Nice idea to have attacks make you weaker. Too me a bit to figure out that you could actually destroy houses though. Feedback on that would've been nice.

Very nice looking game. Unfortunately it's really quite hard to see what's going on. The game is also very easy and the cannons get inside of the planet after a certain amount of time.
Very innovative though, great idea.
The controls are a little unresponsive when you're trying to get this one spot but you end up placing 3 blocks. However, awesome concept!
Amazing concept!
Really needs a restart button.
Funny way of dealing with obstacles. I especially enjoyed dying on the rejuvenation potion as a baby.
Fun little game, but it gets very laggy.
Impressive level count and a cool setting for a racing game.
Unfortunately not very challenging, but very impressive for 8 hours.
Thanks for all the great feedback :)
@fakefrogsonly, do you have a 144Hz monitor?
@Reggianito, I agree that having an installer is annoying, but as far as I know there is no way around it when using C++.
@ccglp & @alyphen, I'm certainly considering making this game fully.
@speciesUnknown
Thanks for the info, I've uploaded a new version which fixes the Hz problem as well as a small mistake in my pickup collision code.
The controls are extremely responsive, great job on that.
The big downside to this game in my opinion is the fact that hard games can be extremely fun, but only if you die/fail by something you can see coming. Taking a jump when you can't see the landing and you just have to guess several times is not fun.
This may just be me though :)
Would have loved to see some more variation.
Pretty nice sound effects although it really needs a fadein/out on the wind sound.
Very cool idea, would love to see a full game with this. The game is also missing a restart button and a loading screen.
Unfortunate that there are no mid-air controls which result in a lot of missed jumps. However, interesting take on the platformer gameplay.
Also, really impressive level count!
The game does indeed have pubescent humor, but it certainly isn't bad humor. Had a few laughs while playing this game.
I think time management is one of the hardest elements of a game jam so it's no surprise something like that goes wrong the first time around.
I managed to get stuck in the terrain within a minute :(
Fun to see Super Meat Boy with only mouse controls.
This game would have really benefited from a jump sound or two. I would recommend using bfxr, you can create jump sounds with that in minutes.
Great game overall, but very frustrating that you couldn't see the mouse, which results in the character randomly turns around at times.
