Cozy and innovative! I'd love to see the story continue!
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD55 → Spirit, are you there?

Cozy and innovative! I'd love to see the story continue!
When i click on English in the Web Version it is still displaying text in French
It was really cute to see all the dialogue options, I felt like you could really personalise the experience to yourself, which was really fun! Good job!
The animations and storylines really impressed me. Great job!
Love the art and the gameplay feels super sold. I pogged when I realized what the concept was.
English option in the webgl build does not work, otherwise a cool idea and visuals!
The download version doesn't seem to work. The HTML version is in french it looks like.
I had to use task manager to kill the downloaded version
Great visuals, smooth controls, immediately understand how to play. Well done! The remarks and responses really felt funny and personalized to my choices.
I am mesmerized! I wasn't sure how an oujia game could work but it made for such an amazing experience!
The atmosphere is on point. I love the chill vibes combined with the banter of the characters! I also love how many different options are. I haven't tried them all but it was still impressive how much different dialogue options were!
Overall an amazing game and one of my favorites from this jam. An amazing experience, @namnam !
Really beautiful and fun entry :) It was nice to explore the dialogue choices. This could have a lot of potential as a story driven game, if the group visites you regularly and you could influence their behaviour. Maybe they could bring sacrifices or so.
Nice work!
I framed someone for murder! Great concept. Such an interesting idea. A full-length game of this would be interesting. With lots of branching paths to the narrative you could take it in all sorts of directions. The graphics help sell it too. Not got a bad thing to say about it. Superb entry. Good stuff :8ball:
@letssnack @ziggy Thanx for pointing that ! Can one of you tell me if it's now corrected, did'nt have the problem myself ?
@namnam yeah it works now, thank you ^^
@beebster-games sorry for the inconvenience, the web version should be working now !
The game is incredible and very funny! Great work on the storytelling; I can't wait to discover more branches in the plot! A gem of Ludum Dare! The concept is really strong! Content de voir d'autre français par ici !
This was incredible. Best and most innovative use of the theme! Cozy, nice grapics! Only thing that would make it more immersive would be to have the fingers places on the marker when you can make an anser, but that have massive ux implications :P
The graphics are great, the game super polished and I had a few good laughs! Well made, I'm sad it was over so soon.
good game ! the concept is very cool. like to play spirit, it's really a good idea. maybe you can adapt control to mobile just add button for skip dialog and I think it's will be playable :)
Very cool idea. And so beautiful and cozy aswell. Kinda felt like "coffe talk" or similar cozy games where you are a bystander and listen in one the stories of your guests. I love these kind of games and would absolutely play more of this
OMG!!! This game is so cool, I really like narrative games with unique mechanics, so I loved this game. I would like to see a longer game with more narrative!!!!
@francois-dervaux it actually work on mobile with two finger tap but I forgot it so thanks for noticing !
What a novel way to have simple but effective dialogue branching! I love the Ouija board interface, and being able to point out characters.
The game ended immediately after pointing out a killer (I tried two characters), which was a shame. I felt things had just started to get really interesting, but I get that you only have limited time in a jam.
The art looks good, you have a nice palette and I like the distinct colors/design of the hands. The music is chill.
Overall, great work!
Beautiful art and what a fun way to interact with a story game! Way too short though, really liked the vibe, wouldn't mind a longer story in this format. Plus, I chose an applicable name for the ghost lol

Love the branching and the gameplay idea, really innovative! I just wish it was a little more large. I would pay money for a full release. Great entry!
That was super fun, I'd love to see a dating sim game based on this premise! LET ME ROMANCE THE ROOMMATE!
Cool game. Technically executed perfectly, only at the first launch did not load dialogs. I don't know your plans, but I would love to play the full version of this story
What a great concept and take on the jam theme, I hope you develop this idea further because I think it has potential for a smaller full-story game with branching paths. Two issues I found were that when spelling the name, I had to move away from a letter to be able to write it two times in a row, and sometimes the text bubbles are a bit too big. But other than that, awesome submission, nice job!
