Extremely polished. The graphics, especially in the interfaces, are consistently good. Much good sound I only wish I wouldn't lose points for killing civilians, if they're talking about communism. Preemptive measures are fun.
I like how the chicken's have a life cycle, and the sounds, though few, are really fitting. Otherwise, it's a pretty generic idea.
I really like the use of the Game of Life, especially with the lasers and weapon building. However, as Life is all about emergent complexity, I don't really have any control. Mostly, it's just lots of clicking and a little missle/laser rationing, which is only interesting for a bit.
Also, this totally aside from the game design, the mouse buttons are way too sensitive. I frequently fire all my missles (as many as ten) at once, in what I thought was once click. Are you maybe just reading the state of the mouse buttons?
Hmm.
A pretty solid nibbles clone.
