Very good game man! Looks so so good and plays so well. Artwork looks slick, mechanics are on point. Really good game.
Only thing that bothered me was that this is like the most basic thing to come up with haha. So it's not so innovative. Other than that it's REALLY cool!
This was so amazing haha. Oh it felt so lovely to make that earth explode. A lot of variety, really well done! Graphics were amazing and I am so "digging" it!

Hm didn't really feel like clicking was helping, lacking some feedback D: Everything felt so futile haha. Not sure if that was the idea. Scrolling was an interesting mechanic though! Didn't see a game yet that involved scrolling to stay alive haha. Pretty cool! I liked the setting also and also when you go underwater the music dims out.

Well, I didn't understand the theme at all at first. Beneath the line is a bit abstract. Graphics were cool, music was okay. Felt a bit repetitive after a while, it's just that I don't like the theme interpetation at all.
I agree with burgerdare.. It's really hard for me to grasp what I am supposed to do in this game. I did like the audio though, it was kinda soothing. However, do you feel it should be in a martial arts game? Maybe :p
Uhm, not sure but I think I finished it first try.. Seeing there was only one worm? And then it just restarts? Really short, which is quite a bummer seeing the art is really cool and the game has a lot of potential! Keep up the good work though!

The collisions felt really off and the barrels were a bit out of context, as if they were like: "Hey! Go dive. Then we'll throw some barrels at you!" Furthermore it has potential, I quite like it tbh. (:

Cool stuff :) It's pretty fun to play but it doesn't have much mechanics yet (or it might just be me being stupid, hehe). The sound is a bit weird (all the bombs that suddenly go boom :p) but I thought it was pretty fun and set a good mood for the game :)

Really interesting concept, REALLY nice music. I love it. Really soothing and fun to play. Good synergy between everything. Graphics are okay, not top of the line but they fit the game well haha. Just make sure to stay in 1 style.
@DanEEStar The growth is exponential, so it'll get more hectic and it is definitely difficult at some point. We have to make some compromises on balancing and finishing the game, but we sure had re-balancing in mind. Haha

We are aware of this black boxing issue. We are trying to fix this. But weirdly enough this issue did not appear to us a single time during the jam.. And it still does not. :p

It's a WebGL related thing with sprites that are not in a power of 2, atleast that can be one of the reasons. PIXI JS should be able to handle this, but seemingly that doesn't always work. We'll look into it!

Haha, oh well. Firefox doesn't like standard HTML5 audio unless they're in an ogg format. The game plays best in Chrome.

We are aware of this issue and we'll attempt to fix it, but we're not exactly sure what might be causing it. I'll have some free time when I get home, so I'll google some stuff. Please stay tuned.
It's because most of our textures aren't in a power of 2. So we'll have to do some really solid refactoring for that. Currently we're all at our internships and we don't have as much time to work on it, communication is a bit of a problem due to that. We'll see what we can do, thanks for the feedback!
We hit up with a sound designer for the sounds. However, I do not think we may actually place the sounds in the entry as it's quite a huge change. Especially because you can rate sound.
Reminds me a lot of deathworm, it's just really repetitive and I'm not that motivated to keep playing. Keep up the work though!
I liked the scene, really stylish. I just didn't really like the gameplay, felt a bit off and weird. Not sure what it was, probably just the movement. Didn't feel like much of a challenge. Furthermore it was cool though! (:
Not sure about the theme, enemies were a bit weird imo. Couldn't really understand how to kill them with my normal attack seeing I could never cast it when near an enemy. Graphics were okay, just a lot of ugly edges.
The ambience of the metro is really well done. I really like the whole thoughts mechanic. It also feels natural in some sort of way, her responses don't feel all too random. Really cool graphics also! Great game! (:

Concept was fun, ladders were a bit confusing because he always goes to the left after a ladder which was hard to understand in the beginning. Furthermore cute graphics and even though there were minimal sounds they fit the game well (: Good game!