Great ambiance, great take on the theme, beautiful execution and lovely art. Loved the branching dialogues too!
I enjoyed being able to experience the game both in french and in english. The french version had a few typos, but these things happen in the rush of a JAM ;)
A fun short story :) It would have been cool to see the rest of the ouija board used more but it makes sense why you stuck mostly to yes and no.
I really would have loved to talk even longer to these people. It felt very therapeutic to insert myself into this scenario, seeing myself as an actual ghost who didn't overcome problems. I had some gender-euphoria when they called me lady :') Thank you for making this beautiful game!!! It's so cute and felt great
I loved the idea of playing as a spirit.
I couldn't understand the controls much at first, like we needed to bring the planchette to YES to end our word. Maybe there could be an UI button for that?
Controls are my only critique. Fun game!
This game is really cool! The artwork, music and narrative fit and fit into the theme in a creative way. It's cool to see the branching storyline. I'd like to make something like this sometime :).
This is the only game so far that gets 5/5 in more than 1 category for me and I played plenty of games. the whole idea is really interesting, the story is well paced and really engaging, nowhere did I feel like a dialogue was just a filler or skipped through just to get the next dialogue. the mechanic of answering like an actual ouija ghost is really cool! I player multiple times trying to get all dialogues (I'm a sucker for a good story can't help it lol). if you ever decide to continue working on this game please let me know and I'll gladly play it or buy it if it gets far enough. anyway good job on making such fun game despite being very simple, I enjoyed it a lot!
This was AWESOME ! With une traduction française, merci ;) Honestly, one of the best game I played, I'd love to play a longer version of it ! It was so interesting for once to be the one to "tell the story" ! I loved it I just had some trouble writing my name, I kinda had a random r inserted in it haha
Superb! The atmosphere was top notch and also the controls. Many great details and speech lines. Audiowise a little bit more humanlike speech voices would be just pure honey for the experience. Great job!
My favourite ludum game this year!! It was just awesome to play as a spirit and talk to teens. The concept outta this world!!!! also the art so calm and cozy, and music soo relaxing. 10/10!!!
thanks.png for this game! Very nice introduction, it makes you want play the game. Mood is amazing, and when the story starts to be very interesting... it ends. Frustrating but if we want more it is because it was good :) Maybe you could continue the story and do a post jam version.
From my face did not slip a smile all the way through! Thank you for the emotions)
Beautiful execution! This is fantastic
Thanks for a great game! Very fun, and each character was so distinct! I appreciated having both French and English versions to play  Echoing the sentiment of several others above, I would love to see more to the story if you continue with this game :eyes: Love the style, art, and vibes! We even got to name our spirits :relaxed: Great job :D
Waouw it's such an amazing game ! The concept is so good and the experience very smooth Love it !
I like the interactivity of this game, it feels like you're actually part of the conversation and the different dialogue it can have makes it very interactive. I love this, keep it up. Also the ending tho.
Cool game, I liked it!
Good game and Nice mood.
this is the best game of this game jam,,,all five stars !!! love this game so much, outstanding in every detail,,sadlly the story is so simple, game ends after few questions . wish to have more chat with those girls, waitint for a completed version
What a cool game! Very simple yet engaging mechanics. The dialogues and the art is top-notch.
Fantastic game! I really like the mechanic, very cool. Didn't find any faults.
Vey good my french fella ! Very original idea, the hardest part is to make it credible with the dialog choice and it's kinda okay just some of them are a bit off but for 48 hours it's very good ! Bon chance dans tes projets !
Vraiment fun !
You got your rights and lefts mixed up!
That was fun, and goofy. Graphics are nice. I misspelled John wrong 5 times trying use the board for some odd reason.
It stucks after a question "Who will be the next one of us to die?". Besides that, cool game!
I finished it all the way through, and it became sad that the game ended so quickly. Excellent work, pleasant graphics, chill background music, two languages, and a good narrative. As others have suggested, romancing the girl while playing as a ghost would be great. I hope you continue development. Good luck!
