I don't think you got the concept. The numbers at your ratings aren't the score you received but number of users that voted in the category. The score will be visible to you after the scoring round of LD ends and when you will receive at least 20 votes in a category (for the voting to be relevant). Or that is how I understand it. But I am newbie myself :) But no worries. I am going to play your game now and give you rating afterwards and I don't believe it will be that bad so my voting will be better and you will see that your numbers will increase only by 1 ;) Looking forward to play.
Someone had to do it. We all thought Tetris or Snake when we saw the theme. I applaud your ability to try and expand on the idea, and while it's not original, and may not be the prettiest game in the LD. It's a game, and you put your time into it. As for feedback... I'll be the first to tell you that seeing the next brick in line is the strategic part of Tetris that sets it apart from other games. Keep jamming, you'll get there.
GL on ld, dude! if u like Rick and Morty (see them on u profile), play in our "quantum's rick" game https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/quantums-rick
Now you don't have all 1s :) Man, stop worrying, this is LD.
The greatest reward is your game and all the things you've learned in the process. Your game is not bad at all. I am a tetris fan, and the only thing I lacked is the button to quickly drop the piece. Other than that, I've played it thru the end.
Just keep pushing and stop worrying about votes. Play and rate other games and you'll be fine :)

The gameplay is just a simple tetris, I think it could be better with some innovation in the "tetris" mechanics.
The absurdes themes made me laugth ^^ "Green dogs hide Green Planets" or "Golden planes like flat boxes". I Hope this theme will not be included in a futur Ludum Dare :)
It works well and the streamer's face is very funny ^^
Good job and I hope you can create a more inovative gameplay.

So I played and enjoyed. I love tetris and dig the idea of combining it with LD. The themes, pop-ups and programmer next to the tetris window gives the game really nice touches. I missed the prediction window tho'. Keep it up! Good job :)

Yosh ! I have to say that I needed time to dig the concept you worked on. It's actually a good idea. Honestly, I feel the reason why you merge your concept with tetris. But maybe you should have tried to find a different artstyle approach. Even something pretty simple could fit the idea. Lines of codes following each others, getting built one on another.
The more disorganized code you have, the more messy it is. That is what I feel. So it couldn't be closer to the theme. The point is that I can't really reward the innovation as the only difference between this Themetris & Tetris is that some "narrative" stuff appears sometimes.
So the advice I can give you would be to improve the "story" elements and add levels of self-improvements (the same way we Learn). So that way you would be able to make a game, based on Tetris mechanics but enhanced with narrative contents.
Don't know if you feel the idea though

Nice game! I didn't thought you can actually finish a tetris game in the short time frame, but considering that, you managed to create the tetris feel, which is astonishing! I would like to see the next tiles for better planning. The idea-combination with coding is great :D
Not bad, been a while since I've last played tetris, and this hit just the right spot for that. I liked the addition of the cross blocks, even though those really threw me off just as I was getting into a good rhythm, as it made me actually have to consider new possibilities. Though, it would've been nice to be able to see what the next block was, albeit this is only a minor gripe. All in all, good work on the game. :ok_hand:

Yay more Tetris games! Good work on supporting movement while the block is still on the floor. For rotations, I might recommend looking into wallkicks--they'll let you rotate a block successfully while it's next to a wall. Cross blocks themselves are a pretty daunting addition, had to repurpose holes for T-blocks.
I'm a big fan of the running narration gimmick you see in a couple of games these days, and you do it pretty well--the semi-randomly generated phrases that accompany the clears. Also really liked the lore-friendly way of extending the game timer, haha.
Epic development story ! The idea was interresting, and I'd love to see it fully implemented. And the bits of humour already implemented are fun, and has a nice mirror effect on the ludum. About the tetris part, I can't see how to rotate blocks...

Although adding the extra content for each line of the blocks cleared wasn't a bad idea, the whole thing is still just a 1:1 tetris basically and thus not he most original of ideas. However, it does follow the ld theme since tetris is indeed an ebodiment of the current ld's theme. The music was fine but I wasn't too happy with that high pitch whistling sound it made when manipulating blocks, it was kind of hard on the ears.
Tetris as a representation of coding is a nice idea, investing time (tetrominos) into features (completed rows) makes sense as an abstraction. I thought, though, that you could have innovated on the core game, Tetris, to fit this theme even better. For example, when I code I have features I need, and features I would like. Perhaps you could have represented that as different rows score differently when you complete them, with the amount of points you get for each row displayed at the start of the game. This would have fitted the theme better, and would have put an interesting twist on the core Tetris gameplay, where you make sub-optimal placements in order to score rows that are worth more.
I liked the humour in the game, and the graphics and audio were functional.
I think I found a slight bug, in that if I started a new game after finishing, the game said that I'd finished after only a few blocks. But a browser refresh sorted that out.
Overall, an interesting idea that could be polished into quite a humourous representation of the game jam process.
I really like the idea for the theme, and the messages that say where we stand :) As for the real Tetris, I would have liked to see the next piece, but on the other hand, we don't know what the future is like in a Jam :p

It was pretty fun. As a fan of tetris I certainly can't complain. I liked the little achievements that popped up; they added to the experience and a few were pretty funny. Not sure if it's intentional but I couldn't rotate the 4 line block. All in all a decent tetris-clone
