I really like the method of absorbing the planets to then get rid of the blobs. I got the the point where I couldn't do anything though because I had used up all of the planets, and my cursor became white.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD40 → Earth Eaters

The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly as the blobs multiply way faster than the planets regrow, and I would have preferred the blobs actually be the color you need to use on them rather than simply having it above their heads, but overall a nice game. Good work!
Wow, that was pretty nice - and original - game concept!
Tough game! I had issues where my cursor would turn white for some reason. I originally though I was just supposed to color match but I guess the planets might have run out of resources?
A cool idea that could use a little more depth, maybe something about replenishing the planets or an interesting way to retain the cursor's color or some such. Definately an interesting way to interact with the game.
This is a really fun game! Lovely graphics too. Perhaps the difficulty ramps up a bit too fast, but the nature it pretty exciting :P Good stuff overall!
As soon as you do not get enough of them on time you will get very many. A funny idea. Maybe the planet could have a lot more resources that you do not lose so fast.
The graphics for the goos on the planet are cute, and the planet earth also nice work. The music was gentle and although its repetitive, it fits and doesn't get annoying. Quantity of food being limited was a mechanic in the game that puts a hard limit on what you can do.
The hovering targeting seems fast and effective when there are few goos. When there are so many goos, it seems to not always feed the goos. I think it was a lack of feedback on where i was feeding.
Switching between food colour was where it annoyed me a little. It would waste food in the switch. I imagine a hose with switching between food sources might be more satisfying, but maybe thats part of the core concept of the game so..
My score when i played a 2nd or 3rd time: 1131.964
All in all a great achievement this compo :D
Simple game that quickly scales the gameplay. I liked the balancing, a design suggestion could be the addition of some secondary actions that help the player when there are many blobs, for example "for 30 sec no blob of a color will appear". Congratulations.

Lovely concept you've got here and the art is great, I just feel the difficulty ramps up a bit too fast as the blobs replicate and the planets shrink, and I could have used a bit of information on how much planet power I had left in the cursor. Aside from that, good job friend!
I really like it, the difficulty increases pretty quick though, but so does the stress/pleasure. Nice game you've made here, congratulations :)
Simple, could be improved in terms of more varied mechanics, music was ok but sfx were a bit annoying
656! Like other folks, more feedback on the cursor state would be a huge help, but it didn't prevent me from enjoying the inevitable crush of overpopulation!
A really interesting game. Took a little bit to get the hang of, but I found it to be great after that. I feel like there should be a way to tell how close one the globs are to using Earth's resources so that it is easier to keep track of which globs need to be fed first. It would also be great if there was some way to replenish the surrounding planets so that the game could "technically" go on indefinitely. A great take on the theme and fun to play! :)
i really like the overall game (music, graphics, mood) especially the blobs. Very intuitive for kids !
however, the theme don't fit very well IMO (maybe too easy) : it's much like "the more enemy you have the worse it is"
very good job though !
