Brilliant concept! Challenging and fits the theme very well. A little hard on the eyes after a while though. The sound seemed to stop working after a few levels.

ratking 2011-12-19 12:58

@Danik Thanks! The visuals are a problem, I know, but at least it looks a little bit different thanks to them. ;) BTW, thanks for noticing the sound bug, will do a fix soon.

rhapso 2011-12-19 19:21

I love it, but the visuals break my mind after a bit. It is a really creative idea!

Ryhoiku 2011-12-19 21:08

This was an amazing concept, and I had tons of fun playing it! I love it!

x2l2 2011-12-19 21:27

great idea but it turns hard to play

king 2011-12-19 22:13

Wow epic! Hard on the eyes, but epic!

marudziik 2011-12-19 22:46

Very, very innovative - I really like the idea. I mean, there are some 2D games using similar concept, but I don't think I've ever seen a 3D game like that. Congrats!

blahoink 2011-12-20 00:33

Awesome concept. you could definitely develop this further!

dmurph 2011-12-20 02:34

This is a great concept! I just have a few things. I felt like I could jump a really far distance and there was not much sound. I defiantly think you can continue with this concept. Good job!

andrew-2 2011-12-20 13:47

It's a bit floaty and jumping feels more like a jetpack, but the idea is awesome. I had to stop cause I was getting dizzy though.

sos 2011-12-20 14:20

Awesome concept :) I especially love the use of checkerboard patters as opposed to alpha blending.

jeck 2011-12-20 14:40

Excellent concept, though damn does it hurt my brain. I liked the audio, especially the creepy laughter. A shame it cut out, but I hear that's fixed in the post-compo version.

norgg 2011-12-20 15:17

Yes.

gebirgsbaerbel 2011-12-20 16:16

Nice game. The graphics are nice however I felt sick after a while, being split in two halves definitely hurts :)

teamepsilon 2011-12-20 22:23

Amazing! Well designed and fun to play.

nuria 2011-12-20 23:51

I quit after the splitting, not pleasant. I liked the mood, graphics + laughter reminded me of killer 7, which is good!

the-jack 2011-12-21 01:52

Very excellent idea, and I get what you're going for. It gave me serious vertigo and I couldn't go on.

ratking 2011-12-21 09:14

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words!

I am very sorry to hear how badly my game treats you! Perhaps I'll cut the effect down for some of you, but I don't know how yet. :-|

bostelk 2011-12-21 11:26

+++s for you

gaeel 2011-12-21 13:27

Excellent game, I do not recommend playing this while intoxicated...

pighead10 2011-12-21 14:39

Awesome concept! I hear no sound, and my I now suffer from eye strain, but great fun!

jfransham 2011-12-21 15:01

this is absolutely excellent

qxd-me 2011-12-21 15:58

Interesting idea, but the splitting hurts my eyes, am I supposed to always be seeing both views even when I control only one? Seems pretty fun, but I don't think it's that strongly relevant to the theme. I like the visual style.

ratking 2011-12-21 16:02

@pighead10: Yeah, sorry, not much sound to hear here. :(
@QXD-me: Yes, you're supposed to see both views all the time, this is pretty relevant especially in the last level. I think it emphasized the "Alone" topic quite well. :)

matthias_zarzecki 2011-12-21 22:20

Nice little surreal and motion-sickness inducing platformer!

Good level-design, as in, it gets progressively harder and more complicated. The screen-overlay is brilliant, although highly disorienting.

shigor 2011-12-22 21:04

Nice idea, but my head exploded after a while when trying to use soul switching (after I nearly ragequit on jumping platforms) - i got completely disoriented very soon and had no idea what to (well.. i had the idea, but i just wasn't able to navigate)

covebit 2011-12-23 19:34

A-Mazing!

summaky 2011-12-26 14:55

It is indeed hard to play, but mind boggling! I gave you 5/5 for innovation. Very well done.

winterblood 2011-12-29 02:16

Elegant visual style (even loved the garish palette), and brilliant concept - but quickly headache-inducing when the view splits. Had to stop playing on level 4 or 5 :(

screamrawr 2011-12-29 04:58

Amazing. Simply amazing.

sonnybone 2012-01-05 20:42

"(don't do that in the first three levels :P) "
Wish I would've read that beforehand... lol

neilo 2012-01-06 13:40

Excellent concept, and actually very intuitive! Great work :)

sf17k 2012-01-10 07:02

Playing this after voting's over, I think it's perfect. The mechanic combined with the visuals creates a very interesting psychological effect that evokes a sensation of an out of body experience, and reminds me of thoughts and dreams about alternative perspectives. An example of how games can simulate even thought itself. It was challenging to learn to play this but I feel smarter now.

keenblaze 2012-01-10 09:39

Favorite entry =)

2012-01-11 12:12

Far and away my favorite. I think this was vastly underrated in the 'fun' category.
