Great fun. One of my favorites. :)
For an RTS in the time limits, not bad, but even crappy programmer art would've been better than the letters, and it wasn't very complete. Also, didn't seem to have anything to do with the theme Infection.
Best full 3d game I've seen in the compo, for what it's worth; gets monotonous pretty quickly, though.
"virgil" (your character, I assume) and the sfx kept me giggling for a while; a pretty fun little action-puzzle game. Main problem, missiles didn't draw at all for me... were they particles? my GForce2Go often has problems there...
Interesting concept, got dull pretty fast though.
Tried several times, couldn't beat the first level without either dying or crashing :( Seemed to crash when many enemies were alerted at once, possib. related to sound? Played enough to get the feel for the concept, tho, and it was pretty interesting/original. Didn't play enough to judge "fun" or "completeness"
Didn't get very far along, so I can't give you very high scores..:( C
Fun for a while, but got old pretty fast.
Something odd about overall being the highest of all scores, but even though it was not particularly innovative, fun, or humorous, only vaguely fit the theme (imagination required), had no sound, and came as close to having no graphics as any game I've ever played, I kindof like it. :)
A little unfinished.. :( A nice start, though. Infection was there, but wasn't part of the gameplay..
Until the error messages ("Invalid pointer operation" and "array out of bounds") started coming up too frequently to play, it was pretty fun. Not bad for a 48h RTS. :)
the tie to infection seemed kindof loose to me; otherwise excellent game!
Even if I was fast enough to prevent spreading, I found enemies kept getting "stuck" and nothing I could do would move (or "disinfect") them. I liked that being infected didn't mean you were dead, if there were still brains - a nice touch. Get the collision/AI thing worked out and it would be pretty fun
Pretty fun little shooter; sortof fits the theme, but no real infection/spreading going on. Overall not very finished-seeming.
Great fun, the most fun of any of the puzzlers I think.
I'm currious where you were going with this one, not much there unless there were more controls than those listed in the readme file that I didn't find... just watching the two diseases spread. It crashed after some number of turns (I started just clicking 'next turn' as quickly as I could, and after a while it crashed)
Already talked to you in the channel about the game; Get me a link to the version with zooming, tho, I wanna try it. :)
This was hilarious. I laughed my ass off. And for the first simulator of it's kind, very nice. Some sound to indicate when your knife is in contact with the peanut butter (or bread) would've helped a lot, heh.
It ran way to fast to be really playable for me, so I couldn't beat the first level (hence didn't judge completeness) Gave it a 3 for fun based on the fact that I found myself WISHING it wasn't so fast, so I could play properly. Sortof Choplifter-meets-Lunar Lander
I tried and tried and I couldn't beat the AI. Fun concept, though.
Collision was very glitchy, infections would bounce off cells without changing them sometimes... also too easy, only lost on level 25 because two infections were stuck together and wouldn't change. Good effort, though.
the closest thing to this I've seen in gameplay is Centipede, but the similarity is pretty superficial; very innovative idea. The lack of more levels (or at least a difficulty progression) was the main disapointment.
pretty fun, love to see it finished (right now you can't lose, so nothing to keep you motivated)
seems like a rythm game, but without any synching of music and sound. Everything felt kindof rough about it. Doesn't really fit the theme either. Overall, just not terribly fun. :(
controls were extremely bad; I can only assume you spend all your time on the particle engine? ultimately just isn't a game at all. Sorry :(
Quite amusing, cute gfx, not quite a whole game tho.
just didn't get there, looks like it could've been fun with a little more work. :/
I feel like I was missing something on level 2... got to the second button, and to the room past it with an arrow, but it didn't advance to level 3? Pretty fun, that aside
Wasn't able to test multiplayer, but single player was pretty fun. I like it, kindof like an RTS but with only indirect player influence.
I got stumped on level 5 or 6 (the one after Ambush), tried and tried and couldn't win that one :/ Very interesting idea, though, interesting twist on the rts thing.
