This was fun! The graphics were nice and the puzzles were the right amount of difficulty once I figured out the rules. The tutorial messages were a bit cryptic and although the music was nice to start with, the loop only being like 4 seconds long made it eventually quite grating.

Nice idea, I like puzzle games :) I made it through all the puzzles and enjoyed them :)

Excellent graphics, I really liked how the portals worked. The music became very repetitious by level 2. In level 3, I figured out how to solve it, but then I couldn't get the block to move when I thought I should. On level 1, I was led to believe that I needed to be next to the block, but then I could move it when I was heading away from it? I couldn't move it when I was adjacent after exiting the portal. Then on level 4, I could only move it a bit, depending on how far away I was? It was confusing. And the portals only activated if you stopped on then, I was expecting them to work if I just passed over them.

I would love to seem more puzzles not based on the numbers concept, the basic mechanic was simple and lent itself to nice solutions. Thanks for the fun game!

Overall pretty well made. Little more polish would have made it much better.

Just have a few issues, the first level took me a few tries because I didn't really know what to do, not realising I could move the box and the tutorial message dissapeard while I was reading it D:

Moving the box was a little wonky too, sometimes you could. other times you can't. was unsure on how far I could push it.

Music was also very very repetitive.

Loved the graphics! On level 3 I had the hardest time moving the box, it was weird. Overall loved the puzzles though, nice work!

As @mgoadric said, it was hard for me to finish level 3 - the guy doesn't 'burst on click' straight after teleportation, so you have to step one tile away and burst (yeah, you can move by one tile and bursting have a two tiles radius).

But after I understood how the game works it was enjoyable to finish all puzzles.

Game was fun, thank you!

Thank you guys for trying my game. It was my first desktop game and first ludum dare, so from your comments i learnt some things. - On third level you couldn't move the box because you can't click the player if you are on portal. You have to move one step to move the box. - And for tutorials, i'll make more intutive tutorial next time so that everyone can understand what shall be done. - And music which is my weekest point. I'll try to make it better next time and in my other games too.

Thank you all for your feedbacks. :)

Completed the whole game! The game mechanics are really very interesting. So, you could actually make lots of levels... Maybe you should ask the user before closing the instructions screen? I didn't read them completely, but then, it was puzzle game, so that just increased the fun in the game.

The UI was simple and it was easy to navigate.

I would suggest you to add one or too more game elements (that's how puzzle games work), make lots of levels, and port it to mobile! That's if you want to continue working on this game...

Good luck, bro!

Nice job, well done, I like the style and the puzzles. I had the same box problem in l3, that might need some improvement. :) Nonetheless, fantastic job for the short timeframe and one person, well done!

Nice game. I have to admit, the background music was only a few notes and it started to get aggressively repetitive. The mechanics of the game and cute style was fun to play. The UI was easy to use. I had an issue with the kickable block on the (3rd or 4th) level where I went through the triangle portal and then had to kick it. It wouldn't kick until I was an additional block away. Great job in completing this in the ludum dare time. Full featured and glad I could try it out. Keep up the good work.

Nice crisp graphical style meshed well with the puzzles. As noted by others, the rules regarding the boxes were not obvious enough. But game was enjoyable, would be nice to play it again with more levels and additional puzzle elements. Maybe a movable section of path or something.

This was a nice little puzzle game. Level 2 gave me some problems until I realised I can only push a cube if I'm not standing on a red tile. Beyond that it handled nicely, the levels could likely do with a few swap arounds here and there so difficulty scales a little better but you've got a solid foundation if you wanted to expand it post-LD!

Not having music in the game is fine : having a five seconds loop is awful :P Excellent graphics, nice level design, great experience if you mute the game :D

yetikatt 2017-05-17 02:09

Loved the graphics. The puzzle mechanic worked very well and could easily be expanded upon into a full game. My only criticism was the audio, the loop was just too short to be used if I'm honest, that said, it didn't stop me from thoroughly enjoying the rest of the game. Well done.

ghust1995 2017-05-17 02:20

The game has A LOT of potential, add some juice to the animations, make things smoother and faster, add an UNDO button and make a ton of levels. Make this a mobile game please!

uvwar 2017-05-17 02:30

I like the isometric graphics, but the music was pretty dang annoying!! I also got stuck on level 3 (clicking the character wouldn't push the cube, I had to move away and click my character mid-run to push it), and I also got a weird GameOver on the final level after I pushed the cube at some point, not sure what that was about. Cool game overall, though!

nathan-humphrey 2017-05-17 03:31

Pretty good overall, but it felt slow and tedious to move. That coupled with the fact that the music seemed to have a very short loop or very loud rhythm, made me feel as if it would take an eternity to reach where I clicked.

epiplon 2017-05-17 03:46

Really enjoyable game! Sadly, I had to watch your video just to pass the first level, then the rest went without any problem. In my opinion, a puzzle game can't have cryptic/hidden controls but exactly the opposite! The player must know all of his tools so he can discover clever ways to use them.

foolmoron 2017-05-17 03:48

Excellent presentation. I actually liked the repetitive music and sounds, and the graphics were very cool. The tutorials were great, love the humor there. My main issue is that while there are 8 levels, there are only really like 3 truly unique levels that introduce a new concept. Most levels could be easily solved just by looking at the level for about 5 seconds, with only the last one taking me about 15 seconds of thinking. They were all variations of the same kind of concept. The mechanic is very simple and elegant - but that means you need to really explore more complex mechanics in the levels to make it interesting (multiple blocks, etc).

Trying to save you from not enough ratings. Pretty nice puzzle, nice sound and mood.

ayush-singla 2017-05-17 15:45

Thank you very much to all of you for trying and rating my game. This was my first Ludum Dare I didn't expect this much positive reviews. I'll definitely keep all the points in my mind and implement in next Ludum Dare. And as @ghust1995 stated I'll definitely work on this game and publish it for the phone after my current projects. And @doppelgunner thank for saving me. :) Thanks to you all. :)
