Cool premise, but I could not get pass one of the pillars, whenever I jumped, it was too difficult to maneuver in the air and I always fell. Some music would be nice too.

Really nice game, the graphics were very cute and the mechanic was simple but effective, although I would have made the track a little shorter. Also, I could not make a single good turn, I don't know if it's only me but it was pretty difficult.
It's a fun mechanic, but the loop of the music is too short and gets boring listening to it pretty fast. Also, you should put in the screen something so the player knows how much health they have left. Another thing, in the pause menu it shows that you can buy your kidney for more health, but I pressed it and nothing happened, I don't know if that was a bug or something.
Cool game, my record is 120 hours, I don't know how did I survive so much.
Simple and cool, I liked sticking to the walls and being sneaky to not get hit. Bearly used the ammo so I used my points in health instead. Would be better if it had some music.
What a weird and fun game, there's something that gives you satisfaction when you fill all the screen with money and I don't know why xp. Would be a lot better with some audio and better graphics.
The graphics are pretty cute and the gameplay is fun, but I find it too difficult once a lot of enemies start appearing, they surround you constantly (and throwing a coin, usually only distracts one), maybe a button for walking faster could make it easier.
I really like the basic mechanic of the game, but sometimes the levels are too difficult, I had to reset 27 times (maybe I'm just really bad... xc), but in the end I finished it!
How did you make this for the Compo?, like HOW, this is too good, my congratulations!
Cute little game, but I think there's too many things going on, what I'm referring is that you should simplify how to get things done. I think you could just get rid of the shop and just punish the player for using a box or a key, you just have them in your inventory and whenever you want to use one the game makes you lose lives.
Also, the life system is a little weird in my opinion, if you just die in a level you can just start from it with all the lives from the beginning, maybe is a better idea if in each room you have limited lives, that will also affect the gameplay and the player should think carefully what to do so they don't run out of lives.
Well, that was my take on it. Aside from that I think it's well done and it has potential, putting more mechanics and thinking more complex puzzles would definitely make a great game. But it's a jam so I understand that you couldn't get a lot done.
I think that it could make the game much better if you focused more on the concept of the curse and used it more in the gameplay mechanics instead of the typical RPG mechanics, but maybe that's just me, I'm not a fan of RPGs. Aside of that, I think it's a cute game.

Awesome mechanic and addicting gameplay, felt great to move around and shoot some knives. Now the bad thing, it's a really, really difficult game, at first I couldn't even get pass the second round of circles. It took me forever. But I was determined, also, I didn't realised that you could switch lives with knives (probably because I'm dumb) after that it was easier to get through that part. Even with more knives I could not get pass the second round of diamonds (the one with two diamonds and two circles).
