I'm running on a mac, btw.

Defense of Your Craft by josefnpat 2013-08-26T08:30:00

Doesn't work on my mac. :(

Here's the error message: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/168626814/Screen%20Shot%202013-08-26%20at%204.29.18%20PM.png

Graveyard Shift by Kortuga 2013-08-26T08:48:00

A decent game. The monsters were a bit hard to see. I didn't like that my mouse cursor was going across the screen, instead of being locked in. I didn't know how to reload :O and that kind of screwed me over. I thought the graphics were quite good.

No Time For Dungeons by PixelMonkey 2013-08-26T02:36:00

The movement on this thing was so broken. Concept was good though.

Clockwork Cat by patrickgh3 2013-08-26T08:57:00

I found that the controls were a bit laggy on my computer, so that was a bit annoying. Apart from the controls, my other problems are all nitpicks, like the fact that the clock looks a little silly when you look straight at it :P. Apart from small things, this is a pretty good game!

Hallucivian by Hypnohustla 2013-08-26T09:33:00

Great art direction, great gameplay, great music, great mood, great everything. This is probably in the top 50.

Hiccup 2 by tiffi 2013-08-26T10:03:00

I thought that this game was really cheerful, and pretty funny, what with the sound effects and intro and whatnot. It's quite buggy, seeing as I sank through the floor quite a few times, and I could jump while falling. Quite funny to play with friends though.

10 Second shooting by Pikkufighter 2013-08-26T10:16:00

Yeah, doesn't feel like something that had 48 hours spent on it.

The Count of Ten by Andrewves 2013-08-26T09:57:00

Funny short little game. My only complaint was that the movement was far too slow.

Step Out by bitserum 2013-08-31T01:33:00

I loved the atmosphere. I felt that the theme somewhat destroyed the puzzles, because of the sheer amount of going through your tracks.

Sixth of a Minute by Tork 2013-08-26T09:04:00

It was a little hard to tell if I had hit something, as there wasn't enough feedback. I felt like I went through stuff quite often. It was also annoying when switching levels, as suddenly tons of enemies would spawn next to me. Apart from these small things, the general shmup feeling was quite good, and I quite liked the mood, by which I mean the visuals and the music.

MUD by @TeddyNashor 2013-08-26T09:42:00

I thought that the gameplay was very fun, although could do with a large amount of balancing. It was really hard to see what lava was at the first level, I never had enough money to upgrade, and in the shooting stage, I felt that it was impossible to shoot the enemies sometimes, as they were coming from different directions. Exciting music would have helped. Also, the graphics do suck, sorry, but the gameplay concept was great.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-26T09:10:00

Hm... Thanks to Crowbeak. To the rest of the people who can't get it, for some reason when I click on the link, I can get it, and yesterday, some friends managed to get it. A few minutes ago, it didn't work, yet now it does. Could you please try again? I don't use Dropbox much, so if there is something obvious I'm not doing, tell me. I'm just hitting copy public link and posting that link.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-26T10:01:00

It's kind of funny, cause everyone's saying that the music was awesome, but that was the part that I thought people wouldn't like, after maybe the art.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-26T10:17:00

Alright, I updated the lwjgl for Linux boxes. Try again.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-26T23:27:00

ARGH. PORTING BUGS. See the thing is, I only have a mac, so I can't really test these other files. I'll see what I can do later.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-27T04:15:00

It should work on all platforms now. Apparently, it loads slowly on Windows though.

10 Squared by Impmaster 2013-08-29T11:43:00

@kirbytails7 : Do you have Java installed? Is your OS 64-bit or 32? I dunno what's going on.

Kitty Force 10 by Raiyumi 2013-08-26T02:49:00

Some of the level design is a little bit broken. One part, I kept on going straight from a checkpoint into a wheel of death.

The Duellists by jay griffin 2013-08-26T09:47:00

This was a pretty good game jam game. The graphics were pretty cool, and the gameplay was pretty fun. My one major problem was that it kept on suspecting me of foul play, and I didn't know why. Also, it didn't really meet the theme, cause the rounds were always less than ten seconds.

CaptureZ by whydoidoit 2013-08-26T09:50:00

The QWE controls are very odd. Also, I don't know why, but a UFO started chasing me, blocking my screen. Also, I'm pretty sure that the music was just some loop from a VST. Also, I had no clue what the animals were.

10 Seconds to Die by Ret44 2013-08-26T10:22:00

I agree with tiffi, it's a little too hard for my taste. The enemies shoot too fast, and it doesn't have the same feedback as HM. The intro was cool, but it kind of felt like all the work was spent on the intro. The idea was cool though, would love to see it expanded.

Chronodrive by ekun 2013-08-31T01:16:00

I found that it was a leeetle bit too hard to learn the controls AND dodge at the same time.

Crappydoodle by superjoebob 2013-08-26T10:04:00

Hilarious parody.

ROBOT PLANET by GeorgeBroussard 2013-08-31T01:22:00

I felt that I didn't like the mixture of real-time elements with turn-based elements because when I died, it didn't feel like it was my fault. It felt like the time restriction's fault.

Time Flies Straight by mrspeaker 2013-08-26T10:10:00

The funniest game that I've played today. BTW, that FOV changing mechanic is sickening, yet hilarious.