Nice gameplay. Would love to see this game in full version.
"You aren't pervert, are you?" "YES"
Haha I laughed so hard at this. Man, this game is SO good. So simple, but it keeps you going. I really want to talk more and more. It's atmospheric but humorous at the same time. Good job on all fronts: Mood, music, graphics, enjoyable gameplay. I always try to give some negative feedback to make room for improvements, but I couldn't really find anything.
Just wow. Amazing execution of a great little idea that perfectly fits the scope of a jam. Really impressed with the art as well, representing the characters with hands is genious.
Very enjoyable. Cool characters, I liked them despite being able to see only their hands. I played couple of times to explore more paths and my favorite is a plot twist where I'm haunting Ben's room because he killed me :scream:
I was wondering, did you use a tool for branching dialogue (like Twine or Ink) or did you make it by yourself?
Only thing I could complain about was that it was weird to move back and forth the marker if I wanted to say yes (or no) twice in a row.
Hi @haayaargh Thanx for your feedback ! I didn't use a tool, i made them with unity scriptable object, but if i decide to continu the game i'll do it with tool because it was a awful way to do it XD
Really liked the vibe and it's really cozy, would have seen more of that !! Art is very good and the story cool keep going it's quite innovating ! Good job :)
Not at all my type of game usually, but you probably got the best notation from me since I started rating games (sorry to others ^_^')
Really clean work, just sad it had to end ;'(
Coooooool game!
Very well executed and creative
Very creative and well executed take on the theme!! I really love the art and the mood of this game. The story is short and sweet, though I wish there was more! haha Only nitpick is I wish I could click to continue so I could play with just the mouse. Also, when I tried to put a very long name the dialogue progression became a little broken up. Other than that, perfectly amazing game!"
Cool art and the idea is well executed. I liked it a lot!
Cool art and the idea is well executed. I liked it a lot!
It's a very cool experience! Cool inerpretation of the theme :) Everyone summons someone, and here a player was summoned. 5 out of 5
Game is really cool and innvoative. Love the idea!
What a cool idea! I love it. Also, the visuals are impressive. I have to play it again to see where different answers lead me :)
this game is rather funny even if I would have appreciated a little more dialogue to test or a more developed story
impressive game ! Perfect paintings, awesome storytelling, great mood ! Really polished ! bien joué !
Thats a very interesting and compelling idea Was really fun
What a fantastic game — a perfect fit for the theme while still being very creative, polished, and fun. Bravo!
very nice story, play several times to try other answers:) artstyle is grat too - i love, that you see only hands, but they... have personality, and with dialog bubbles its enough to make whole picture. GJ guys!
cute and funny. I don't know if there are more than one ending - would be great to have multiple
Very cozy game !
This is amazing. I don't have that much to add, I love this so much!
Wow, such a cool concept. I liked feeling like a ghost and seeing the reactions of the participants. I got stuck at the "who is next to die" prompt. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something. My only feedback is that sometimes the text hides the board and that probably shouldn't happen :) Cool game.
@aviv-levy few other people got stuck there as well, you have to put the wooden selector thing over the hand of the person that you choose, but it should be way more obvious. Thanks for pointing that !
What a cool idea! Love the game, music and the theme of it all!
 lul at how the name can influence the texts
Screenshot 2024-04-27 193051.png
Nice idea. Pretty fun, the ending felt cut off to me though.
Your take on this concept is much better than mine. Very nice implementation and mood, liked it!
I really liked this submission. It's such a nice and cozy take on the spirit board trope. The writing had some awkward English in a couple of places, but otherwise it felt quite natural and the different possible answers give it some replay value! Very good work, this was a memorable one!
P.S. The download version didn't work; the dialogue just never started playing, so I had to play the web version. Thankfully that wasn't much of a problem!
Interesting entry! It has a lot of replay-ability, since you can always go back and respond different things. Pretty simple but fun game nonetheless!
Great idea and art. So lovely