After playing about 5 rounds of dll scavenger hunt, got it to run. Pretty neat, not very finished-seeming though. Had some fun running over zombies, and when it didn't even congratulate me on saving the city, I had some fun running over the healthy people :)
heh, very original, very fun, very HARD :) Quite excellent. One sound effect (the level start one, also played on launch) actually caused me physical discomfort, tho, dunno why.
Very nice, quite fun. Sound would be nice, and the levels seemed to get hard very quickly after a slow start, but I enjoyed playing it and got stuck I think on level 17
Took me a while to beat level 2, hardly tried level 3. Quite fun and very funny, tho.
Not sure if I was missing the strategy but after a while it seemed like I won or lost based on the starting configuration. Very interesting idea, tho, and I had fun for a while
Pretty fun! The small window seems like an odd choice, and made it a little hard to see, but it was pretty fun. Seemed really easy for many levels, then got hard fairly quickly.
hit a wierd glitch once where the first blue door wouldn't open after I cleared the room, but came back and played until I had to make myself quit to go on to the next. I'll be playing it again, tho. Very cool.
would like to see what it turned into if you finished it...
Very fun, though I haven't managed to beat it on Normal yet, heh
Very polished, but not really very fun. I generally like puzzle games but it just seemed too difficult; often I would have 3 pills with nowhere to place them within the first few turns
A little simple, but pretty fun. Didn't see much of "infection" or "Spreading" to the gameplay, more like "invasion"
Pretty fun and original idea. An interesting entry.
I want to love this but I was having major depth perception issues with it, hard to tell really where you are or where you're going. Looks and feels great tho, and very original concept
finally back to reviewing.. had a lot of fun with this. I try not to give out too many 5s, gave you a 5 for fun because I was determined to beat the boss despite rising frustration, which means you were doing something right :) Sound would've been nice, but otherwise great entry!
so, a friend tested this and it crashed for him; on investigation, I found it will crash for me if I run in release mode with the debugger active, tho it doesn't crash for me otherwise. Seems an fstream::operator << call is clobbering the stack somehow, as it returns from the call with an "improved" this pointer. >.<
oohkay, not sure I've fixed the real problem, but got a hackfix that has worked for everyone who's tried it so far. Now, I return to figuring out what was actually going on, so I can turn logging back on :P
pretty fun game, guys, very nice! Simple, but a lot of clever little elements in there, like the head-juggling objects to whack the flying squid. My only suggestion for improving it (other than perhaps some shinier gfx ;) ) would be to replace the simple time-based scoring with something more complex; give points surviving over time, but also for whacking things, head-bumping things, etc. Perhaps score multipliers while head-juggling something, things like that. Pretty fun little game as-is tho :)
had me remembering Double Dragon back in the NES days. Great entry :D
gonna have to come back and try this again later; took me a minute to figure out what was what. Very original concept, and nice implementation :D
reading your comments I suspect the "impossible jump" I was stuck at was this "wrong way" you're referring to. Other than getting stuck there, quite fun, I may have to come back later and see if I can find the RIGHT way :)
would've tried more times if the opening text didn't last longer than my first 10 lives... XD I suck at bullet hell games though. Very pretty, very nice :)
agreed with other comments about the walking speed, otherwise nice entry :D
look didnt' work at all in chrome, but dunno if this is your game or unity, worked fine in ff. Seconded on the look thing, I wanted to like this game but I'm just not an inverted-mouse-look guy and that made it frustrating (and not in a fun meatboy frustration kindof way :) It's quite pretty, and I enjoyed the portal-style commentary from the Ifrit :)

Very impressive entry, and quite fun. I've seen plenty of games on the iphone app store that felt far less polished than this!
have to agree with everone. Not at all clear what I am doing exactly. Mushrooms eat blocks, but I cover the entire map with mushrooms and lose anyway. Cute tho :/
Very nice puzzles, quite fun :)
