Press W,A,S,D while dragging them to rotate/flip. Is this not working?
Game looks cool but is really hard to solve. Would have liked to have had some music
Nice concept, I had no issues moving or flipping the pieces and I cleared the first 5 or so levels. For being as simple as it is, the game is very visually appealing, but I feel it's sorely lacking some sort of audio feedback. Even without sound, the game still looks and plays great, nicely done!
This seems to be a strong idea, but I couldn't even beat the first level. I just never ended up with a shape for the final piece. Starting simple and getting more complex would have at least shown off level transitions and given me the idea I had actually managed to play the game. 😆 Maybe some kind of hints. *X pieces are in the right position* or something.
The visuals (that I got to see so far) are simple and elegant, nice subtle bloom effect to keep it from looking too simple. Even a few basic sounds would've helped a lot though.
Nice idea.
Nice take on the theme (Tetris-related mechanics are a natural fit), with some good minimalistic execution. Puzzles are well thought and put your mind to work. The ability to flip the pieces besides rotating them adds another layer of depth.
This could be easily developed further into a full game, the core is already solid and really engaging.
Well done!
Are the levels randomly generated? I played quite long but didn't reached an end :D The controls for fliping and rotating are awkward, but I also don't know how to make better ones. Some feedback after finishing a game would be great.
@oadt Yeah, it's all randomly generated. I agree about the controls - rotating feels straight forward enough to me but I'm not sure what else to do about flipping.
Nice simple puzzle game. Well executed and clean graphics. Would have liked to have seen an extra mechanic at some point or an option for a larger puzzle, as I did lose interest quickly. Good job though!
Windows version is not working
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
@ventura the windows version works perfectly ;D
Cool puzzler -- more of a fill the space than a running out of space, but hey, space is definitely involved. As others mentioned, some audio feedback would probably make this more amazing, but I could certainly have fun with the puzzle aspect for quite some time (if I had some sound... ;) )
@crazyd Yeah, I was originally planning the mechanics to work quite differently with a board that became smaller as the game went on but ended up scrapping it and going for something much simpler.
@magmafortress you apparently did a great job nonetheless -- I've still got it up on my desktop and am trying to figure out one of the levels -- maybe a level indicator would be nice too, so I know how far I've gotten!!! :)
Simple and interesting, you should expand on it and add more levels and mechanics, also some sound effect would greatly improve the game experience.
Nice little simple and clean puzzle game. Had a simple but sharp look that I enjoyed. The flip vertical/horizontal keys were kind of wonky to me, but I got the hang of them. Good stuff!
I also had trouble figuring out how to spin the pieces until I looked at the comments. This is a nice and relaxing game, though as others have said, I think it would be even better if the difficulty ramped up as you progressed through the levels. It sounds like your original idea would have been cool too!! :smiley_cat:
The idea is not that innovative! We've seen a lot of these games out there! But I wish at least you worked on your game! maybe adding a new mechanic or just ADDING MUSIC! It was quite boring!
Awesome game. I was pleasantly suprised with the overall mood of the game. Hope you develop a post jam version for this!
It is amazing to be made automatically. Even though there are few pieces, very difficult stages are created. If there is something reward, I may be able to do it all day. Great job!
Elegant and effective! I tackled over a dozen, maybe even close to twenty. I like the spare but clean and clear presentation. The controls were solid, although having both flips was kind of a mind-bender and prevented me from being fluidly in control.
After the first few, I was able to tear through some of them quickly, especially where there was an awkward piece that could only do one thing. But others were still getting me stuck... especially if I was burned by my own assumption about where something "must" go!
The experience would have been enhanced with nice audio of some sort, and I lacked a feeling of progression or a goal to be moving toward. Maybe count my puzzles solved, and begin with fewer shapes allowed but every 5 or 10 you release more? (Or did that already happen, since some of the bigger/awkward pieces only appeared later?) I was unsure if there was a silent goal or infinite.
But those are just additional scope -- what is here is quite enough to entertain, and a solid puzzler that gave my brain a workout. Well done!