71 years, 258 days. Completed it haha. The game was really well done, mechanics felt nice. Just the shop breaking the pace of the game didn't feel really good. Furthermore I like the concept of virusses beneath the skin, but I think you could work it out a lil' more. Really great game though! I love the game over screen haha. Health packs are too cheap btw. ;D

Well, seeing I've played this earlier and even talked with you about it.. I should probably rate it also because I forgot. Hah. ANYWAY, I really like the atmosphere, it is quite engaging. As mentioned above, though, it gets repetitive after a while which is a bummer seeing it has a lot of potential for variety. Especially with the whole "don't get caught" aspect. Even though many people say there's a lack of sound effects I actually like the lack. A dripping sound effect of water or something like that would be very cool though. Also, if you let the light flicker a bit that'd be absolutely awesome. Overall a great game and good interpetation of the theme!

The music is cool and the graphics are nice. I just didn't really understand the entire concept of shooting/gunning.. Knowing the goal is to take pictures of the monsters? Also sometimes my camera didn't really work I believe. I could be doing something wrong. A tutorial would help haha.

Story driven games are really hard to pull off in such a short period of time. You need to create a mood that fits the genre to translate that to the players' mind, and I think you did it pretty decently. GJ.

Yea, we implemented the attack a lil' late.. And the codebase was starting to get a bit messy. No real time to get a good animation in there haha.
We discovered that the font did not really work at the end only, we could hotfix it, but we rather leave the game as it is (: Plus, the text in the tutorial is baked into the texture so that's a real issue haha. Thanks all!

Sorry but you really should not have gone with joystick controls. Not everybody has a joystick or whatever so people like me can just not play the game.

I really liked the dialogue! Normally I'm not much of a reader but the topic really got me interested. Nicely done! Funny game (: Just not really anything I'd 'play' for long, but that's okay! Also the style worked really well with the sillyness, although the graphics themselves could've been a bit better in my opinion.
Laning feels weird if you still have to aim after that. Feels very Plants vs Zombies like which is cool. (: Missing some feedback on that you actually shoot. Furthermore the game looks good and feels smooth! Well done!

Looks pretty polished! I like how the actual ball is a sheep. Haha. Also; this might be one of the only places where Comic Sans (or that other one, not sure which one it is) actually does it work! Like the pong twist and that you can move forward. Not very original, but it's simplicity at its best. Powerups are also really fun. Graphics are okay, nice job!
You should /not/ limit controls to a gamepad.

At first I didn't understand that you could still change your buddies after you've selected your first, which was a bit confusing. Could've missed something, not sure. Furthermore it's a really interesting concept (: Not exactly my type of game but I could see this work! Could use a bit smoother gameplay. The bacground also feels a bit awkward. Furthermore good job!

Yea, the game is unfinished -- like, really unfinished haha -- We got a little ambitious on map size/features and figured that without optimisations it wouldn't be able to run on lower end computers. Thus, in the approx the last hour we revamped it to a 'brawler', mainly with the purpose of showing the art. Cheers!
@bace1000, what's your screen resolution? We should've made something so you can change that manually at start.. You can try it yourself; open the file "main.js" with any text editor, find the line "Window.setSize" and change the values in there. The default resolution is 1280x720.
@Victor RNE, oh damn haha. Sorry about that. Also, I agree with you. There are not any more levels, it was more of just a representation of what we've created art wise since we couldn't make our gameplay goal.
Also, there was a narrative part to the game first, explaining why you are an angler fish in a fish facility.
Yea, if I'm correct there's a readme.txt in the game's root folder which instructs you where the dependencies are located.

If you're looking for the code we used for that shader, it's in 'shaders/post_processing_diffuse.fx". We had two uniforms for the shader, "Distortion" & "Flicker".

Very cool game! I've really enjoyed this. The controls feel fluid, it's visually interesting and there's a good mood set. The boss battle was well designed and it's great how you learn about the game using trial and error. Well done!
Really fun idea, the only thing I did not really like was the fact the camera rotates with the mouse while you are also drawing with the mouse. I'd rather had that you could lock the camera in place and then draw. Fun interpretation of the theme! Good job. (:

Made it! Really loved the classic feel to this. This is what these games are supposed to be like imo, hectic but not too hectic (: The boss had good patterns and the sound was okay. Graphics wise it could be a little better, but the gameplay compensates that big time! Good job

The walking feels a bit weird.
I really don't like the art style of the game, but that's a subjective thing I guess. The mechanics of the game play prettyy well, even though it is quite difficult to get used to the controls :)
