It's like Asteroids with an invincible ship and no score. Graphics are excellent, for programmer art. Much better than I could do. Controls are really stiff, with only 8 facings for the ship. This is probably why people usually mix SDL with OpenGL, to allow for nice rotated and scaled sprites. A respectable attempt, especially in the time limit.
graphics look nice. there didn't seem to be an win/lose condition.
Not really a game, so it's kind of hard to judge...
I understood the theme as "something that spreads" not only "something that infects" so I scored low in theme. Also I don't thing it's complete as it lacks score and lives that would give the game more fun. I was able to compile and run it under Linux though.
Nice try, too bad you couldn't get it finished. I don't know if it was intentional, but running into the bugs didn't keill me, so maybe victory/loss would have been how many got off the bottom of the screen - if so then a nice twist on the old space invadeer setup.
A little unfinished.. :( A nice start, though. Infection was there, but wasn't part of the gameplay..
There are more enemies than I got pills, I'm powerless!
Gfx are pretty neat.. pity you didnt get more done on it