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

UNDERQUEST by Tweak 2014-05-01T08:40:00

The style of the graphics looks really cool, gj guys.

Mine Me Some Gold by Pixelulsar 2014-05-01T08:26:00

Graphics are nice, but I dug down too far and couldn't get back up and realized that the rest of the game was likely to be exactly the same, so I stopped. The music was alright, although the sound effects were a bit annoying.

Water SkiFree by OddballDave 2014-05-01T08:43:00

Like the overall feel, but I felt that it was a little unfair. Fish would sometimes appear right in front of me. I also found that it would be nicer if there was less time to wait to restart.

Yumbugs by Hypnohustla 2014-05-01T08:33:00

These little things are the cutest things ever, until they started to terrify the fuck out of me. Great game, although the controls kind of sucked.

Beneath Wireframe by Manuel Magalhães 2014-05-01T08:05:00

Didn't really understand how the thing worked. I guess when I entered a circle, it was passable, so I could go through it, but then when I did the same things to squares, they turned into death zones? Also, it's a bit laggy on the web client for Mac OS X.

The Big Blue by Impmaster 2014-05-01T05:05:00

Okay I've fixed all the gamebreaking bugs and ported the game to Windows, Mac, and Web. Everyone, the game is open to try and critique and to laugh at cause it has my graphics.

The Big Blue by Impmaster 2014-05-01T08:36:00

Using the space bar makes you lose air faster than if you had gone down the same distance at a regular speed.

The Big Blue by Impmaster 2014-05-01T09:06:00

Oh haha I hadn't even thought of Gattaca when I was making this, but that one swimming scene summarizes this game really well. :D

Daisy's dog is dead by alvarop 2014-05-01T08:18:00

Thought the atmosphere worked really well. However, the controls were really annoying, because it took forever to drag the post-its.

Theres's a Twist by Lucio 2014-05-01T08:01:00

It has somewhat interesting puzzles, but I found it a lot easier to just avoid the holes and wait until I went in the right direction again. Bit boring. Hated the squeaky noises. Overall, interesting concept but not quite there in terms of creation.

Mystic Castle by xerohuang 2014-05-01T08:14:00

Eh. Didn't really get how to do anything. I saw an enemy if I used see, then it disappeared and I started losing life? Also, the collision boxes were a bit weird and the movement felt bad.

Beneath The Surface by adamwoolridge 2014-05-01T08:11:00

Really good! It was fun to chase down the little orange things, and to dig them out of their barriers. I wish that you didn't have to hold down the left mouse button all the time though, and I also wish that the character moved a bit faster, as it often took ages to reach an orange dot.

the Attack - Beneath the Surface by Franklin's Ghost 2014-05-01T07:57:00

A little too simple to be truly fun, but it looks nice.

Nereids' Sea by Tifu 2014-05-01T08:22:00

Great atmosphere, really felt like I was a diver, what with the sounds, the limited FOV, and the massive helmet. Bit boring though, cause I didn't know which way to go once I hit those big walls and there seemed to be monsters blocking the way.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Floating Connections by Impmaster 2014-08-25T07:12:00

Thanks for the comment! I had intended for the game to have like a huge tower before the player, so that you could go in all sorts of directions and get lost in the maze, with teleports and things everywhere. However, creating the puzzle took far longer than expected. At least you seemed to have liked the atmosphere.

A few of my friends are asking me what the point of the game was because they just went straight along the winning route and won. It was supposed to challenge your brain...

Floating Connections by Impmaster 2014-08-27T07:40:00

Hey all, I guess I misplaced one of the teleporters? If you have the time, feel free to just jump off the platform. You'll be teleported to the start. But tbh, there isn't much more you can do. It could be so much more fleshed out.

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

OMNI by Noah Ratcliff 2014-12-26T14:49:00

It was overall good, but I found it a little unfair to try and go through the level, cause it was hard to know how much the box would move.

Ahoy! by Impmaster 2014-12-08T13:00:00

Oh sorry, I forgot to write that R is how to restart. Also, thanks about the movement, I spent way too much time working on that.

Ahoy! by Impmaster 2014-12-26T15:11:00

Yeah I know what's wrong with the game. I'm a little confused by your comment though. Did you mean that my previous games were 4 or 5 star entries, and this is a one?

Ahoy! by Impmaster 2014-12-27T13:20:00

Yeah I spent a lot more time learning how to code in Game Maker than making the game I wanted to. It's nice to know people liked my other game though! <3

Pony Island by Danman9914 2014-12-26T15:16:00

wtf i have no clue what went on but it looked cool

Cat-ana by Valandre 2014-12-19T14:45:00

Came here from the RPS article. I love the graphics and the polish. I felt that the controls were awkward, and the fighting was kinda hard. But I felt like it could be expanded into something really nice!

BTW, I got a glitch when I fell on the spikes where the pain sound played a million times in one second.

Anyways, great jam game!

Standoff by nottoscalestudio 2014-12-10T01:58:00

It's alright. Pretty simple. One thing I found really annoying was that I had to go to my mouse each time i wanted to restart. Also I think it's really hard to aim. :/
