Whoops, should be fixed now.
Nice game, it's an interesting idea to upgrade your weapons using your health. The music creates a good atmosphere.
I found it a little difficult to aim just using the directional keys.
@quadtree I liked it, man, nice work. The environment felt pretty nice to navigate around in combined with the music, creating a pretty solid mood. The mechanics seemed to work fairly well with the right and mouse click, each having their own respective resource costs. I think more feedback could be given to the player when they die (although I guess they'll figure it out), and also I felt like sometimes I died while my healthbar still showed that I had health remaining, though maybe that's a bug. All in all, great work, especially for a solo dev in 48H!
Nice work. I think a little more ambient light would help because the areas in shade appeared pitch black.
I'm pretty bad at FPS games in general, but I figured this one out pretty quickly. The trick is to upgrade the missile launcher so it can destroy everything around with one shot :-) I was stuck on those giant spike drone things on level 2 for a while, before I realized I was killing myself with those missiles... As @jordantanner said, it might be useful to display the cause of death, and set the health bar to 0 (right now it just freezes for a few seconds on death). Some ambient light would be nice too. Overall, nice job for a 48h solo entry!
Sorry, was not able to play on firefox html5 version.
The game is nice and has potential! Good job! :)
This was actually a really funny mini-game. Strong point is that it's complete, you can do all three levels back to back and have a sense of completion, which is pretty rare on a jam! Overall concepts were not super original but executed correctly, I even want to do it again to try other strategies. I invested in energy resupply and the machine gun and it was not too hard, so I guess balancing was done quite well!
Great job!
This is such a charming game! I enjoyed this :)
Very cute game! I really like sounds here, there are something warm in it
Nice entry. I'm impressed to see how much features you managed to add for a compo game !
