, it adds a fun twist to the standard possession plot. I think some possible improvements would be to either add unlockable abilities/pickups to increase your demonic powers as you wander through the facility. Also - with the camera as it is, it's hard to tell where the others are in the room. Maybe adding a detection pointer either around the player or somewhere else that points to the nearest 3 people or so could help provide more spacial awareness without revealing the entire room to the player.
Nice work!
Hmm nice work for i like the gamedesign colours and idea behind the game welldone
I like the art, the game has a very retro feeling. It could be nice to hear some retro music too :) Also I like the colors too, it reminds me something from my childhood
nice c64 style game.
The game is a lot deeper than it looks, you have to have a perfect balance between leading them to a dead end, covering the door so that they can't escape, not being too close to the door yourself before the switch happens, and actually killing them. Gameplay is enough as it is, it just lacks a bit of atmosphere as there in no music and the map is a bit too empty
Got 9 kills +A grade after getting used to the core loop. Very good game overall, nice work
Ah, it seems like these scientists work for the Ministry of Silly Walks :)
I took a glance at your code btw, and I was surprised you used Unity's navigation system! I had considered it when programming my game, but I wasn't sure if it would work in 2D, and thought it would be too complicated for our purposes anyway. Good stuff!
Thanks, everyone!
@rashcan I used this package: https://github.com/h8man/NavMeshPlus
I immediately spotted the improvement in your pixel arting. Enjoyed the noisy shader giving the nostalgic vibe. The gameplay is not offering much but still fun to play. It could get interesting with some extra but subtle additions to the gameplay. Thanks for participating, looking forward to see your next game!
A nice and simple game! It definitely kept me playing. Only minor thing I've noticed is that the game restarts too quickly before I can read my score. Maybe it's because I was pressing wasd keys
i really like the graphics and the audio gives it a proper retro vibe, good game
It's a very nice game, I like the art too! I agree with wolderado that your score goes off screen a little too quickly
A very creative idea. I like the art. Good game!
