Clever game. Not much to it, but i still enjoyed it.
My usual strategy in life is always pick red! Give me red! This game opened me up to new baths, now I feel I may someday choose green, or even blue! A really nice concept, with the really cool feature of having the color map after you're finished!timeline-small.png
Humble game with unusual concept.
I took a good time and it bring me in an other world for some minutes !
Really enjoyed this, it was a more interesting puzzle than I expected at first and ending with the gradient timeline is a great way to reflect on the different strategies that people take while providing a personalized relic for a playthrough for the player to keep. I'd love to play an updated version of this that includes some interesting audio mechanics as well. Great work!

Wow that was much more enjoyable than I thought it would be for just picking color! :D Awesome idea and it was oddly satisfying to see how my color changed.! GREAT job! It was quick and fun game :) Screen Shot 2019-10-10 at 11.02.23 AM.png
Very cool entry. Really neat that you were able to add a download of the color palettes and social media integration in the span of a jam.
A very nice entry. A simple concept and a nice execution.
Nice minimalist game. Unique take on "nothing"!
220 turns, satisfied :)

Very cool, simple and creative. Is the card choice completely random or does it takes into account your current value? As you can see I was dancing around the white hue for a while, my choices always kept subtracting
@p-r It's mostly random, with some weighting so each choice is good for one color component (R, G, or B) and less good for the other two, with one choice that's bad for all of them. Getting stuck at the "endgame" is common, and is probably more the fault of the random number generator than it is yours. Thank you for playing!

Did it in 30> clicks but still I did not give up! This was really fun, I was sort of unsure about how fun it would be at first but then I found myself trying really hard to win lol. It was a lot of fun and I think my timeline is pretty :)
it look 41 clicks, but it was so fun! my fav game in the jam I've played so far. simle, clever, awesome (and love that I can download the progress image at the end)timeline-small.png

Overtime I felt like you got cheesy forcing me to pick harder decisions lol. I was in the 250s for all for about 20 clicks trying to balance them. But unique idea nonetheless!
*Edit* One slight note, on the browser version fullscreened, clicking under the canvas still chooses colours.
Good game and very adherent to the theme! struggled a bit throughout the end because it was difficult to see what option would lead to the best outcome. Great idea overall!
Super cool idea! I couldn't finish right ... :(
This is our game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/soundscapes
Super interesting mechanic and super innovative! Would love to have heard some kind of audio as my only critism, but other than that your comment section is probabaly the most satisfying on this website right now xD (May have downloaded my gradient as a large, but either way you made a great little game!)

This was a neat idea! I'm not sure it's an idea that can really be extended any farther, but for what it is, it's quite neat!
Capture.PNG Very cool! Love the mechanic, focusing on how to raise the three values together. Took me 59 clicks, which was a little long, dancing around white... but I quite enjoyed the experience. Would be a great opportunity to get some music in, set a mood, and modulate the audio or add tracks based upon the overall value (or individual channels).
Fun idea masterfully executed. Congrats on the submission and thanks for sharing your idea with us.

What a unique and interesting take on the theme - It took me 35 clicks to get white - Seeing the comments above it seems like it was on the lower end of attempts, I'm curious if theres a strategy to this and how the options react depending on your choices if they do at all - sometimes I felt like the game was helping me out which was nice.
Honestly I really enjoyed this, I've never played anything like it and the I love the fact you are able to share your color pallet in the end too. Good Job!
Cool idea !
Amazing idea, wonderfully implemented! Seeing everyone else's timeline fills my heart with joy! timeline-small.png
This is very creative, well done!

Intriguing concept and good execution. The randomly generated modifiers could use some balancing, but it's a really good timewaster already. Great job!
It uses the "tradeoff puzzle" principle I have seen in a few games (you start with a grid of 0 and 1, make all the cells 1 but toggling specific groups of cells like square, horizontal and vertical line, one by one; as in To The Moon). But it's numerical and future values cannot be predicted, so I couldn't apply any more strategy than "pick the highest total value" and then be a bit more careful when one of the colors reaches the max, and when I was getting close to white.
It matches the theme and I like the experimental/aesthetical aspect though.
My palette was huge and very beautiful, but I pressed "revers" before "save" haha (loser). The process didn't seem very exciting to me (in the end it's more pure math), but the result is very pleasing to the eye. I think that the idea is very original!
