LD38 — A Small World

The Flip Lands by SalamiChild 2017-05-16T06:00:36Z

Man.. Am I bad at this game, the second the tutorial ended I just did everything in a million clicks. However, this is a really great puzzle game, would love to see this idea expanded into a much larger game with way more levels. Really great work, amazes me that this was a compo entry.

This Game Will Die Eventually, and So Will You by Yondermore 2017-05-16T05:47:00Z

Player #00565 here, this is a really interesting take on the theme. Loved the whole feel and look of it honestly. The desolate glitchy CRT looking monitor in an art museum evokes a real spooky kind of mood. Great work, one of my favorites of this jam. :ok_hand:

Darts Are Everything by ACiertz 2017-05-16T06:43:28Z

My god, was not expecting the end. The mechanics were fun to mess around with. And everything gave me a really good laugh, especially the answering of messages and the ending mostly. Had to forcibly close the game afterwards, but other than that, an extremely entertaining lil game. :ok_hand: Edit: Just played through the game again, and didn't realize how big the room actually is, spent 10 mins just looking through cabinets and exploring . 10/10

Land Ahoy! by Unvestigate 2017-05-16T06:29:02Z

Wow, really liked this game, the art style is amazing, and looks super good. The gameplay was also really smooth, and after a couple of attempts, I managed to get to the new world in only 4 movements. So yeah, would love to see this expanded further. :ok_hand:

Monster Deck by kamikaziuk 2017-05-16T06:20:52Z

Nice game, really love the art. There seems to be an issue for me where the audio for card noises only came out through the left ear. Also took me a while to understand how the fight mechanics work, other than that, great game! :ok_hand:

Prismaze by BruReale 2017-05-16T07:06:36Z

A really nice relaxing game. Loved the art, reminds me of a number of trippy gifs I've collected over the years. Had some troubles with rotating the camera, as my mouse was not locked to the screen. Apart from that, nice game. :ok_hand:

Irwin McSpenders by LeviDSmith 2017-12-16T01:11:18Z

Man.. trying to dodge those tax agents is tough. Once they are on your trail, it's super hard to get rid of them. Would have loved to have seen a way to shoot those paperclips at agents behind you to stop that happening. However, I liked the game and had tons of fun playing it. If only money was left around all over the floor like that in real life though.

A Platformer for Ants by Elendow 2017-12-16T01:34:06Z

Oh wow, was not expecting something like this from the theme, I absolutely adore this game, one of my favorites that I've played this jam. Went through the first time using checkpoints and finished it in 4 minutes, since i kept dying towards the end in that last room. Then realised that the whole game could be completed without triggering a single checkpoint. So liked that aspect, where you could determine your own difficulty kind of. Great game! :ok_hand:

Cat&Co by Grl 2017-12-16T01:25:37Z

Yeah, I'll have to agree on what everyone else is saying about the feedback, however i did find that the game was enjoyable. Heads up for next time though, might be more accessible to upload your builds to itch.io or a similar site, since I ended up spending most of my time figuring out how to get the actual game files off github without pulling the entire repo (though maybe I'm just missing something obvious). Other than that, nice attempt for this game jam.

BattleTennis DX Ultra Super by toestee 2017-12-16T01:20:37Z

Man, I really liked this game. Art was sweet and the mechanics were super fun and enjoyable. Not sure if it was just me, but spin is overpowered as hell. But yeah, great game, would love to see it expanded on.

Clean Food, Clean Mind by junjunlowpoly 2017-12-16T02:06:26Z

Interesting gameplay, thought it was interesting. However I wasnt quite sure what I was actually aiming for even after the tutorial. There were just periods of time where it would only give me junk food for 5 or so turns. But maybe I just missed something?

Not bad, been a while since I've last played tetris, and this hit just the right spot for that. I liked the addition of the cross blocks, even though those really threw me off just as I was getting into a good rhythm, as it made me actually have to consider new possibilities. Though, it would've been nice to be able to see what the next block was, albeit this is only a minor gripe. All in all, good work on the game. :ok_hand:

Pajuu - Always With You by Samurai Spark 2017-12-16T01:42:37Z

Absolutely beautiful game. The music and the art were spot on, and in addition to that the extra care to add cut scenes into the game, albeit even though it probably drained your time like nothing else, really added to the whole experience and made this one super memorable. Great work on it all

Friendzy by MosesG 2017-12-16T01:48:40Z

Interesting take on the theme. A tutorial or some quick explanation of the mechanics would make the game-play a bit better on the first game-play, as I wasn't quite sure as to what to do, and just let the timer time out after spamming the add friends button. But as soon as that was out of the way, it was pretty clear and self explanatory as to what to do. Great idea, and congratulations on submitting your first game jam! :ok_hand:
