The title of your game explains directly what it is - good idea :) Interesting gameplay with a fun mood. You manage the theme sidetracking a main genre - the retro FPS. The aesthetic is well done and reminds Minecraft. Mechanics works well as expected - especially monsters' animations. Buying items with our health is an idea which I have seen often during the 44th Ludumdare session. Playing yours I had fun. Thank you ++

Hitting the button was hard and I had situations where health packs just went through the ground. I liked the feel and look of the world and killing the enemies was satisfying.
I like the idea, but the controls made the game kinda frustrating to play. Maybe that's just the browser version though.

It's really fun. I love Doom. I can see Doom in this game. We played the game with pleasure.

Interesting concept. The game plays out pretty well and the mechanics work as intendend, I guess. The art is pretty basic and some of the textures seem to clash in style, but that's all right. I don't know if it's ok to take that medstation sound effect from half life though ;) It got a little tedious to run back to the vending machine and then back again to the zombies all the time... Maybe it was possible to collect more than one medkit... I did not try it to be honest.
After falling the lava and dying instantly after a lot of work feeding all the zombies, I really had enough. I think it was too easy to fall in without any way to get out again and being punished to do all the work again.
I liked the doom switch sprite reference, though :) Nice touch

I loved the game altogether, really good in three days.
Really fun game, i loved the animation of when you heal a zombie and they explode. I think some step sounds and zombie growls would improve a lot the overall experience, the game feels kind numb when you are just walking from a point A to B, usually to pick up medkits.

One of the best game on this LD.
Really nice art and clever gameplay concepts. The back and forth to the medkit dispenser gets a bit frustrating after a while. I guess you can chuck medkits across the level to avoid that a bit, but it often didn't go well for me! I would probably reduce all the zombies to one hit kills and increase the movement speed a bit, I think that would make the gameplay a bit faster paced and more satisfying. I really appreciate the reversal of the standard FPS mechanics anyway.
Ok I just realised after reading some of the other comments that you can pick up multiple medkits at once. Sorry, I am a thick. It does definitely improve things to do so.
The game is nice and has potential! Good job! :)

This is one of the best I've played so far! Graphics are really cute and cool (I'm biased though, love voxel). The gameplay is super funny, at first I was like "What, I can't throw a medkit to kill!", but it got me and I enjoyed a lot the levels! Super good job to you both!
Very innovative entry, and the voxel art style was nice. Overall a nice entry :)

Impressive, really. So polished. Epic job. Their faces and shaky existences when they 'heal up', priceless :D
I think they're could have been different level design approaches for the game, because traversing the level felt a bit too easy. Great game!
Ayyyeee, old-school Half Life 2 sound effects, nice. ;)
This game idea is hilarious. Killing enemies by overhealing them is a funny concept. I kind of wish I could heal myself with the medkits I was grabbing though. Unless I missed something, I often found myself getting softlocked out of a level because I didn't have enough medkits to progress, and I didn't have enough health to buy them (especially the big vending machine ones)
Other than that though, I had a lot of fun with this one. Really captures that old-school Doom aesthetic too, nice job!
Interesting game! Though I couldn't figure out how to throw medkits in the second level.
Great stuff. Took me a while to get the aim right , but great art style. :)

A fun idea! I felt like the aiming was a bit tricky because you couldn't easily tell how far the medkit was going to dip and the buttons on the walls could have done with having slightly bigger colliders so the shot isn't as hard. Overall good job though.
Cool little game. The level design is one of the best part about your game. I liked the mood too. Little thought about the tutorial : I felt I stayed stuck too much time in level 2, maybe introduce only one mechanic at the time and make shorter levels (first the "lava", the the throwing, and then throwing on buttons). Good game, good work!
Wow! This game was great... I played a lot of levels and had a flashback to the Doom/Half-Life era. Congrats on a great entry!
Evaluation...
1 - Mechanics and Learning: The combat part seemed intuitive and functional. The exploration part of the environment proved to be a little complicated at times (to the example of completing the second stage).
2 - Flow: There is a balance between the challenge that the creatures present and the development of the player's abilities (then the flow is balanced for the creatures, the second stage example where a creature needs two blows to be defeated). Walking through the stage ended up being anguish, because I had to repeat the second stage many times (without success).
3 - Narrative and Polishment: The narrative did not perform at the stages I played (it may not be the focus or it has not come within the scope of the jam version); I was totally lost as to how a narrative could be introduced (maybe I played more games today, hahahahah). The graph polishment was very good.
4 - Culture: The game brings a lot of old games, which can please the audience of classic games; with due publicity work this can garner a good community of players.
5 - Monetization: I believe that the game could be sold entirely on Steam (with proper polishment and deepening).

This knew exactly what it was, and was executed with style. Can't get over how awesome/fitting the graphics were. Really great entry!
Nice game! Medkits explosion was pretty fun when they collides xD
Very good game! the idea that you need to heal your enemies, and for healing them you need to take health from you, is very creative. Good music and all other sound are good. And good puzles. One thing that I think that would be better is if more types of enemies were added.
Definitely an interesting idea, and executed very well!

Nice concept. I would have liked it to be less punishing to miss throwing the medkit on the button on the second level. Learning how to throw got a bit tedious having to jump back to get a new medkit. Although... now that I think about it I think it was possible to carry several medkits at once? Didn't think about doing that for some reason...
