Fun little game. The physics on the yeti responded well. My only real nitpick is that, on the web version, if the mouse goes off screen, the helicopter stops, which is a problem if the player gets enthusiastic during the heat of the moment. Storing the last know mouse position and moving towards that should help with this minor issue. Also, sounds from the soldiers dying and the yeti swinging around would add a great touch.

Fun game. I agree with ken scott but overall it's great. I liked the cinema screen thingy :).
I think more content like story or a goal like a specific number of destroyed vehicles would have been it a more enjoyable experience. It feels a little dumb to swing that yeti also the physics making it quite fun.
Maybe more reactions of the audience could have intense the feel of being an actor and finding a goal for myself?

Thanks for the comments and feedback!
I agree that goal-based levels/progression would be cool, but you know... 48 hrs :P So, had to keep it simple.
Physics were a bit tricky - the player wants to move fast but it caused glitches if too fast. Certainly can be improved though.
I'll do a post-mortem today, but audio is something I always leave to the last minute. It needs more yells and screams!
Fun game! Loved the cinema-like stuff at the beginning :D

Graphics are good and physic is excellent. Good work.

@rzfmzn - oh crikey, I actually had blood splats ready, but decided against it :D Didn't want it to look toooo cruel...

The funniest interpretation of the theme so far. The game taking place in one screen as well as on the virtual cinema screen gives this extra points. I would definitely like to play an improved version with goals and progression.
Great little Physics toy. Only problem with it was the copter sticking when your mouse left the screen, but such is the way of embedded games sometimes.
Even if this game don't make any sense, it made me laugh! Good ideas (the cinema thing is very fun) and good work on physics ^^
It was a good show :D got 5000

like it. Simple concept, lots of fun
It was an interesting idea, and a fun game. The graphics were pretty nice, and the physics worked really well. It was challenging, and kept me playing for a while, although I can't say I was that good. I got a highscore of 2000
Pretty cool game. Love the soundtrack, and the controls are really smooth and intuitive. Best use of a yeti in a game I've seen so far!

Love the use of theme and the great game setting. Fun little physics game.
Nice work! I don't know why I needed to use a Yeti as a wrecking ball, but sometimes it's fine to just not ask questions!

Always wanted to cause mayhem with yeti on my side. Very fun!
Such a fun game! Well done! I Included it in part 2 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/QrqYJieiXWs
Fun game :D I like using a ragdoll to smash things lol, it was nice ^^
Was good fun, though I found the sound effects a little harsh and annoying at times... I liked the setting, having it as a movie, and the guy in the audience that seemed to be cheering on the yeti...

@Jupiter_Hadley - thanks for the awesome video! The controls are fiddly to start with, I know.
@SeriousDeath - I never allow enough time for audio, and Sfxr produces harsh sounds, I agree.
Will upload full post-mortem later today.

I like this one, especially effects and animation. Reminds me of hammerfight. controls are smooth, but it is a pity that webplayer don't capture the mouse, so it can't escape the window.

God that was funny! Loved the idea. Visuals could have been improved, but it's a nice little game!
Probably the best entry this LD! Everything about it is amazing! The physics, graphics, audio, Everything is great! Goodjob!
Haha that was super funny!
I really liked the way that the yeti would bounce, it felt really nice and led to a lot of good maneuvers! I wish there was some sort of goal to hit. But overall a very fun game! I like that it takes place on a movie screen, very nice touch! :)
Hehe. Nice mayhem! Breaking stuff is always fun and so relaxing :) Good job
Nice fun game!
Two things:
- Lock the mouse pointer to the viewport.
- Replace the mouse pointer with the helicopter so there is no confusion. My mouse pointer and helicopter are at two different positions in the viewport.

Game as a movie in a theater is a great idea and fits the jam theme perfectly! Controls could've been a little better - helicopter has very little inertia which creates not so pleasant experience and the challenge is not as you've expected. Instead of flying away from planes and copters you're trying to not to hit into them, which is little against intuitive way, imho. In other aspects, the game is very nice and well done!

Fun and very snappy controls. I especially like the presentation (cinema screen and graphics in general). Difficulty is just right I think. Good job!
Hi there. Love the idea, mostly works well. Good job graphics, effects and sounds.
I also included your game in an article of my favorites! http://fireside.gamejolt.com/post/jam-favorites-ludum-dare-31-huv4hmz6
Simple idea that works surprisngly well. The physics make it satisfying to play. The cinema screen thing is a neat visual style. I wish I could restart the game quicker when I die (does it really need to show the MPAA-style warning every time?) Otherwise good stuff.
